Politics / Re: Not A Great Start To Voters Registeration by NewsMonste(m): 9:22pm On Jan 15, 2011
Know this first.

Saharareporters have made immense contributions to the growth of Nigeria's democracy and human rights, right from the days its founder Sowore Omoyole was with Elendureports. However, today he seems to have lost tough and digressed to mundane concerns in a desperate bid to remain the opponent of those in power, sorry those in the Villa. As long as Sajarareporters are concerned nothing good can ever come out of Nigeria, sorry, Presidency. That is negative journalism by our training. Journalism must be balanced.

Regarding the voter registration, we should all help to make it succeed not by promoting skepticism and pessimism. After all, we are joint partakers of the consequences of such failures. It is early days yet, so we should draw attention to issues with the intent to make it work and not to discourage the people. INEC should please note these concerns.
Forum Games / Re: The Art Of Passing The Buck by NewsMonste(m): 9:17pm On Jan 15, 2011
Passing the buck is natural. It is within the law of human self-preservation. That is why everyone seeks to have one whom he can easily pass the buck to and save himself the shame, dishonour, punishment and other nemesis of failure. The buck receivers are countless. Name them - wives, maids, lower class workers, members of cabinet, religious followers, etc etc
Let's live with it. Make yourself a buckpasser and find a buckreceiver but make sure at all times, you can rest assured you did your best before passing the buck. PERIOD!
Politics / Re: If Only Nigeria Could Be Like This by NewsMonste(m): 9:13pm On Jan 15, 2011
Nigeria must not be like Tunisia and Tunisia must not be like Nigeria. We can't have all the good things in Nigeria, also in Tunisia and vice versa. The question is not just about making the average life better for Nigerians. It is more of the average Nigerian being satisfied with an average life. Many of our leaders can piss one off but it is even worse on the streets. The attitude of people you meet on the street (mad drivers, insensible businessmen, etc) makes you thank God for the leaders we already have because it could have been terribly worse.

Yet we would continue hammering on these leaders, after all, we didn't beg them to go for those positions and because they did, they should bear the brunt, PERIOD!!!
