Ma hair's natural. It's not totally kaffir hare (kinky african hair). It's soft to the touch and curly. . .plus I have it PRETTY short so I don't need to perm it! |
Re: What Perms Do You Use? by Dreloaded(f): 5:07pm On May 01, 2008 |
why would you refer to your hair as "kaffir" you sure you're nigerian? |
Re: What Perms Do You Use? by PrincessMo(f): 5:37pm On May 01, 2008 |
I'm half Nigerian, half Mosotho (from Lesotho) |
Re: What Perms Do You Use? by aloib(f): 3:44am On May 06, 2008 |
lol, i love ur type of hair, princes mo i used to rawk natural hair back in nigeria, it was just a lil bit curly, and i used to be on afroish curlish, got here and started haing all dse weird looks, so i had to relax it, when i wash it and add olive oil or moouse without combing, it becomes curly, so most times, its either i carry a ponytail or curls after washing or just flat iron it when its dry i'm thinking of making it into locs, but they aint got stuffs for african hair here |

Dark n lovely, last time i used creme of nature or sumin like that and while we are on this, can ANYBODY help me out? my hair has taken a stand against me and refuses to relax, the last two times, the thing just refuses to be as straight as it used to get, sure its not as curly as before, but people were askin if i was sure i retouched it the next day, and suggestions as to WHY this is happening? |

Re: What Perms Do You Use? by Nobody: 12:46am On Aug 05, 2012 |
Dark & Lovely and Optimum The best of the best!!! I perm my hair every two to three months. Those two get the job done. They are long lasting and compatible with any other products (esp. Oils). But honestly I am going to stop using perms altogether as my hair is better off without the perms and just the oil treatments/ deep conditionings. I will however continue to use their products though. |
