SenorFax:Think what you just wrote: if they sack a dead professor, that means was is still in their payroll even after death which is not supposed to be so and same goes to retired professor. What is the injustice in sacking a retired professor who is still in the institution’s payroll? I It is not purging my friend, it is doing the right thing. Righting the wrongs. We need to start looking at things with open minds in Nigeria . |
Some people will still come here now and scream “Buhari”, “Marginalization”, “Northern Agenda” What do I even know sef! |
Due to rampant age falsification, They were asked to provide their primary 6 leaving certificate as part of verification exercise recently conducted. The truth was glaring as some people finished pry 6 when they were 4 or 5 years old based on their declared date of birth. LOL. In Nigeria, everyone is a victim even criminal caught red handed! |
Firstly, Nigerian must stop relying on the Hope being sold by the church and the mosques and start being economically productive. The agenda of Nigerian politician is systematic impoverishment of the masses which makes the masses overtly dependent on them. This makes them in control, we are forced to reckon with them and they easily influence people decision. Create a productive economy where there is job, where people will not depend (directly or indirectly) on govt contracts, political money and we will all see major changes. |
Agbejoro, Agborodun.....amebo! See position ooo...”Former Executive Director on Media and Publicity to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress” I wonder how this will fit into a business card. |
Talking:I think it is too early for you to apply for visa for your mum based on your recent PR. Technically you are not yet a permanent resident until you land in Canada. Your PR is approved but will only be granted upon arrival at Canadian port of entry. With this said, you don’t have necessary document to back up her application: means of livelihood in Canada, accommodation, tax, PR card, bank statement because you will be responsible for her expenses based on your note above. I will advise you do your landing, get a job, stable income source, proof of accommodation: rental agreement, utility bill etc before you apply for her. From experience it will take you 6months to settle in and that is when I will advise you to put in her application. Note this is my personal thought as a Canada resident but my thought may be wrong. |
Abioolly:I guess the major issue is tie with Canada. Your husband who has some “link” with your host is not going hence jeopardizes the reason why you are going there....effectively you don’t have any connection with this person. My thought though. |
