NL movie-watchers, have y'all seen AVATAR?

I have, and i got just one comment: That movie is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Watched it at Silverbird on boxing day; mehn i no fit shout! See, i ain't gonna start giving you the storyline and all that, i'm sure Yahoomovies does a better a job of it. . . . but this much i can tell you: James Cameron's latest hand-work will BLOW YOUR MIND!!

Chai, see cinematography, see effects, see action, see sorrow and grief, then come "love". . . . chai, chineke!!

Abeg, before una begin accuse me of being on Cameron's pay roll, just go watch the movie, then come post your comment. Me, i dey nomiate that movie for 2009 Best Movie of the year.

OK, I've seen the movie and trust me, it was worth EVERY dime i spent watching it!

Call it overhyped or whatever you want. . .the movie rockz, it was simple breathtaking, it's prolly the best animated movie of 2009. . Awesome special effects (the creatures looked so f**kn real, fast, moved too quick), good cast. James Cameron did an awesome job

One of the major reasons why you'd think its overhyped could be;

He produced/directed the "titanic" movie, which raked in millions. . So, forgive the american press for over-rating this one too, which by far raked in more cash then "titanic".

I must say this, while people fink Spielberg (hp i spelt thet right) is a legend, Cameron DID knock him off wiv this one!

lol . . . different strokes for different folks.

I thought 2012 was very disappointing, the CGI was not very convincing and the story was poorly put together and the characters did not connect with the audience.

Now Avatar? Probably the best movie of 2009. Everything from the lush CGI of an imaginary exotic planet to the cast to the delivery was solid all around. I give a 9 out of 10.

Saw it last night.
Obviousy it was the best release of the year. I have to say, Cameron outdid himself this time.
Plot was tight, 3D effects were mind-blowing, and the movie is guaranteed to keep you on your seat edge. That goes for most adventure movie buffs I would say.

I didn't see till date but like to see as per the friends went there and enjoyed 3d animated movie, i really like to go there because the appreciation is the fact which i heard from outsiders. We can not expect good effect on dvd and cds, lets see when i get the chance right now busy with the work and will surely get time in next few weeks.

All those that have not watched this movie should try and do so,cos its really mindblowing and very captivating.
Ova tight dey worry the movie,and its far,far better than 2012.

Great plot,nice and convincing effect as the animation/CGI is top drawer.The casting is . . . I coulda sworn i was watching Pocahuntas at some stage though.

The movie is a real trip. Movie of the year?? I certainly dont think so.

i just watched the movie into the new year. The 3d effects are mind blowing. like the effects are insane. This has to be the best movie i watched in the last 2 years. The director went insane on this movie and the storyline. Please if u have not seen this movie i recommend u go see it and please watch in on 3D format and nothing more.

Excellent. Awe-inspiring movie; felt the same way when i first saw Jurrasic park( in terms of special effects). C'maron didn't just nailed this, he knack am! Capiche

I couldn't wait for the movie to end o. The 3D effects made me nauseous . I literally wanted to vomit. Halfway through the movie I had to take off those glasses and watch it without them . Notwithstanding, it was an interesting movie. The concept of Pandora was brilliant. I got tired of seeing humans at a point. Female characters get on my nerves in movies but Neytiri was just awesome. I wish we could exchange worlds and fly on whatever those things are called.
