The on going storm water project for Uwelu East starts at Uwelu Powerlines by Adolo College road through Uwelu spare parts mkt, Evbuotubu through Ekenwan road to Ogba river a total length of over 7 km comprising of both trapezoidal drains, single and double cell box culverts at different sections. Those HOLES as u call it are foundation trenches for these concrete structures. For that length of construction and with the bad state of the economy (where money is not available for work for months and don't forget that very rich states like Delta, Akwa Ibom who don't have such gigantic projects can't even pay saries for months) about two or three buildings after Ogidan barracks are some metres away from the eroding trenches and this is not unexpected. As of last week work is on going at both Evbuotubu axis by Norman Edwards schools and close to the beginning by Adolo College road. My friend do ur research and SAY NO TO HEARSAY

The road in question is a federal one reportedly constructed during the last admin. This same connects Benin to Ore to Shagamu to Lagos.

Is it only that road. Inside New Benin, Ugbo road, Ekenwan road are federal road too abi?

The problem with Benin is no proper drainage system. Oshiomole collected 150 billion nairn as loan for erosion control and heavy drainage project. Today non of the project is up to 20% in progress. He worsten the whole case by digging abandon holes everywhere and those holes are collapsing. Oshiomole is a scam.

This Justice Okon Abang is APC certified. The same man that declared Sheriff authentic is the same man that ruled in Abia Governor Akpeazu tax clearance. Instead of him to hear from the accused, he quickly made judgement without hearing the accuse.

He is planted there by Buhari, APC and Co.

Ize-Iyamu takes campaign to Edo North as he receive large crowd. Edo north which is a senatorial district of Oshiomole and PDP state chairman Dan Orbih. Most of the roads in the town is currently block due to the high crowd.

The Anglican Bishop of Owerri, Bishop Cyril C. Okorocha has rejected the N200, ooo donation of Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, as gathered by this medium the Money was given to the Church by the governor at the diocesan synod of the Anglican Communion that was held at St John’s Anglican Church, New Owerri.

While rejecting the money, the Anglican Bishop lambasted Governor Okorocha for inflicting sufferings on the people of Imo State through non-payment of their salaries and his “inhuman policies”.

Represented at the Synod by one Mr. Obinna Aharanwa, Okorrocha said the donation was to help the church in its development a donation which the Anglican Bishop rejected on basis that the Church will not want to share in the blame for governor’s non-payment of salaries and other financial predicaments which the State is facing at the moment.

Ahead of the September 10, 2016 governorship election in Edo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has picked a former local government chairman in Esan North East Local Government, Hon John Yakubu, as running mate to its governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The decision was taken Saturday in Benin at a meeting held at the residence of a former Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih.

Recalled that the PDP had earlier zoned the position of the running mate of its governorship candidate to the Edo Central senatorial district.

The meeting had in attendance notable politicians from the Edo Central, who had been touted as likely running mates such as Hon Friday Itulah, Hon Akhere Ugbesia, Hon John Yakubu, Hon Felix Akhabue, Mrs. Philomena Ihenyen, and Felix Imosili.

The governorship candidate of the party, Pastor Ize-Iyamu; Edo State chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih and leaders of the party across the three senatorial districts of the state were also at the meeting.

It was gathered that a consensus agreement was reached to pick Yakubu as running mate as majority of the leaders of the party endorsed his candidacy.

Meanwhile some youth who have been drumming up support for the Prince Odi Okojie, the husband of the famous movie actress Mercy Johnson Okojie, has been protesting the selection of Mr. John Yakubu who is seen as one of the most popular politician in Esan land, having served meritoriously as the Chairman of Esan North East Local Government.
