Chai I'm getting Device not supported on the Leagoo Kiicca Power 2gb ram Android 7.0 any help on how to be able to play? I tried the lite version but It requires VPN as it only supported in the Philippines.

I have read all the posts about how kiicca power is a rubbish phone and all...
maybe it's just for me alone but I have not experienced any major fault from my phone since I bought it in March. my first incident was getting it a little soaked in water.. the phone went dead with the torch Coming on immediately I put battery. I took it to CPR and they fixed it for 3k.since then it's been fine. I have flashed many custom ROMs on the phone, I am currently using infinix xos 2.3 better than the original leagoo software and yeye updates and planning to flash miui 9 the one on Redmi phones.( flashing all these means you will lose your fingerprint scanner which I don't think is important for me) my own experience has been good so far. my battery still lasts like the first day.

It's all about your usage..
it's not a very rugged and solid phone
but it's not rubbish, after all it's 2gb ram 16gb rom and 4000 mah for 20k...
be careful with it or save money and buy a solid phone.

Good morning, you said again meaning it was working before.
try these things first:
Use another Cable to test it and make sure you select transfer files from the notification panel ( top of the screen)

have you tried other laptops?

do you know how to go to device manager on your laptop?
search for device manager on the search bar on Windows 7/ 8/ 10 and check if you can find kiicca power there .

if you can't find it there and you have done all these things
.then the charging port might be faulty.

Update : the Fingerprint doesn't work On the ROM I've tried on another leagoo device... So guys.... For now that's the main bug... Going to try fixing it for the time being ....

First I never liked the bokeh thing... It doesn't really work on the leagoo. ( just blurring the background and leaving the center is not bokeh. any camera app that has bokeh feature will restore you to your beloved bokeh.. I like the normal XOS improved camera .. A camera download will fix that. So it doesn't support bokeh because the XOS doesn't do bokeh.. ( replacing the camera app with stock camera should do the trick I can prepare a patch for that. But try this one first. If you need bokeh we'll patch things up..

The Complete Guide to rooting and flashing will drop tonight .. But if you can't wait just goto page 33 and use Zeratul75's post to install twrp recovery. While you wait for the ROM. ( all credit due to Zeratul75 for his post that enabled me to flash recovery and get motivated to port this ROM for leagoo kiicca power T591.... U try Sir! ) T592 users should try to port it to their own oh... Seems the two variants are different.
I bricked my device trying to flash a T592 recovery and my fingerprint went dead! So beware... Don't say Neo didn't tell you or that I spoilt your leagoo ... I will laugh at you! Don't be afraid though..
You can never go wrong following my instructions and Zeratul75's as they come from experience ( you can say I paid the price )
So as long as you backed up u are good.

I can't sir... Unless I have the phone physically for testing and development. Your device uses a 64bit Mt6737 processor which is pretty new to me..

3. My finger print works but not always all the time I hope it will be improved.

I think I know how to use SP FLASH TOOL. I once used it to change my Gionee M5 ROM to the Indian version then and it was successful.

Question 1: Yes before you flash you will backup your old ROM so you can go back.
Question 2: Slow charging? I haven't even noticed slow charging on my normal leagoo...before the flash.. So I didn't do anything about charging.. But since its a new flash it might just be fixed automatically ( who knows)

Question 3: Leagoo's fingerprint issue is hardware related most people are complaining ... So my answer here is honestly I don't know .. My own fingerprint scanner is dead... ( I caused it myself)
I'm writing a guide on how to flash this step by step without any issues.. Thing is I need a leagoo with working fingerprint to be sure of anything .

This ROM was ported using the system files from the latest official update .. I have not noticed any of the force close issues that the normal old stock ROM has e.g force closing and some apps keep stopping e.t.c

ROM will be available soonest ( I don't have enough data to upload it yet)

No you won't...
You will have to flash a custom recovery ( TWRP) using spflash tool( no need for rooting)..

As for the ROM I haven't uploaded it anywhere I will do that for anyone who needs it Tonight.

I have made a very stable port of infinix XOS 2.3 Custom ROM for the leagoo kiicca power ..

ROM is working well.. fixed a few bugs and its now 98% stable.

I haven't been able to confirm if this ROM fingerprint support truly works because I haven't been able to fix my fingerprint that I broke during my sp flash tool saga... (check my previous post) but everything works well for now.

if you want to try this ROM indicate interest...
you will need a Custom recovery like TWRP

This is for T591 only.

note: this ROM should work perfectly on a Leagoo kiicca that the fingerprint wasn't faulty already... mine was faulty before I ported and flashed ( which makes me worried that my own problem might be very serious. pls... if you use sp flash tool "don't do the format option for the Leagoo kiicca!" just choose download some things can't be recovered easily when formatted)

You should have just done a dual boot of Windows and Ubuntu

Nigeria should not be made a dumping ground for any aerial keke. We can manufacture something much better than this for the rice fields in Kebbi state.

they are going to be used to train young pilots.. not for real combat mission. so in my opinion its not a bad idea. u can't train with expensive gear in a country like Nigeria. understanding is very key .
