Cross Riverians have been one of the most peaceful people in Nigeria and honestly, this is a very situation that needs to be properly investigated and laid to rest permanently. Despite losing their status as oil producing states following the bakassi wahala, they have always been maintaining their cool. Fed govt needs to set up a high powered committee to investigate the remote and immediate cause of this bloodshed. |
Greenville990:The cost of solar equipment that can generate 1kva (same power as I-pass-my-neighbour) is not affordable to average Nigerians, hence the use of fossil fuel powered gen. The environmental hazards posed by this set-up can still be managed and a good way of doing that is by simply avoiding the fumes and noise. This is achieved by keeping them fairly far away from living apartments. This is where we are getting it wrong. Note, the use of domestic electric power gens is a common feature of most developing countries like Nigeria. I don't subscribe to all the characteristics empty noise about non-use of gens in advanced countries some dry heads are posting on the thread. |
bantudra:Abeg, tell me how the economy works that will make a currency that is not even a legal tender to compete favourably with a global currency. |
omenka:Just wait and see, Saminu Turaki will soon be one of their numerous heros. Note, Dasuki, Alex Badeh, Obanikoro and a host of other arrested criminals being tried are already heros. |
OP, tell us wetin happen. I know the Nigerian police extort but with excuse. The one you narrated here is not even a crude excuse. If you say something like "they demanded for the receipt of your expensive phone", I will understand. |
OP, pls edit the topic to 10 states with the most ugly ladies. |
I swear you are very right. Most of these advanced countries earn a lot from tax but in Nigeria, you only get bothered about tax clearance when you are involved in one formal application where tax certificate is required. Anything short of that, you can spend the whole of your life in Nigeria without paying a dime in the name of tax, yet we want to be better than US Canada France Germany combined. |
Get them all, mad corruption dogs can continue barking till eternity. |
tobrinskilanski:E really pain am. But it doesn't rule out the fact. Na dem. |
tit:At your old age, instead of attending schools in adult and non formal education, you are here accusing a married woman of what you do with your Aba made English. What makes you think every woman lives the kind of life you live? |
Jungleluv5:Dem. |

Aragon:Do you blame him? He has followers he wants to lead astray and when jungle finally matures, as you have rightly said, he will fly out of the country. As you have also asked, what exactly does he intent to achieve with all these? If the hausas and ibos start fighting in the north now, he has nothing to lose because he neither owns properties nor live in the north, but the ibos who stand the chance of losing lives and properties (also the hausas of course) are his most faithful followers taking every inciting rubbish coming out of his putrid mouth. Anyway, observing. |
Criminals masquerading as senators. Anyway, if Magu is removed, you can continue with your stealing, afterall some brain dead animals prefer it that way. |
FFK, stop heating up the polity more thereby leading people astray. What exactly do you want to achieve? For Igbo to start moving in mass? By so doing, who do you think you are actually helping? You sit down in the comfort of your house instigating crisis because you stand to lose nothing. Anyway, ipobs worship you, nothing concern me. |

The incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons (fuel) emits very poisonous gaseous substance called carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide constitutes more than 80% of fumes and when inhaled for a fairly long time especially when asleep, you get suffocated as blood progressively gets depleted of its oxygen with carbon monoxide in its place. Pls, keep generators far away from living apartments at all times not just when going to bed. Also, discourage the use of high fuming gens. RIP to the departed |
invincible007:Lie. Very few NCOs are commissioned as officers. Majority of officers are either DSSC or Regular. |
Ozavize88:This name sounds ebira, are you related to okene, Adavi or Okehi LGA? |
