This culture of deifying our leaders is still in us.

Our King's were autocratic. They were worshipped by the people. The only thing that kept them at Bay was the chief priest.

It is autocratic. It shows in our homes. We are not natural democratic.

Our culture is not democratic

For instance, l have always said that our colonial masters forced the system of democracy on us

We need the Nigerian solutions that are intellectually based.

And they are issues unique to Nigerians

This is because the Nigerian issues are not usual issues

That may be beneficial to the president but not to the country. The style of leadership that will take Nigeria out of the woods will not be conventional

And when people feel you are very corrupt. At best they will appreciate the president but the country will be seen as very corrupt

Today while we hear of corruption everyday in ( taking our patriotism away ). If you don't manage your fight against corruption well. It will make people feel you are very corrupt.

The government must focus on giving people reason to love Nigeria again

While there are some that are doggedly patriotic they still need encouragement.

So guys that are nursing patriotism are encouraged. Patriotism is like love. If you don't give reasons to be loved. You won't be

Why will l lead in my community if l am not patriotic. Patriotism is very important and people like Tolu must be rewarded and appreciated

We really have to understand that at the end of the day the change will come when the people start working out the change

As a trader in the market. Be the inspiration

Be the inspiration in your street. As a student be the inspiration.

First of all, it is imperative that we understand that we can still lead in our small environment without being a governor

While the government have the responsibility to lead and inspire the people ( in majority ) to do what is right. We the people, also have a huge role to play

No country can become a nation without patriotism

The politicians must see them as the protectors and custodian of patriotism

Our men and women in uniform should be given the respect they deserve

And to hear that some of them complain of late payment of allowances is really sad

Even for the wife of husband or vice versa . Is another level

It is alot pressure

The soldiers are trained to handle the situation but their parents are not trained and their heart will be in their mouth when their children is going to war.
