Northern youths under aegis of the Arewa Youth Forum, AYF, on Sunday stormed the Synagogue Church Of All Nations. They showered praises on the Prophet of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and presented him with an Ambassador for Peace award.


“Prophet T.B. Joshua is a man with phenomenal vision. He shows a deep sense of compassion and unconditional love. Prophet T.B. Joshua is a blessing not only to us in Nigeria but also the international community. Prophet T.B. Joshua is the very first man of God that we are visiting and honouring.”




National Director of Public Affairs, Arewa Youth Forum, Benue chapter, Bello Abdulhamid, said TB Joshua deserves the award because of the love he has always demonstrated irrespective of barriers of race, religion, creed or ethnicity.


He added that, “Our independent assessment has shown that The SCOAN has been committed to provide not only for the spiritual but also for the physical well-being of people.”


”Fellow Nigerians, we are here because of the love we see in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua. We need love to come together as a nation. Where there is love, there is no killing, stealing or destruction. Where there is love, there is no segregation. Love is the solution to our problems in Nigeria”.

Festus Keyamo has sent proposals to the National Assembly on how to ensure speedy prosecution of corruption cases in the ongoing constitution amendment exercise.

“At the end of the day, the cases are lost because of the death of witnesses, loss of memory by witnesses, loss of exhibits, loss of interest and zeal by prosecutors and the aggrieved by effluxion of time, and the compromise of witnesses by the accused.”


Keyamo’s memorandum was titled ‘Proposal for constitutional amendment to address the delay in criminal trials in Nigeria’. Heexplained that the gesture was informed by the fact that “the delays in the administration of criminal justice in Nigeria, especially corruption-related cases, have become a notorious fact”.

The popular Lagos-based lawyer noted that prominent Nigerians, who are facing serious corruption cases, had devised ways of delaying their trials.

Keyamo identified preliminary objections as one of the strategies employed by defence counsel to undermine the prosecution of corruption cases.

He therefore canvassed an amendment of the Constitution to provide for a ban on stay of proceedings in corruption trials. Keyamo said: “It is very clear therefore that what needs to be done is to give constitutional flavor to a provision like section 40 of the EFCC Act which prohibits stay of proceedings in criminal matters. Once such a provision is supreme, no other law can defeat it.

“It is therefore my proposal that the constitution be amended to include a provision like section 40 of the EFCC Act. This section should be inserted after section 248 and should read thus:

“Notwithstanding anything contained in this Constitution, including Chapter IV of this Constitution, any person who exercises any right of appeal under this Constitution in criminal matters shall not be entitled to a stay of proceedings pending the determination of the appeal.”

Keyamo further suggested the introduction of the principle of suspended sentencing in the constitution.

He said, “Here the sentencing of the accused, after he is found guilty and convicted may be suspended pending the outcome of any interlocutory appeal.

“If the appeal succeeds, the charge is quashed but if it fails, the trial court or the Appellate Court may then go on to pronounce the sentence. By so doing, criminal justice is guaranteed.”

Now the ball is in the court of the National Assembly. Lets put pressure on them to do the right thing!

Billy Ray Harris, a panhandler in Missouri, grabbed the nation’s attention earlier this month after he returned a diamond ring that was mistakenly dropped in his change cup, KCTV reported. The inspiring story quickly went viral and Sarah Darling, the grateful owner of the ring, set up a fundraiser for Harris with her husband to show her appreciation. They collected more than $86,000 since Feb. 14 as of press time and will be personally giving the funds to Harris.
“I’m not sure of how you ended up in your situation, but after what I witnessed you do, I am most definitely sure that you are a honest man with a good heart,” Volanda Shields, a donor who gave $1,000, wrote on Harris’ GiveForward page. “Watching you on the news the other day brought tears to my eyes because I thought of what so many others would have done.”
Darling and her husband, Bill Krejci, remain in close contact with Harris and continue to share just how inspired they are by him and the way others have responded to the story.
“Words cannot express how it feels to be a part of something like this,” Krejci wrote on the GiveForward fundraising page.
But Harris, who was raised by his reverend grandfather, told KCTV that the decision to return the ring was an obvious one, and that he doesn’t actually think his actions warrant so much attention.

“What I actually feel like is,” Harris told KCTV, “what has the world come to when a person who returns something that doesn’t belong to him and all this happens?

ZIM: Drama at Bulawayo lodge as N*KED pr*stitute runs after client over payment There was drama at a Bulawayo lodge when an unidentified middle aged woman suspected to be a pr*stitute reportedly stormed out stark n*ked pursuing a client who had sneaked out without paying for the services rendered.



It is reported that the woman who stunned motorists, passersby, workers and other clients at the lodge was allegedly hired by the 'penny-pinching' man for an all-night s*x session. According to a witness, the melodramatic incident which is still the talk at the most frequented love paradise on the outskirts of the city occurred last Saturday.



The unperturbed thigh vendor who was in her chocolate-coloured 'birthday suite' was reportedly calling for help from passersby to help her apprehend the ungrateful client.



After realising that her client had outpaced her, the infuriated hooker was reportedly heard shouting: "I'm not for free. Today I want to teach a lesson the hard way".



An airtime vendor operating near the lodge who identified himself as Misheck said so aw-inspiring and disgusting was the spectacle of the commercial s*x worker who chose to publicly parade her body in pursuit of the seemingly scarce dollar.



"To tell you the truth, though the spectacle looked awesome to some male species, it was an embarrassing one to see a grown up woman who is not mentally retarded running down the streets stark n8ked pursuing a man who had defaulted payment. The woman was rescued from further embarrassment when some stunned women from a nearby flat approached her and gave her clothes to put on," said the airtime vendor.



Another source who witnessed the incident said the woman later narrated her ordeal.



"The woman said she entertained the guy and he had promised to pay her before leaving the lodge. She said she trusted the man as he sounded so innocent. Much to our surprise the hooker vowed to fix the man," said the source who only identified herself as MaMpofu
