Igboid: I think Ndiigbo should encourage minorities to make Niger Delta republic work, as far as they keep Egbema, Obiigbo,Isobo(Cross River) and Aniocha/Oshimili out of it until a referendum is conducted in those parts of Igbo land.
I seriously believe Niger Delta republic can work if they adopt the Switzerland confederation structure. They can be divided into the following federations:
1. Ijawland.
2. Edo/ Edoid land (Including Urhobo, Isoko, Ika, Ikwerre, Ekpeye, and any other Bini claiming group out there)
3. Ibibio ( including Oron,Ibeno, Efik)
4. Northern Cross River confederation ( involving all non Ibibiod groups in Cross River central and North)
They will have four different presidents for each confederation all belonging to a presidential council where by one of them are chosen as ceremonial president in four year rotation tenure where the other three retain the post of VP at confederation level but remain president of their own federation.
They will also have four capitals.
1.Benin City for Edoland
2.Kolokuma for Ijawland( This is because Yenegoa is still under contention by the Binis, maybe Ijaws can do exchange with Bini, in which they let go Olodiama for Bini to let go Yenegoa.
3. Calabar for Ibibio land
4. Ogoja for Northern Cross River.
Problem here will only be Ijaw and Edo expansionist agenda. Ijaw is already claiming Ibeno and Eastern Obolo, which are obvious Ibibio territories, while Edo are claiming Yenegoa, Gelegele(Olodiama kingdom) which would pitch them against the Ijaws.
These problems are not something they can't resolve in matured table deliberation and negotiations.
God bless Niger Delta republic. hey I... When I sponsored the group I didn't figure it'll get so out if hand... We could create what we want instead of waiting for it to marginalize.. https:///IwZsu6nOF90CDY1IvBaR3j join the group |

allcomage: My understanding of the new Biafra is that every tribe will have its Parliament, premier and control and manage their resources. I don't know why it's difficult for people to understand. You keep on talking of Igbo domination, in which ways are Igbo dominating presently? United you stand divided you fall. Without the cooperation of other ethnic groups in Eastern Nigeria, it will take Igbo a while to get independence but without Igbo, other easter ethnic groups will never in a million years achieve independence. The exploited know this and that's why they keep on sowing seed of discord. each tribe?? How does someone give each of our hundreds of tribes premiers? Silly.. our Government cannot be the same.. |

Ahamefuna0001: @NigerDeltaRep
I thought you had something in mind to discuss when creating this thread? Why sit in the sideline watching your thread been derailed? I had wanted to say something... But I felt I should allow everyone bare their minds.. since they've really not been given a chance to do so before...At least on a scale of "Niger Delta" |
