A secondary school student well known as, Emmanuel Chukwuebuka Nnanna, by his mates was stoned to death by some of his classmate in Anambra state.

The secondary school student who is currently in JSS 1 at Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha died after one of his classmates reportedly threw a stone at him yesterday.

HE DIED BECAUSE OF THE STUDENTS ENVY AND THE TEACHER’S CARELESSNESS.
THIS is Emmanuel Chukwuebuka Nnanna , a Jss 1 student at Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, A native of Oburo Ogwa in mbaitoli LGA, Imo state. He died on Tuesday 12th February 2019 by a large stone thrown to crush his head from the school dormitory window by his fellow envious student. This happened after school hours, the victim was said to finished eating in the school cafeteria, fetched water with his gallon kept the water in his corner and came outside to play football. He met two students playing football, asked if he can join them and the two boys playing the football told him to wait for they are playing turn by turn . While waiting and watching them a mischievous student carried a large stone they used to hold the dormitory door, targeted the victim from upstairs and hit the large stone on his head. The victim fell down immediately and become unconscious. The two boys playing the football carried him to the school clinic, there was no equipment to handle his case there so one of the clinic attendance carried him out the school gate and started looking for keke, he got one took him to general hospital Onitsha where no treatment was given to him. They latter took him to iyi enu hospital when he has already bled to death. While all these was going on, they did not contact his father, Kanayo hospital and other private hospitals are very close to DMGS, instead of them to take him there as his case is emergency, they rushed him to general and then far away iyi enu because it’s Anglican hospital. Just like that an innocent boy that lost his mother when he was only three years, a super intelligent boy with multiple talent died because of his fellow students envy and school management carelessness.

Davido asks for forgiveness after body shaming a lady who accused him of selling his soul

Davido apologies for body shaming a lady who attacked him over his political views and affiliation, the DMW boss and a supporter of the Un-Ruling party(PDP) seriously went mad at the lady with lots of insults READ HERE.

The lady(@_T.lolo) who accused Davido of selling his soul to win votes for the political parties his supporting, meanwhile the lady called him out over his political affiliations.… Davido replied with insults slut-shaming her.

His action was largely condemned by so many on the social media, after he was accused him of body shaming her.

Davido addressed the allegations in a lengthy post. He stated that he knows the lady personally and she could come directly to him, but rather went to accuse him online, this action he claimed hurt him so bad. According to him, he’s friends with the girl and her boyfriend. If anything, she should’ve talked to him privately not put it out there on social media.


Davido started by clarifying that he had never gotten any cash from the PDP to join their campaign.

He also addressed reports that there is a beef between himself and Wizkid, stating that Wizkid or his team never mentioned him any of their post, neither has he.

According to him seeking clouts and maybe recognition, drove him mad and he’s aware he might have overreacted but himself na human being. He’s very sorry.

Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa's has been murdered (shot dead) - Photo

it has been confirmed that the Special Assistant on Youth Development to Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, Lawrence Akpomiemie, has been murdered, it was said that he was shot dead.

According to reports, Akpomiemie was going out with his girlfriend when unidentified gunmen approached him and shot him dead at close range in the Uvwie Local Government Area of the state last night Friday, February 15th.

Pandemonium broke out in the area afterwards as his supporters began to attack the home of those believed to be behind the murder.

The police have been drafted to the area and are making frantic effiorts to restore peace. Meanwhile the remains of the deceased has been deposited in the morgue. It is not certain if the girlfriend of the deceased was killed in the attack.

The Nation reports that prior to his appointment by Governor Okowa in 2016, Akpomimie was standing trial for murder and other crime but was controversially released from prison before being appointed.

BREAKING: INEC To Postpone Nigeria Presidential Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is considering postponing Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections, according to PREMIUM TIMES.
Multiple sources close to the electoral commission said the postponement being considered is due to some logistics challenges being faced by the commission in many states.

The electoral body is facing difficulty distributing sensitive electoral materials to some states of the federation, an official said.

A formal announcement is expected on Friday night, our sources said.

It is unclear at this time what the new election date would be.

“There will definitely be a postponement but we are yet to take a decision on the new date,” an official said.

Another official said the commission is considering fixing the elections for Sunday.

Our sources said INEC commissioners are currently locked in a meeting at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

Some of the states where the logistic challenges are said to occur include Niger and Ekiti.

Femi Otedola sells his 75% direct and indirect shareholding in Forte Oil (Screenshot)

Nigerian oil magnate, Femi Otedola thas transmitted a letter to the Nigerian Stock Exchange informing them of his decision to sell his 75% direct and indirect shareholdings in Forte Oil.

In the letter signed by Akinleye Olagbende, the general counsel of Forte Oil, Otedola said he was divesting from the company in order to “explore and maximise business opportunities in refining and petrochemicals”.
“Forte Oil Plc hereby notifies the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Securities and Exchange Commission, Shareholders and the investing community that its Majority Shareholder, Mr. Femi Otedola, CON has reached an agreement with the Prudent Energy team, investing through Ignite Investments and Commodities Limited, to divest of his full 75% direct and indirect shareholding in the Company’s downstream business,” the statement said.
Otedola has been the majority shareholder in the company since 2007, when the Incorporated Trustees of NNPC’s Pension Fund divested its stake to the Otedola-owned Zenon Petroleum & Gas Limited.

The Kaduna Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on December 18, 2018 arraigned one Shinum Adinga before Justice Muhammed Muazu of the Kaduna State High Court on a two-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust and obtaining by false pretence.

Adinga had deceived his victim into parting with N4,050,000 in instalments in the belief that it was being invested in a ginger farming business, which turned out to be false.

One of the counts reads:
“That you, Shonum Adinga, sometimes in 2016 in Kaduna within the Kaduna Judicial Division of the High Court with intent to defraud, did obtain the sum of N3,830,000 (Three Million Eight Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira) by way of instalment payment from one Peter Onyeka Sunday also called Peter Eze through your wife’s account Margret Shunom, domiciled with Diamond Bank under the false pretence that the said money will be invested for ginger business, which will generate profits on the said amount, a pretence you knew was false and you there by committed an offence contrary to Section 1(1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable u
nder Section 1(3) of the same Act”.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arraigned and secured the convictions of three Internet fraudsters, fondly referred to as “yahoo-yahoo boys”, on December 18, 2018.

The boys; Emeka Anyanechi Ekene, 27; Anthony Oghuma, 26, and Onokebhagbe Okouromi Franklin, 25 were brought before Justice D.Z. Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory, FCT High Court, Jabi, for various offences bordering on Internet fraud.

Ekene was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on cheating, and for specializing in inducing his victims through a Facebook account, to part with their hard earned money. The offence contravenes Section 95 of the Penal Code, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (Abuja) 1990.
Oghuma, on his part, was arraigned on a one-count charge, bordering on obtaining by false pretence. He allegedly induced a Canadian who goes simply by the name, David, to transfer N2 million to him. The offence contravenes Section 320 (a) of the Penal Code, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (Abuja) 1990 and punishable under Section 322 of the same Law.

Franklin was arraigned on a four-count charge, bordering on obtaining by false pretence, for inducing a New York-based divorcee who goes by the name, Mary, posing as Peter Mark, a Contractor based in Malaysia.
