lol 9ja and fetish beliefs again  some tribes i think wear it for almost every girl(maybe now such cultures dont exist ) iN GHANA,its a norm to wear every baby girl a bead.why they said thats what makes them different from men. right here in 9ja yet some tribes wear it too,the tivs and some parts of itsekiri.i wear mine cos i like them,been wearing since my teenage days sef,i use it to check my weight and more importantly cos it luks good on my waist.  i really dont know abt all those fetish stuffs  |

In my culture, th oshiwambo (Namibia) tradition, people believe that it helps to keep the stomach flat, which i think is not true, i dont wear beads, but my tummy is fine, and have so many friends who dont wear beads and yet their tummies are flat, some even after having givin birth. |
