What I do are looking for the type of domains that are trendy in market such cloud, vr, crypto, holo, drone, insurance, and cabinetry though cabinetry is not as such trendy but it is a good niche that sells any day any time.I do this on both hand reg and at expire domains. The next thing I do before buying is to look at what are the quoted and unquoted search "volume on Google" I have a set down cut off for every niche. I also visit auctions to see what are going fast in the market to adjust my interest. I also take a lot of what I will call reasonable risks in my opinion. Without taking sensible risks you can.not make it in domain name biz

This biz is same as evry other biz; it requires learning and inbuilt ideas from what you have learnt from place to places. You must read and understand what makes good domain name for investment. I t is not something you can just learn within few minutes, even if someone tell you his or her own ideas it might not be enough, it may not work for; you must build up your idea from what you have learnt here or from many places so tjat when you see any good domain you should be able to know.
What hakay was telling you is that you need to read and learn something to enable you know what makes good domain names, because there are no two equal domains.

I'm not the best in it, actually a newbie as I have not sold a domain but you do not need to be a programmer. The idea is buying an expired domain you feel someone somewhere would be interested in then reselling.

For example no domain permanently belong to anyone rather its renewed over a period of between one to ten years and if the initial owner fails to renew it, anyone can purchase and use or resell.

Imagine a domain like Facebook.com expires and Mark forgets to renew it also the imagine the name is not trademarked to him. You could easily or not easily buy that domain for like $10. If Mark remembers and comes to you asking for that name, how much would you sell it to him?........ Oya come back from imagination.

So thats just the overview for selling an expired domain. Twill do you much good to start reading the thread from page one of you think this business is for you. Me I've been thinking its for me but not sold a single domain in over 5 months of starting but I still learn and stick with it daily. Good luck and welcome.

Thanks. With my ten good years of experience as a domainer, and I still continue to learn more. Here are my submission and in my own honest opinion. See, there are many factors beyond what I will explain below.

Traffic is not everything; it is just one of those set of factors that premium domains needed to have : among those factors, useability is a major one, then relevancy to the end users is another factor, age is good but it only gives confidence to customers, length is also good and very important, another major factor is rarity/ when there is no alternative of the keyword; be it two or three words. But the major factor is, if you have a good dictionary word - one word or two or three words are good.
The only domain that can have traffic is the dictionary one word and in some cases two words and you can only find those among expiring list. With hard work you can find them for hand reg but such can only be among the new upcoming development. By studying latest development, you can find them.
Recently, BitcoinCash was registered in Match 2017 and sold in July this year.

I am sorry for the implication, did not know it could get to implicate as it is a support issue but i was actually sad at your non-response to try to support even after i explained my peculiar situation.

I got a message to write the test on Saturday Nov 28th at 11:30pm, completed the test/ questionnaire on Sunday 29th but had issues to placing my recording link, I sent mail to jobvite and hackerrank and also tried to get support through nairaland but could not submit the issue. I created another account as adviced by xxxx and tried posting but was told i had to wait for a week to post which i explained to xxxx wiith screenshots but got no response, so u should understand my frustration as the time was running out until i got a response from hackerrank that the issue had been sent to crossover and they sent the link.

Fortunately, I got a response from crossover at on Saturday and sent in my link to them before the expiry of my 7days.

As regards the Versata L1 Support role, I got an invite to take the test. Two mails though. One from Crossover and another from the Talent Acquisition Team.

I took the tests going through the link I received from Crossover. However, when I got to the fourth stage - the Multiple Choice Skill Test, I was asked to provide a password. I tried several passwords but could not log in.

I decided to try the second mail from the Talent Acquisition Team and discovered that it was the same link to the 120 minute time test. The only difference was that I didn't require a password to log in. Just my skype ID and my name. I logged in and took the test and have submitted (this morning).

I just want to find out if anyone had similar challenge with password and if the link from the Talent Acquisition Team is any different from the Versata link which I doubt. Also, I was not asked to submit my voice recording when I started the test (They stated that would be the first question). Please how did you guys go about the 4th stage?
