Vieneese Stanton’s boyfriend proposed to her earlier this year and the couple was planning on getting married in April 2018.

She wanted to make sure that her whole family could be in attendance at the wedding especially her dad. Sadly, her dad has been diagnosed with leukemia and has been receiving chemotherapy.

Doctors told Vieneese and her family that her dad may not be able to hold on much longer. “The doctors have given him only a few weeks to live,” the bride said on Facebook. That’s when she made the decision to scrap any plan of getting married in April and have her wedding in her dad’s hospital.

She wanted to do it as a surprise for her dad and he had no idea what was going on until everyone got to the hospital. The bride credits the amazing staff at the hospital for helping her pull off the wedding.

Vieneese Stanton wanted to make sure that her dad would be present at her wedding.

“We have both dreamed of him walking me down the aisle to my groom,” she wrote on Facebook.

But with her dad’s deteriorating health, Vieneese wasn’t sure if he’d make it to her planned 2018 wedding.

Instead of waiting, the bride surprised her dad by having her wedding in his hospital.

“The doctors have given him only a few weeks to live so with the help of an AMAZING nurse team we were able to have a surprise wedding for my dad so he could attend,” she wrote on Facebook.

Family and friends came to her dad’s hospital and shared in the bride and groom’s special moment.

Even though it was such short notice, the bride knew it was the right thing to do.

“This was one of the best moments of my life,” she wrote on Facebook. “This man has raised me since I was 3 years old and now I get the chance to be there for him.”

Instead of having a wedding in April 2018, Vieneese and her groom moved the date up to November 2017 so that her dad could take part.

“These were my legs from mid March this year, I was poisoned (Africa vugu) earlier this yr but it started manifesting after my birthday in March 8th. ..someone tried to kill me…pain is an understatement to what I went thru, 3 times I saw myself dying, hospitals couldn’t do anything for me, no medicine worked, for months I was bedridden but only extremely closed people to me knew, while I posted pictures on social media with my legs all covered up just not to give that evil person the pleasure of the suffering I was going throu, I was fighting for my life but it was a fight of faith….. only my faith in God saved my life, God came thru for me, the reason for the thanks giving I held a few weeks ago, after I got better and could use my legs again, I left the country….. whoever did this to me will see this post, so hear me well, don’t try anything against me again, for your own good, please, don’t try it again, because if you do, you and everyone that plotted will lose their lives for it…. I’m a child of God and that is a very big deal, don’t try the God that I serve.
