What is the difference between APC and PDP?

A few months ago, many APC members were in PDP and vice versa. The umbrella and broom didn't loot the treasury. But voters keep believing every lie shoved down their throats. I am not expecting any change whether Buhari or Atiku wins. Nigeria is beyond redemption. Will any of them winning stop Yahoo plus, rituals, drug dealers, scammers, skull mining, kidnapping, armed robbery, extortion, bribery, forgery, looting? These are ills common Nigerians have adapted to and accepted in their lives. Yet some folks believe it is all about APC or PDP.

APC is better than PDP. Buhari is lightyears ahead of Atiku in every good ways.

So come 2019, it is Sai Baba all the way!

PDP has not repented. Nigerians cannot hand Nigeria over to Atiku to restore Corruption and loot what is left.

The problem with Buhari is that he is always still working on something. 30 years later, he is still working on increasing the number of his cows beyond 20. Give him another 10 years, he will still be working on the things you listed.

Buhari is working on:
- Diversification, seeking other avenues to generate revenues to complement what we earn from the Oil Sector (like Agric, etc).
- Social investment programmes that create employments and provide seed money for Nigerians who wants to do business.
- Improve the ease of doing business in order to encourage new Startups and strengthen existing businesses.
- Block loopholes so corrupt politicians will not find it easy to loot public funds.
- Ensure credibility in public services, so that the little resources available will be properly utilized.
- Save up so that our Economy will have the Backbone it needs to soldier on to greatness.
- Prosecute offenders to serve as deterrent and bring accountability.
- Recover looted funds that were senselessly fissile away from the treasury.
- Encourage Nigerians to work hard so we can all have a better future ahead.

All Atiku cares about is How to sell NNPC and National Assets with 6 months in office?

I was one of those who campaigned for Buhari and voted out GEJ for many of those reasons too so i do not have a problem with the bolded. I have since moved on after seeing Buhari's abysmal performance. By the way, if you cannot forgive GEJ, how come you mention nothing about Buhari doing nothing despite being Minister of petroleum, still supervising heavy corruption in the sector since 2015?

So i get your point, you do not trust Atiku to privatize NNPC, not that his point that it should be privatized doesn't make sense?
Atiku's grand plan of selling 90% NNPC and other National Assets is not a sound Economic Policy especially if that is the very first thing to do.

I am not insultive , the truth is that buhari got to the sit because of the continuous reform to the electoral act,why can't buhari add his own contributions to deepen our democracy instead of trying to take advantage of the flaws,if he had been interested he would have been the one to send the executive bill but he is the one frustrating it by delaying till the last day of the 30days before sending it back, now multiply 4times that he has rejected the bill by 3odays that he keeps the bill, only him wasted 120 days which is a lot and that is deliberate any reasonable person can easily see that, he was deliberately looking for fault, the electoral act can not be perfect we will continue to work on it till it has semblance of perfection, the conclusion is buhari lacks the integrity that is attributed to him,he will take advantage of the system like everyone he is not different from any average Nigerian,I don't have a problem with him been returned as the president since everyone will have his fair share of the consequences of his incompetence
I apologize if I made a sweeping summation. Frankly you can't be angry with Mr. President seeking that due diligence be done. President Buhari is a man that believe on the right thing be done, especially when National Interest in on the line. He will rather take insults and abuses in order to protect National Interest.

oga that is a lie from the pit of hell, which APC people are known for my problem with APC is that it is populated with the worst set of Nigerians, retrogressive, self centered people who in 100years can never move this country forward, signing the electoral bill amended into law would have helped to improve our electoral process but since buhari have not come to improve anything in Nigeria except to steal and destroy he will not sign it ,it will be against his character,he has never add anything of value to Nigeria since he became president, his illitrate supporters we're saying it's because pdp stole all the money, does he need any money to sign this law that would have helped the country tremendously in it's leadership recruitment, that could have count for an achievement but
When you are done with your insults and name-calling, hear this: Changing the rules (Law) that guides the 2019 election about 2 months to the election will create disruptive tendency, confusion and conflict. This will disrupt our nascent Democracy.

Secondly, the current Bill as present to Mr. President by the National Assembly had new provisions that conflicted with provisions and guidelines existing on other sections of the Constitution (which were not part of what NASS amended).

What the President has done is decline signing, highlight the areas of contradictions and send it back for the lawmakers to review and sought out.

So what is it with the name calling and Why is PDP pushing for the Bill to be signed without correcting the errors?

You are clinging on straw. Even the then President Jonathan was verified manually in 2015. What you are saying is with your new bill from Saraki, Jonathan would not have voted since the Cards Reader did not read his prints. Will that not form a ground for the loosing candidate to disprove the election?

These and many others is why Nigerians are apprehensive with PDP's push to sign the Bill without fixing it.

Why not make your point straight without first chiding?

Selling NITEL was a wise decision by Nigerian Government, it ended the billions continuously allocated to the sector without improvement. So also should Universities and other government assets[ liabilities sold to private investors who are then given standards to operate and taxed heavily for revenue.

SOLD is another word for PRIVATIZED and people have been calling for that for NNPC for long. Exploring, Refining and Selling crude or refined products should not be Government’s Business, that’s why we have the heavy corruption in that sector. Government should rather be regulating the business. Up to 40 - 50% tax is not too small for government to make from tax from private companies who make much more money from the business when it’s left for them to do, compared to peanuts we see as a result of government running the business
If Atiku's Proxies that wants to buys these assets wanted to pay a fair value for the worth of these National Assets, they would have started theirs, rather they want to buy these assets at peanuts, use as guarantees to lobby funding and investments from financial institutions and investors. All to the detriments of the masses.

After selling NITEL it is still struggling to compete with even airtel.

You mean perpetual national assets liabilities like NITEL which revolutionized the telecom industry? Even Universities should be sold, FG should have no business running Universities and other businesses. They should focus on taxes, policies and wealth circulation
There is nowhere in the world Government does not have assets. That you want Atiku to sell NNPC to some folks that want to credit his campaign fund does not mean everyone should consider it right.

Yes i believe its his right and should be used for the right intentions, and its our duty to also to question his intent and sincerity and educate the public about the contents of the bill he refused to accent and the flimsiness of his excuse. A president who has eroded the trust of many could abuse his constitutional powers for selfish interest as far as we are concerned.

We hoped he would improve upon the electoral process he inherited so loopholes observed in the last election can be blocked, but it seems he is bent on keeping the system as was. Shame!
- So you believe refusal to sign a half baked bill is NOT Right Intentions.

- Whose trust did Buhari? Trust of people like Saraki, Atiku and co who believed just because they supported Buhari's election, that meant they should be allocated positions and portfolios to plant their thugs to be siphoning public funds. Got back and read Saraki's lamentation on why he decamped.

President Buhari is fight for the good of Nigeria. Yes, more needs to be done. But advocating that Nigeria should be handed over politicians that have made known their looting intentions is a No No.

The change is on course,

Buhari is far better that Atiku that spent 8 years with OBJ(PDP for 16 years) and there is nothing to show for it

Maybe if Atiku is contesting under SDP I would have decided to vote for him.

He chaired the selling of our national assets

Change is a gradual process. We just have to fix infrastructure which is the fundamental ingredient for development.

Infrastructure is the backbone of economy and development.

We cannot continue to scratch on the face and expect development

Several abandoned projects that billions have been spent on are being completed across

Rails that will open up rural areas for easy transportation of food are being completed

Hydro power stations are being competed
Foreign reserve is growing steady
Pensioners are paid
Youth empowerment
Farmers initiative
Etc

Again what is Atiku going to do differently? they are all saying the same thing. "I will fight boko, i will sell nnpc, i will make Nigeria work again. I expected more from him if he is actually serious. And the fact that he was part of PDP years ago. I dont trust him angry

Seriously, I am not convinced about Atiku

I am voting Sowore sef
When Atiku was returning from Dubai, PDP were hoping for a Grand Economic Plan only to discover it was about selling NNPC to creditors that wanted to fund his Campaign. They all are very disappointed in his 6 years plan.

The Bill has issues. The President has pointed those out. Until those are fixed, the Bill will not be signed. So the PDP/Atiku should stop making it sound as if without the new bill, 2019 will not hold properly.

Mr. President has refused to be stampede into signing a deficient document into one. Especially one that is filled contradictions of the existing constitutional provisions.

He has rejected it. Saraki can now override the President getting a 2/3 voting majority in the National Assembly to make it Law. If he can't, he should do the right thing and correct the mistakes the President has raised.

The question is, how is this Buhari’s problem? When did Buhari become the judiciary? So every business prtnership or government process that started many years ago must wait to be completed before a new law comes into place?
That is exactly PDP's goal - If you can win the election, tie it up in Court. Cause confusion and blame it on Buhari.

Float a rumour he is dead and blame him that people are saying he is dead. And then ask him why he has not died so that people will stop saying he is dead.
