One of the few people that I support their stand on this is Seun Kuti. #Endsars is more or less like a fight between political elites and social elites - Seun was right in my opinion.We are here today because of one attitude that is common to all Nigerians - E no concern me. And in many cases we stupidly complain about a particular thing knowing fully well that nothing is working in the country. Why do we always complain about a particular thing since we know nothing is working in the country?Tell me one thing that is working in this country please?
Look at the Okada riders, bus drivers, market women etc will all patronize one way or the other. The govt sponsored thugs frustrate them and some don't seem to know their right. Why can't we include everyone in this fight I am not saying Sars affect the middle class alone but from the protest one can deduce that they are probably the major victims because of what SARS can get from them.Why not go back to the foundation of our problems why not protest against bad roads and bad governance in general? I am indifferent to the SARS protest with the following reasons:
- Sars atrocities is a product of bad governance let us end bad governance instead of SARS alone.I know we can start from somewhere and Endsars is not a bad idea. But if SARS is disbanded police atrocities wont stop just give it1 or 2 two years it will resurface again- It is a product of bad governance and there is nothing you can do if you don't stop the root causes of it.Wise people solve problem from the root cause of the problem.

I witnessed live how a very big mall was looted for more than 24 hours and no one to stop them.I smiled and cry for the owner of the mall and for the future of my country. I was seeing looting and robbery but the looters were seeing an opportunity to take what belongs to them from the corrupt system irrespective of who owns them.A neighbor heard the looters as they are walking by with looted items saying this is where people that steal our money live which is totally wrong everybody is only trying to survive here as well.I saw people of all ages both males and females looting confidently. But it is not looting to them it is taken what belongs to them using the opportunity of the curfew.

The protest has turned into a clash between the poor and the middle class/upperclass.People have been made so poor to the extent that they have lost their social values. THIS WHOLE LOOTING IS ABOUT POVERT FIGHTING BACK. THIS IS INEVITABLE LIKE I SAID TO MY FRIEND.

Let's hope things returned back to normal but poverty will surely strike back if we don't end bad governance.There is too much poverty in the land all because of bad governance. Nigeria is hopeless and helpless.

Please I want to know if IT Certification is allowed for evaluation with WES Canada. I have Oracle Certified Web component Expert and I have checked WES website but couldn't find anything.

Depends on what stage of the Canada Express Entry you are - are you in the pool? Do you have a relatively high CRS score? How old are you? etc.

I could list the pros and cons of both options, but not to derail this thread that is dedicated to tier4 hopefuls. However, the bottom line is that Canada Express Entry is cheaper and you'll be getting near citizenship rights from the start, while it'll take at least 5 years to acquire similar rights in the UK.

In my opinion, the only reason for a choice of the UK study option above Canada express Entry is if your CRS score is irredemably low, especially if it is on account of age.

You can check other threads on Canada immigration. You will get more resources there. It is a very critical time here on this thread as we're mostly waiting (anxiously) for decisions on our applications.

@inphoenix Many thanks for your response. I am actually 30 and would turn 31 soon which really affect my score for Express Entry. But personally I will prefer the UK if student job to pay my bills is certain. Currently in Germany right now and student job that will pay your bill is certain here. So I am more concerned if it is very likely to get a student job that will foot my bills.

Please I am about to choose between Canada(Express Entry) and going for my masters in the UK. I have only got my school fees of about 10,000 pounds. This means I would have to hustle for my feeding, accommodation and other basic needs. I want to enrol for M.Sc in data science and I have over 5 years of experience in the IT industry. Now, my questions are:
1. How easy is it for me to get student job (could be any kind of job just to survive)
2. Cheap cities with easy of getting student jobs
3. Prospect of getting job after M.Sc in Data Science

UK is a good place but the cost of living is high and most cases when one is done with his/her program they toss u out. For me Canada is better but since you're in the IT route u should consider Germany, tons of opportunities there. Goodluck chale

If wifey is less than 29, she has at least 2 years experience (5 years is better). She can write ielts general and score 7.0 throughout. And you can also write a post graduate diploma, there is this one for IT professionals that WES recognize. And u Max out your IELTS u will be on 475. Last draw they did yesterday, they picked people with at least 472, which means u are ok. You will lose points when u lose 5 points once u enter 31, but u still have a very good chance as points will drops. You also can gain points depending on your wife's qualifications, work experience. I don't have all d calculations, but I know u have a decent chance. If u migrate n decide to do your masters in Canada, you only pay instate tuition.


If fact if your wife has a masters or post graduate diploma, and 3 years experience n not more than 29. You guys would be swimming in the 480s points as she will be the principal applicant.

The first picture, check upper right corner. That's your potential point. The second picture is if your wife is the principal applicant based on d scenario I described, your points could balloon into 483, well above the cut off.

At the bolded, I actually believe learning on the job would be better and M.Sc data science is like just buying a degree. I have checked the course content and most of the technology you be taught can be learnt online or on the job. But I just want to use it to enter the country and stay. My concern is how much can a student make to pay their bill. In Germany, you can make 800€ a month depending on how much you want to work. Although in small cities it could be tough to get a job in Germany as well. But city like Munich, Berlin etc you can make over 1000€ a month if you want to.

Honestly why must it be this two countries? What about other countries in Europe. Have you tried Germany plus Germany has more IT jobs than the UK. You can view the job market on indeed and LinkedIn jobs.

Good point but I am currently in Germany right now and it is tough getting a good professional job if you don't speak the language. That Germany has more IT jobs than the UK I doubt that unless a fact pointing to that. Based on my IT jobs search in both I have noticed there are more IT jobs in the UK than Germany. Economy generally Germany is far better.The service sector is the king of the UK economy I guess the reason they have more jobs in the IT.

do express entry . when you get to Canada you go for your masters . As a PR you pay same fees with citizens so its cheaper.
