honestly,cant you make a point without resorting to insults??everyone isnt meant to line behind you and subsrcibe to your opinions you know,and verbal bullying doesnt work on an anonymous online portal

artistically, really nice visual depiction but connected with nollywood really dumb and pointless, my surmission is that of a foreigner who is trying to depict nollywood from his/her eyes

Sometimes Nollywood can be best summed up from the eyes of a stranger because some Nigerians do not see how it appeals to their base fears and desires and i think dude did a really nice job of illustrating that. You can line up where you want, mate.

maybe you r the one that should realise that,art is not something everybody agrees on,billions of people all over the world see a single monet or van gogh potrait in different ways,art is supposed to elicit debates and discussions and that is all d guy did,not a one way traffic mindset or meaning that u r giving to it,the pictures are his own depiction of nollywood not an african or nigerian's simple!

Guys please do read the article first before you jump into conclusions. The pictures where done by the photographer Pietr Hugo, thats his interpretation of Nollywood. You guys are giving nollywood way toomuch credit. They couldnt even pull this off lol.

sexyleamon, thank you for posting Genny to counter that pathetic and horrifying depiction of Nollywood. The person making those depictions has probably never been there before.

a costumier and make up arist was just advertersisng herself with those pictuers. i am surprised people didnt see through that gimmick. why were there no action pictuers and only those images?

The white man always wants to paint or give Africa a bad image.
I agree that Nollywood has so many flaws, but those pictures are not from any Nollywood films. In my own opinon, the actors and actresses are not Nigerian. Those pictures are just the works of make-up artistes in various movie sets. Pietr Hugo should tell us where he got those images from.
