Cultism: How do we tackle this menace in our educational system?

Cultism you all know how it started, the genesis. It was never intended to go wild and devilish like this says the originator: Prof. Wole Soyinka. It was like keghites before it was hijacked and demonised.

And this has done more harm not only to the nation by giving us a bad reputation iin the comitee of nations but has brought sorrows to families.

Many young and promising souls have been maimed and killed. Please what is the way forward, how do we tackle this cancer that has eaten deep into our fabric?

Can it be stopped? No.
How do you deal with it? No way
How to minimize it? Tell your children to beware of such stuffs in school.

Infact, I doubt if it will stop. Cultism in Nigeria's educational system can never stop: It's just another thing satan has taken as a full-time job.

HA so if we sanitise the educational system yet this demonic group will not be rooted out?

So you don't believe that?

Cultism has eaten deep into the educational system. I mean real deep because now Lecturers are patrons to cult groups. Likewise Police Inspectors, VCs etc. The females groups outnumber their male counterparts and they are deadlier.

I'll say there's no cure for that disease under the present administration. Those who r to help root-it out are evil themselves.
Its an hydra headed monster. A lot to be done.

*** Get rid of our leaders. there are corrupt and leading with bad examples.
*** Improve the educational system and make it more interesting. An idle mind is the devil's workshop
*** A lot more but it'll be a waste of time if the first point isn't dealt with.

For now, just tell your kids, brothers and sisters to beware.

It can be eradicated not at once but gradually by washing out those devilish elders and their baba isale and
then pass it into the law that anyone caught will be jailed for a particular term ANYWAYS this doesn't bother me as much as the sexual assault and abuse going on from the campuses to the workplaces. It's just so sad sad

I believe other schools can learn of the Vc of Unn. He has almost or even wipe out every one of them in campus. He planted a very strong school security that no student dear messes with. No lecture can talk to you without being afraid, You can work back to your hostel any time without fear. And the funniest thing is dat everybody calls Unn a female school.

obowunmi:

will there be any solution to this problem ?

only when students start getting busy with their books and parents monitor what their wards do while in school.

Improvement in security may also help in reducing the menace
