Arrewa:
Hypocrisy of Southerners!

When the excessive killings of zamfara was still on; you didn't call it jihad or genocide against the indigenous muslim communities. But since it has now turned to the Christain communities of kaduna State. You're now sugar-coating your pen to suite your narratives that portrays the southern kaduna killings as a planned genocide been sponsored by Muslim elites.

Factually, nobody is happy with the dialy killings that's happening with kaduna south citizens. But how do you expect me to support you when your long article paints me as the sponsor of the menace? Or are you intentionally calling it a genocide against Christainity to get the Muslims angry and use the bashing comments they'd rain on you to affirm your assertion?

When terrorists attack a Muslim dominant community; Most of the victims would surely be muslims. Like wise, if they attack a Christain dominant population; Majority of the victims would be Christains. The war is neither muslims against Christains nor Christains against Muslims. But a war between humans and cannibals.

I guess you're calling this a genocide of cleansing Christains due to the fact that a Muslim is ruling the the country. But did you call the 2010 to 2015 killings of Borno aboriginal Muslims a genocide to cleanse Islam? How about sokoto and katsina State menace? Is it a genocide against Christains also?

Insecurity has forsaken our country. But instead of us to raise our collective voices to condemn it and call the attention of the the government to curtail it; we are busy throwing shades at each other and playing the usual blame game. Infact, some Imbeciles are even happy about it since it'd be a means for them to further spread hate and cause havoc within the northern population.

Whether it's a genocide or not. We strongly condemn it and call the attention of the relevant authorities to unveil a fight against it.

My thoughts and prayers are with southern kaduna, kastina and zamfara citizens. I pray this come to an end. I pray that: smile shines out your rues sooner. I pray your land regains it peace and freedom.
And also they never blame plateau and benue governors over the incessant killings in their states but will be blaming el-rufai over the killings in southern kaduna, that is southerners for u.

In Rivers, after Portharcourt, is there any other urban area?

In Kano, after the capital city Kano, is there any other urban area worth mentioning?

But in Anambra, after the capital city Awka, you can still mention two huge urban areas of Onitsha and Nnewi

Thats how you know that Kano and Rivers cant compare to Anambra in terms of development

Lagos and Abuja are former and current capital territories respectively and recieved massive government investment that made both what they are. No state can compare to both in terms of development

However, besides Lagos and Abuja, there is no state in Nigeria that can claim to be more developed than Anambra

Development is not how large your state is or the size of its IGR. Its all about infrastructure on the ground.

Anambra could be the only state in Nigeria that has 3 cities, Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka.

Outside the two capital territories, no state in Nigeria can claim to be more developed than Anambra

AbujaPress reports that Hanan, one of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari, is set to marry Mohammed Turad, a special adviser to former Lagos State governor and current Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola.

The marriage, this online news platform understands, is billed to take place on September 4, 2020, according to a report by SaharaReporters.

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has directed for the construction of N400million National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, Study Center in Gusau, the state capital.

Mr Matawalle, who gave the directive on Thursday when he paid a working visit to the National Headquarters of the University in Abuja, also pledged to sponsor an initial 200 students into the institution.

The governor said his decision to take this bold step was born out of his desire to fast track the development of education in the state, pointing out that his administration was committed to building a virile youth for the future of the state.

“I am convinced that NOUN is the right institution to assist in that direction because it is not hindered by bottlenecks peculiar to tertiary education system in this country,” Mr Matawalle observed.

He stated that his administration would continue to sponsor students into the University as it has proven itself as a viable avenue of acquiring quality education without hurdles in the country.

“Since my assumption of office, I have sponsored 200 qualified students abroad to study critical areas of medical and technology courses where the state is in dire need,” Mr Matawalle revealed.

According to him, his administration’s commitment towards transforming the educational sector in the state informed the allocation of the highest fund to the sector in the 2020 appropriation Bill.

Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, said the University’s programs are fully online – from the admission process, registration study to even the conduct of examinations.

“Your Excellency, as at today, we have completed our first semester examination despite lock down arising from the pandemic of COVID-19. This is because the bulk of our business is conducted online,” Mr Uba-Adamu said.

While stressing that human capital development was important for development of the North Mr Uba-Adamu appealed to Northern governors and stakeholders to sponsor students to the University.

“As at today, the whole of the three geopolitical zones on the Northern hemisphere of the country have only 17,000 students compared to South Western state which, alone, has 37,000 students.

“Of the over 400 lecturers we interviewed for employment recently, only nine applied from the North,” the V-C lamented.

He, therefore, commended Mr Matawalle for being the only governor who personally visited the University.

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has earmarked N2.5 billion for the development of Wawa/Zange grazing reserve in Gombe.

Dr Musa Inuwa, the Director in charge of the Gombe office of the ministry disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Gombe on Friday. He said the money earmarked was for the construction of boreholes, veterinary clinics, schools, hospital among other social amenities in the grazing reserve.

He said the Wawa/Zange grazing reserve occupied 130 hectares out of which five hectares were used for the planting of pastures now ready for grazing.

The director said that the reserve was among the largest grazing reserves in the country.

He said Gombe government handed it over to the Federal Government as part of its contribution to curb the menace of farmers /herders clashes in the state.

Mr Inuwa said that shortage of water in the reserve remained a serious problem, adding that there were three earth dams but only one was functional, the remaining two were distressed.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Muhammadu Nanono, sought the support of Gombe government to develop the reserve in the National Livestock Transformation Scheme.

The minister said Wawa-Zange project was one of the key projects of the Federal Government for the North East.

CrimeMuslims Raise Alarm On Killings At Roadblocks In Southern Kaduna by Niceman12(op): 8:50pm On Jul 27, 2020
The Muslim Youth Foundation of Southern Kaduna (MYFOSKA) at the weekend alleged series of isolated killings of their members who are either on transit or in the process of carrying out their legitimate business in parts of Southern Kaduna.

Daily Trust reports that parts of southern Kaduna have been enmeshed in killings by gunmen as well as attacks and counter-attacks between farmers and Fulani herders.

The latest attack on Zikpak led to the killing of nine people in Jema’a local government.

However, a statement issued by MYFOSKA and signed by its National Chairman, Mohammed Kabir Bello, stated that Muslims have found themselves in the middle of a guerrilla attack and silent killings in different parts of Southern Kaduna.

“Whenever there is a rumour of any form of attack in the area, the Muslims become victims, roadblocks will be mounted and any Muslim on transit will be killed,” he said.

The group said five people were ambushed and killed in July including the former Secretary to the District Head of Dangoma, Sallau Musa, who was killed while on his way from Kafanchan to Dangoma on July 22, 2020. “This brings the total number of more than 100 people killed while on transit since 2016,” the group said.

EducationMatawalle Donates N100m To JIBWIS For Construction Of Islamic University by Niceman12(op): 9:20pm On Jul 13, 2020
Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has donated the sum of N100million to the Jamaatu Izalatil Bidah Wa Ikamatul Sunnah, JBWIS, for the construction an Islamic University in Jigawa State.

A statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Zailani Bappa, quoted the governor as making the donation on Monday when the leadership of the group under Sheikh Bala Lau paid him a courtesy call at the Government House.

Mr Matawalle said nothing was too much for the development of education, especially an Islamic education.

He, therefore, called on other state governors and wealthy individuals to support the initiative as, saying that JIBWIS is a trustworthy group genuinely out to help the development of mankind.

“Today, we have become a fragmented society, hating one another. We have become vulnerable to bad people who are all out to use us against ourselves to achieve their selfish goals,” Matawalle observed.

The governor observed further that the problems of banditry and kidnappings have become rampant in the region, attributing the phenomenon to lack of love among Northerners.

According to him, the people of the region no longer love themselves and have become easy prey to machinations of the bad eggs among ourselves.

“I have done what I could to establish peace in my state. I will continue to do more to save our people from any evil.

“You as scholars must do more to educate our people as proper education is the bedrock of responsible society,” Mr Matawalle told the visiting leaders of the group.

Earlier, Sheikh Bala Lau told the governor that his team was in the state to inspect a school donated to the group by a former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, at Shinkafi Town.

This represents a 15.8% jump quarter on quarter and 41.5% jump year on year. No other state comes close.

Edo State was however second year on year recording a growth of 36.8% to 4.3 million internet subscribers. Katsina was also recorded the fastest growth quarter on quarter followed by Sokoto State.

According to the data from the NBS, the total number of internet subscribers in Nigeria as at the first quarter of 2020 is 136, 203, 231. Maryam graduated with a First Class Honours in Law from the prestigious Queen Mary University of London. She matched her beauty with even more beautiful brain.

You know, children are gifts from God almighty. All children are created differently. Some are brilliant while some others are not due to uncountable factors.

Some children are more brilliant but due to economic factors, they cannot implore the life needed to achieve what being brilliant can bring to the table.

See this Maryam issue now as an example, she's beautiful in the first place. They are many more beautiful girls that are more brilliant than her but very poor. They cannot afford daily needs specifically, food, let alone going to school to identify her brilliance.

May God bless us all so that we can stand firm behind our children to sponsor to a height where they can achieve their impending brilliance!

Usman is a graduate of Regent University, London. He has a fitness page where he posts his workout pictures. He is quite popular on Instagram showing off his 'pretty boy' looks and biceps. Dude really looks like a Hollywood star.

In 2016, Usman called out two ladies whom he said were spreading false news that he was in a relationship with them. He debunked these rumors, and warned the ladies in question to desist from spreading such tales about him.

He seems like a reserved guy though, as most of his pictures were taken either in his car or his house. He rarely takes pictures with friends as well. But, his Instagram page is really lively.
