Even though Ojukwu is remembered for Biafra, I believe his lasting impact is Igbo unity. He united us with firm will and determination. This is much deeper than what he did during the pogroms, during the civil war and after it. It a higher way of assessing his impact on the Igbo people.

Aigbofa history is looking very favorably at Ojukwu. Look at this excerpt from The Economist. A reputable unbiased source for information.
