Modarun: Nah. take a look around those around Buhari? Tinubu, Rochas and Ameachi. Thieves.
The love for Buhari is simply borne out of love for nepotism, fanatism, bloodshed, violence, tribalism and inducing poverty on the populace. it has nothting whatsoever to do with Love, passion or patriotism. Am yet to see a liberal minded person support Buhari.
The love for Atiku is borne out of the masses rejection of poverty, hardship, recession and herdsmen killings. Bros incubate your anger all you want. PDP are stroking Anger in hope it will be enough to elect the Crook. No way. |

Yemike: You're wrong. The love for Atiku is borne out of the frustration and disappointment that people got from Buhari/APC. They have nowhere else to go but to Atiku. It seems what brought Buhari to power is also what will be bringing Atiku into aso rock. And unfortunately for Atiku, there will not be a enough ANGRY VOTES to elect him. Nigerians know how PDP squandered fortune that could have developed the country. Also we know the efforts of Buhari and the need to do more - sadly Atiku and the PDP are hoping we are ANGRY enough not to remember what evil PDP did. And how Atiku under OBJ sold National Assets even days to May 29. Yar'Adua has to reverse them. |

Saintp: There are many northerners in the south doing businesses today and nobody is worried about them. There is no business southerners do in the north that involves occupying a large expanse of territory handed over to them by govt. Seeing what is happening in the middle belt, the best thing the government should have done is to restrict the ranches to the states of the cattle owners to avoid future problems. It is not Prejudice, it is common sense except there is an ulterior motive which people suspect. Bros it is not your land. You are here screaming Land, Land, Land - I am not even sure you have 10 plots of land to your name anywhere in Nigeria. |

Modarun: and in you zombified mind you think Buhari who have ignored them the past 3plus years will get their votes? What Atiku has against Buhari is that people have seen the so called Buhari Change. It means seclussion, It means hunger, it means hardship, it means crocodile tears and python dance. When you mention Buhari most average Nigerians think of proverty, hardship and nepotism. Buhari can never win a free and fair elections even you guus knw that. This is why you always result to threats of use of force and rigging. But what you lots dont knw is we have seen it all. No one is cowed. I remember how you guus gave the rest of the country an impression that is the PDP and the dancing senator gets 10% of the votes in Osun state govt. election we should be surprised. But despite 40,000 police men and 5000 paramilitary, they cpuldnt deliver until they used inconclussive plot to rig themselves in. Be gone Bros, your post and comments here dont move anyone but lifeless zombies like you lot. First Buhari did not ignore anyone. Also the Federal Might you are wailing about, PDP had it for 12 years and used every bit of it - it is payback time. Seat and relax. Finally has got this. We can't possibly vote the criminals back to power. Mba nu. Until PDP repent, no show for them. |

baganas: pls summarize the content of the amended bill and let's make an informed opinion otherwise don't blame us. Count and announce is replaced with just announce while party merging must be completed 90 days to election is replaced with 21 days to election and then electronic voting be use for this election which is barely two months to go. This are some of the amendment. Can't see my interest in this. But if there is something we need to know pls share Exactly. They are pushing for it so that votes cast for all the mushroom parties he is buying will be counted for him. |

bilulu: don't you think dat is what should be encouraged instead of giving them public land? PDP demonized the whole Ranching of a thing and call it quest to Islamalize. Governors and Business men are afraid of backlash. It is up to FG to lead on this until there is a viable alternative solution. |
Politics › Re: NEXTLEVEL: FG Plans To Use Federal Government Lands To Set Up Ranches!!! by netpro(m): 2:46pm On Dec 09, 2018 |
Saintp: You have not understood why people are opposing it. I don't think anyone would give a damn if it is set up with govt money in the North only. Afterall the north has the biggest land area and they are the ones who own these cows so why take the ranches outside the core north if there is no ulterior motive? People are just afraid of conflict of the future so restrict the ranches to the core north alone, simple. Southerns get shops and do business in the North without reading meaning to what they will commit in the future. Since this issue has been States have not taken the lead either. It is on FG to act and lead on this. We should judging people for crimes they have not committed. It is called PREJUDICE. |

gare: He was not talking about loans, instead he was talking about lands for the poultry.
Well this is wrong, the government should allow the headers get their lands for businesses not allocating federal government land to the herds men It is Government job to create enabling environment. Setting up ranches is necessary to ensure Food Security for both Farmers and cattle owners. Nigeria has a Farmers-Herders crisis. Buhari is working on a viable solution, while the PDP and their supporters are spreading hate and fear. |

IamJames: No one is saying it isn't a profitable business but FG can't take land belonging to a state in the name of FG land and give it out to herders. Trust me it's going to be really resisted. Nobody is taking anybody's land. In case you don't know FG have land in many places. Moreover lands can be bought from communities and owners that are interested in selling. Just like one can buy and setup a factory or Industries. |

nameo: Nobody is against ranching per se.
Let private individuals negotiate with tge land owners on ranch ownership. It should not be a Govt thing.
Govt should never go to the domain of people and give out a large chuck of land by "force" to another people all in the name if ranching. PDP for Political reasons has repeated tried to demonize ranches. FG has the responsibility to take the lead. It is needed to help farmers. It will help resolve the reoccurring conflicts. And it will improve Food Security in the country. I am glad the Government is not giving up on it for convenience, |

Modarun: What is Buharis govt business with setting up private business? Did we vote him to build ranches for his people are to govern Nigeria?
If its about profitability, running a piggery is more profitable than a cattle ranch. why cattles? Whoever sets up a ranch owns it, FG, State, Business, Individuals, etc. You can setup a Ranch and allow others to keep their livestock for a fee. Food Security is a matter of National Importance. This is needed. If you have a better suggestion put it up. Even Atiku has not said a word differently. |
