the gospels according to luke and mathew have each listed paternal fathers & grandfathers to this man who was born without a male intervention. and to make matters worse they have given contradictory grandfathers with only joseph d carpenter as d common father of jesus!

and this is supposed to be the word of God in which Jesus is one of the three? so the question is who among d three inspire mathew & who inspire luke? in d case of luke atleast he was honest enough 2 tell us in his 1st chapter he wasn't inspired of God. he wrote because others wrote & were believed. he being a doctor naturally better equiped 2 write than d fishermen who presided him. but i know some ppl will giv us an 'inspired answer'

Thought this was stale? Matthew has the geneology from Joseph, while Luke contains that from Mary. Joseph is son to Mary's dad, as in son-in-law. That's as simple as it gets, hope we don't get to bicker about this also.
