Benin City is a city and the capital of Edo State in southern Nigeria. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the Benin River and 320 kilometres (200 mi) by road east of Lagos. Benin City is the centre of Nigeria's rubber industry, and oil production is also a significant industry.
One of her own Anita Iseghohi (born Anita Queen Uwagbale) is a Nigerian businesswoman and former beauty queen.
Edo-native Iseghohi spent most of her early years in Lagos until she gained admission into Madonna University, Port Harcourt to study Accountancy. As an undergraduate, Iseghohi was crowned Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2004, enabling her to take part in Miss Universe and Miss World later in the year. At Miss World 2004 Anita placed among the top 15 semi-finalists and was named African Continental Queen of Beauty. As MBGN, Iseghohi's platform was Environmental Pollution.

Iseghohi is married to businessman Tom Iseghohi, whom she met halfway through her reign as MBGN. Following a registry ceremony in America, the couple had a society wedding in Lagos in 2008, and are now the parents of two sons and one daughter. In 2009, he was accused of embezzling from NITEL shareholders; the charges were later dropped.
Iseghohi continued to study in America while running her businesses which include motherhood retail chain The Baby Store. In May 2011, Iseghohi's baby store opened in the Chase Mall Chase Mall, along Ademola Adetokunbo street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria

Bayelsa is a state in southern Nigeria in the core Niger Delta region, between Delta State and Rivers State. Its capital is Yenagoa. The main language spoken is Ijaw with dialects such as Kolukuma, Mein, Bomu, Nembe, Epie-Atisa, and Ogbia. Like the rest of Nigeria, English is the official language. She was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria by 2012 MBGN Queen Isabella Ayuk in 2013 and represented Nigeria at the 2013 Miss World pageant. She was appointed Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Governor Henry Dickson upon her reign. In 2014, she made her acting debut in the Super story family drama. In 2015 Beauty Queen Miss Anna Banner gave birth to a baby whose father is Nigerian musician Flavour N'abania and her name is Sophia Okoli

Located in the Niger Delta, Cross River State occupies 20,156 square kilometers. It shares boundaries with Benue State to the north, Ebonyi and Abia States to the west, to the east by Cameroon Republic and to the south by Akwa-Ibom and the Atlantic Ocean.

Isabella Agbor Ayuk (born 28 November 1986) is best known for stirring controversy based on age grounds shortly after winning the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2012. Originally scheduled to represent her country at Miss World 2012, she later became Nigeria's delegate to Miss Universe 2012. Also Omotu Bissong (born Cecilia Ohumotu Bissong) a Nigerian model, television presenter, and actress. In 2003, Bissong – then credited as Celia Bissong – made history by becoming the first Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria winner from the South-South (While Regina Askia had held the title in 1989, she did not actually win). Her platform was HIV/AIDS Awareness, and Tourism Promotion, and her reign saw her compete at Miss Universe and Miss World.
7. Plateau
Plateau is the twelfth largest state of Nigeria, and is located approximately in the center of the country. It is geographically unique in Nigeria because its boundaries surround the Jos Plateau, having the entire plateau in its central and northern part. The capital is Jos.
Plateau State is celebrated as "The Home of Peace and Tourism", an image that had been fractured in previous years by Muslim-Christian clashes in the state but is now recovering as socio-economic activities are now thriving as well as a growth in population in the state. Plateau State gets its name from the Jos Plateau. It has a population of around 3.5 million people.

6. Lagos
Lagos, sometimes referred to as Lagos State to distinguish it from Lagos Metropolitan Area, is a state located in the southwestern geopolitical zone of Nigeria. The smallest in area of Nigeria's 36 states, Lagos State is arguably the most economically important state of the country, containing Lagos, the nation's largest urban area. It is a major financial centre and would be the fifth largest economy in Africa, if it were a country.
The actual population total is disputed between the official Nigerian Census of 2006, and a much higher figure claimed by the Lagos State Government. Lagos State is located in the south-western part of the Nigerian Federation.
One of her own Rihole Gbinigie was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 1993. She represented Lagos state in the competition.
5. Borno
The state is dominated by the Kanuri. Other smaller ethnic groups such as Lamang, Babur and Marghi are also found in the southern part of the state. Shuwa Arabs are mainly the descendants of Arab people and is an example of the endurance of traditional political institutions in some areas of Africa, where the emirs of the former Kanem-Bornu Empire have played a part in the politics of this area for nearly 1,000 years.
 
The current Kanemi dynasty gained control of the Borno Emirate in the early 19th century after the Fulani jihad of Usman dan Fodio. Conquered by Rabih in 1893, Borno was invaded by the British, French and Germans at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1902, the British officially incorporated Borno into the Northern Nigeria Protectorate[5] and established a new capital at Maiduguri or Yerwa in 1907, which remains the capital to this day.
It will surprise a lot of people how Borno smuggled into the list. It is important to point out that the state has no history when it comes to beauty pageant, however, there are a lot of beautiful girls
The Shuwa-arabs could be found in Borno and Yobe states in Nigeria. They could also be found in other northern states in the country. They are a minority group in Nigeria. Some of them are found in neighboring countries like Cameroon and Chad.It is pathetic that when people mention Shuwa-arabs, what come to their minds are the dirty, hunger-stricken children seen on some streets in the northern parts of Nigeria. There are the also the good looking and educated ones amidst this ethnic group in Nigeria.
