One of my sacked lecturers on the list died 3years ago.

A retired professor of 4years was also sacked.

Bro, if you are Eksu you will know that pry6 excuse was a scam.

They are simply purging out their staffs, nothing more.
Think what you just wrote: if they sack a dead professor, that means was is still in their payroll even after death which is not supposed to be so and same goes to retired professor.
What is the injustice in sacking a retired professor who is still in the institution’s payroll? I

It is not purging my friend, it is doing the right thing. Righting the wrongs.

We need to start looking at things with open minds in Nigeria .

Due to rampant age falsification, They were asked to provide their primary 6 leaving certificate as part of verification exercise recently conducted.

The truth was glaring as some people finished pry 6 when they were 4 or 5 years old based on their declared date of birth. LOL.

In Nigeria, everyone is a victim even criminal caught red handed!
PoliticsRe: What Nigeria Youths Must Do To Get Nigeria Working Again by Nesoalba: 6:50am On Dec 14, 2019
Firstly, Nigerian must stop relying on the Hope being sold by the church and the mosques and start being economically productive.

The agenda of Nigerian politician is systematic impoverishment of the masses which makes the masses overtly dependent on them. This makes them in control, we are forced to reckon with them and they easily influence people decision.

Create a productive economy where there is job, where people will not depend (directly or indirectly) on govt contracts, political money and we will all see major changes.

Hello Guys, I recently got PR and would be relocating in December. I intend to apply for a visitor visa for my mum so that she can come with us. I don't know if this is the right place, but I need guidance on how best to apply and the necessary documents to submit. Note that she's retired and doesn't have any source of income per se.
I think it is too early for you to apply for visa for your mum based on your recent PR. Technically you are not yet a permanent resident until you land in Canada. Your PR is approved but will only be granted upon arrival at Canadian port of entry. With this said, you don’t have necessary document to back up her application: means of livelihood in Canada, accommodation, tax, PR card, bank statement because you will be responsible for her expenses based on your note above. I will advise you do your landing, get a job, stable income source, proof of accommodation: rental agreement, utility bill etc before you apply for her. From experience it will take you 6months to settle in and that is when I will advise you to put in her application. Note this is my personal thought as a Canada resident but my thought may be wrong.

Yes am married...am a senior official working with the government but my husband attached all his work documents, bank statement, pay slips to support me...we have a Us citizen daughter..we also attached two buildings of ours...and my husband is not going which I thought it's a tie back home...my invitee in Canada is my husband cousin...
I guess the major issue is tie with Canada. Your husband who has some “link” with your host is not going hence jeopardizes the reason why you are going there....effectively you don’t have any connection with this person. My thought though.

Looks like it's raining denial with Canada at the moment. I also got my visa refusal today based on travel history and not sure if I'll comr back bla bla..

Anyways, I saw something on Twitter and thought to share. Someone said if you apply online it's the embassy in London that will reply you rather than our cousins in Kenya. If approved you'll be asked to send your passport to VFS office in Lekki who will then send to their Lagos embassy to put the visa on.

Just thought to share. I don't know the authenticity though
Your assertion is right. I submitted online application for my aged dad and response of approval came from London VO 2 weeks ago to submit passport for visa in Lagos.
