Politics / Re: Amb. John Campbell: Bribery & Intimidation Likely Helped Goodluck Defeat Atiku by NewsMonste(m): 1:00am On Jan 26, 2011 |
money was spent in the primaries and so what. Much ado about nothing. No primary anywhere in the world is done without some financial leverages. In the US things get done through, "Lobbying" - bills are passed; endorsements are gotten. There they run a cashless economy so much of deals are struck with much of the benefits being in business opportunities and others. We run a cash society and Ghana Must Go is the passport. Even Atiku cannot claim he did not spend. A new thread please. |
Politics / Re: Never Seen Before Biafran Picture by NewsMonste(m): 8:39pm On Jan 25, 2011 |
There is technology out there to turn black and white pics and videos into color. If u dont know it by now then u are really dumb. I know we have kids on this forum that do not know to respect others they hardly know. However, this is a forum for knowledge so I will restrain myself like Jonathan did against Atiku. Now you were so wise to educate me on technology - at least I know enough to type my comments and post them online. Why did your wisdom depart you when it came to the issue of the cups that were shown in the picture. Wise guy |
Politics / USA Now Friendly With Nigeria - Why? by NewsMonste(m): 10:40am On Jan 22, 2011 |
Any keen observer of Nigeria's relations with the US over the years would have noticed that throughout 2009 and early part of 2010 the US kept attacking Nigeria, its economy, politics, social conditions. In fact, they ridiculed anything that had Nigeria branded on it. For sometime now, the US hardly talks about Nigeria. It is a sudden silence. Even the world bank is now saying that corruption is not Nigeria's problem. Then IMF says the economy is improving. What is really happening here? The reserves are highly depleted and may pockets are still dry. What is really happening. Is it possible that these blonde hairs are siphoning our money through the international back door? Really its confusing, |
Politics / Re: CPC And ACN To Join Forces- Deal May Be Signed Tomorrow ! by NewsMonste(m): 2:03am On Jan 22, 2011 |
Buhari/Ribadu? With all due respects, such a team would only survive in Afhganistan, Iraq or Yemeni elections. Not in Nigeria!!!!!!!!!!! |
Investment / Re: Investors Shun Nigeria’s $500 Million Eurobond by NewsMonste(m): 1:45am On Jan 22, 2011 |
I have said it before that the Greatest mistake than Nigerian will make is to elect Jonathan in Y2011, Jonathan does not have clue about economy and runing Nigeria. Haba! Barnabas, Easy now. Na quarell? Take a breadth to read this post from REUTERS: LAGOS, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Nigeria issued a $500 million debut Eurobond on Friday with a 7.0 percent yield in a deal that was heavily oversubscribed, as appetite for high-yielding assets outweighed concern about its depleted oil savings. Any further comments fellow Nigerian. However, that doesn't mean you must vote Jonathan, just keep politics out of dear patriotic Nigerian. |
Politics / Re: Buhari Calls For 'TOTAL' Sharia In Nigeria by NewsMonste(m): 1:05am On Jan 17, 2011 |
you are missing the point You are the one missing the point here. It is not about the religious beliefs of both leaders. I go to church not because I can vouch for the libido or virtue of the priest. That is for him and God. The issue here is that Jonathan has never called on anyone to take a stand against another on the basis of religion. Buhari has. For Christ's sake you are making me look like a Jonathan apologist, which am far from. |

Politics / Re: Name The Most Corrupt Politicians Across Nigeria. by NewsMonste(m): 12:44am On Jan 17, 2011 |
President Jonathan is not our bedmate, but anyone putting him among most corrupt persons in Nigeria, is plainly on a personal vendetta. C'mon! lets be rationale please and let go of this sensationalism and excitement. No politician in Nigeria, USA or any other place is free from corruption, because they use political power to boost their businesses and those of their allies, unfairly. Yet we can differentiate between those that has reaped the nation apart and those or relatives that are barely mentioned in relatively insignificant scams. I think we all know where GEJ stands in this case 1 Like |
