@latch

anyway i will teach you how we prepare it in Ishan in Edo state because am not from Iboland.

INGREDIENT:Ogbono Grounded,
Crayfish grounded,Grounded dry chilli peppe or Grounded Cameroun peppe,meat, Smoke fish,stock, kpomo that's if you wish,Palm Oil,Maggi, Salt Water, Onion.

watch the meat very well, then place in a pot add enough water and onion, then allow to boil for 15-2mins,then pour the grounded ogbono into a bowl add the red oil, place it ontop the cover of the pot or u can melt it in the fire, allow to melt with the oil,then mix with ur peppe and grounded crayfish, wash the stock fish, smoke fish pour them inside the meat pot, allow to boil,then wash the kpomo then cut  into pieces, wash it with a sponge to make sure there is no sand inside and those black things inside, then pour the ogbono into the boiling meat,stir it to make sure it does not form mould, dont cover it up so that it wont be too watery.Allow to boil for 10mins, then add maggi and a little salt to taste. allow to boil for sometime.that is all.

NOTE: If you dont want it plain, you can add okro,ugu or ewedu leaf if you like.

hope you will undersatnd my explanations.

Boil ur meat, using the normal procedure for boiling meat, add sm oil into a pot n turn off d source of heat,add ur ogbono n stir continuously until it looks uniform without balls. Add the stock of the meat n stir,turn on the heat n keep stirring. It may thicken so, u can add water to brng it to ur desired consistency. Allow it to cook for 20 mins n keep stirring. Add ur meat,grounded pepper,onion,cray fish,salt n maggi to taste n allow to cook for about 10 minutes. At this juncture, u add ur ugu leaf,bitterleaf... And cook for 5 mins. Voila! Ur ogbono soup is ready
