You are right.  The devil is a liar and has lost the battle for our souls, he is fighting a lost cause in our lives.  I was particularly impressed with the use of prose and proverbial adages in conjuntion with scriptural passages to pass their message across.  This film is a must watch.

how did jesus deal with the reality of satan that tormented him in trial for 40 days in the wilderness?
