Hi Everyone,

Enough of all these adverts of car sales worth millions though we know that some priviledged Nigerians can afford them but Lets face it, Nigeria economy is not helping matters but despite this fact, government barnned cars that are over 8 years yet these cars are every where.

I believe that most Nigerians can't really afford to buy cars in the million range so let us not fool ourselves.

I help people bring in cars not more than 8years from U.S but my experience has shown that majority of Nigerians are not too financially buoyant to buy these expensive cars because any car less than 8 years are very expensive but every legitimate income earner in Nigeria is hoping to get cars within the price range of 500K to 900K.

When i saw the auto section of Nairaland and i also saw the different cars advertised in the range of millions, i new i had to do something to help and that is exactly what i am going to do.

Look here, i am not here for a joke, if you are really interested in buying a standard car that will make you say WOW!just send me an e-mail at support@diamondfield.net, diamondfieldng@yahoo.com or call 08023146046. (Please contact me only if you are serious about buying)

If you are interested, just call me and you will be glad you did, i will help you get a car within 400k to 900k that people will see and say na lie.

If you are also interested in getting any lovely Tokunbo cars less than 900k from RETIS INTERNATIONAL in Benin rep that are above 8years, please contact me.

You can even get a super clean honda halla down to your compound for as little as 750k and the best part is that you will have the chance to choose from several cars that will get you even confused. Enough of all these millions in the name of cars. contact me and you will be glad you did.

Be wise

make sure say you register the car for naija before them pay you full balance, because custom go fit seize the car and auction am off before them go fit say, Jack Robinson - if them catch them with Coutonou custom papers.

Few months ago, custom sieze a Year 2000 car wey dem manufacture for 1999 because na 1999 dey for the seat belt! Dem don auction the car finish and now the owner dey take lawyer fight a losing battle. A word is enough for the wise.

It is wise to obey our laws.

Hi,

Thanks for your response but lets ask ourselve this question;

How many Nigerians are using cars of 8years?

Look here bro, as i said, i help people bring in cars from U.S and i mean cars of 8 years or less but nevertheless i understand that many people are just wishing they could get cars that are just ok for them without spending their last.

Let me also give this vital information about car seizures. Customs get more adarmant in seizing vehicles that are dutable but smuggled in than these vehicles above 8years. They always believe that if you can buy a very expensive car for millions, why smuggle it in.

And take a look around, how many customs dey use cars of 8 years or less? The point is that if you want cars of 500k to 900k without crossing the borders, let me know, simple. I have people that have these cars in the country looking for buyers.

Bros, Let us be wise.

Hi,

Please don't get me wrong, you can buy from anybody, no problem at all but what i am saying is that if you are a car seller, please try to look for good cars within an affordable price range. Remember that cars are not luxuries but neccesities.

Thanks

I am always apprehensive of people who think they can achieve their goals by stepping down on others and tearing them down. I wish him all the best with his marketing strategy.

Hi,

Na wa for Nigerians, Who is tearing who down?

I bring in cars of millions and i never failed to state the obvious that some Nigerians can afford it. You need not get angry at the caption of the thread, i beg if i offend anyone with the way i started the thread, please forgive me.

You may not believe this but i dont think i can make so much money by selling cars of less than  a million but money is not everything.

What i am saying in essence is that let Nairaland car dealers try their best to advertise good cars of lesser price so that every Nairalander can have a car. Haba

Make una no crucify me o.

Toks2008,

Apologies accepted. Welcome to the nairaland community.

Your arrival was announced as if you were a hero ready to save buyers from "bad" dealers: you wrote:

When i saw the auto section of Nairaland and i also saw the different cars advertised in the range of millions, i new i had to do something to help and that is exactly what i am going to do.

Don't be surprised that people reacted negatively to such a statement.  The principle of "Live and Let Live" is a good one to espouse. You are free to choose your target customers, but let others choose theirs in peace.

Cheers,
J.

@Toks,
Speak for yourself. The so called cars of many millions sell faster these days. Some of those priviledged Nigerians you are talking about are on Nairaland incase you don't know. And not every one is doing illegitimate things. What is clear is that there are different segments in a market. Just face the segment you want to serve and don't criticise those serving other segments.

OK,

Thanks for setting me free so please if you need cars of 500k to 900k, please contact me and you are sure to get one. I have lots of friends who have brought in good cars from Benin rep and are ready to sell for good prices.

Let the oga jenju and viper man deal with the big cars, i will take care of the small ones.

Cheers

Ok Toks, this is your thread so here you have it.

1. List what you have right now for sale with VIN and pictures (nairaland culture).

2. The asking prices.

3. Your Nigerian point of contact.

4. And any collateral fees incurable from this Cotonou ordeal.

Haba,

We dey fight?

Unfortunately i don't have time for that. If any one is interested in buying a car from me, i simply give you the address to visit and you will see several cars to pick from.

So if you really need a car within that range, visit Afolabi Plaza at iyana iba bustop near Lagos state universty, ojo, Lagos(Ask for Genesis and tell him you are from Bode). And if you stay outside lagos, you can send someone on your behalf to check the cars for you.

I don't really dig accessing a car through pictures. I believe in reality.

As for VIN, please lets not decieve ourselves with this VIN stuff. Check any car you want to buy before making payments.

Thanks

I still insist that you people should stop this VINophilic atitude and check a vehicle properly before making payments, further more, not every vehicle has a carfax report so forget this vin issue and do proper examination.
Re: This Is Getting Outrageous; Enough Is Enough! by sultaan(m): 10:52pm On May 19, 2008
Toks2008 sellers will be glad to sell affordable cars to Nigerians, but the government believes a car is luxury.A good old car cost about $4000, shipping $1500, import duty N300k.Add those numbers together and you'll come up with a million easy. For a dealer, there is no logical reason to pay more in duty than you make as profit. You don't want to work to make money from those government agents at the port.
Refer to Jenju's example, there should be no reason for a Nigerian to be robbed of his property by the Nigerian agents. There should be nothing illegal with buying what you can afford fake drugs and narcotics are illegal why are they not auctioning seized ones.It will be more logical to destroy old dangerous cars then profit from it I can't say this item(you bought legally) is bad for you, seize it and sell it to another under the law; the law doesn't work like that. That is how you inhibit development as passed down by colonial masters.

Hi all,

Sorry to say this but you all couldn't help reflecting your inherent nature!

Majority of replies to this thread are full of spite and wanton criticisms, full of vile and bad blood.

You see a man who is ready to stand out and do something for good and all you can do is try to bring him down!

How many of you drive cars of any nature, ?

We need to be more supportive of each other and help our brothers, even if they thought of the bizz before you.

Please lets act like grown ups even if we're not really.
