I think the right question should be, "would u allow ur "wife" wear this?"
Thought its married people who live together and therefore can influence things like this.

Pardon my ignorance. Sleep no gree come that's y.
Health / Re: Living With Aquagenic Priuritus (After-Bath Body Itch) by Nigeriangirl(f): 6:24pm On Jun 12, 2015
@Jonbee and everyone who's posted on this issue, u are all not alone. We r in this together...lol.

It's amazing to know that there's a name for the issue. I must confess ur case Jonbee is an extreme one with the anger and all. I've had this issue since I was a lil girl. First I remember I was in Secondary School and a boarder so u can imagine the living conditions. I would wake up earlier than the rest to go shower whilst the bathroom's dry and neat and all then I'd get back into the dorm, dry my feet on a rag and then jump on my bed to attend to the itching bout that always ensued.
This issue has persisted. My mom told me she had same issue as a young girl and changed sponges till the prob automatically stopped. My younger sis also experiences this but hers isn't as regular as mine.

The remedies listed by most people here have worked occasionally for me, stopped using sponges but a cotton face cloth and NEVER bath with cold water except on very hot nights and surprisingly, I don't itch on such days.

Now, the main reason y I googled the issue and then found this thread is cos I itch just for nothing, NOTHING!!! Mine doesn't just happen after a bath but almost anytime it pleases the irritant.

For instance, today's been a cold day and I have the flu so stayed home and wrapped myself up in a furry blanket and then the monster surfaced to the point it woke me from sleep.

I itch just by thinking of something irritating, not drying up my skin immediately after bath and standing right in front of a fan with the ac on as well and my feet on a towel to dry them and then sometimes for no just reason.

You guys have been of great help to me this evening and I'll make out time to see a doc as I don't want to use self medication to avoid harming myself.

Thank you so much guys and pardon me for my epistle. We shall overcome!

SURElee:
I have some questions I need you to truthfully answer to set yourself free. Cos the truth would set you free anD advice:
1: has your husband being violent with you in the past? While dating, courting or previously in d marriage? I find it odd that for aa wallet aa man wud push and injure hias wife's head and buy u gifts to make for it. Woman, if u'd died from that fall, wud you have worn those gifts in the grave?

2: I believe there's more to this story, no raaemorse from your MIL. If this had happened To her own daughter, wud she have distanced herself?

3: listen and listen real good, if you're in an aabusive marriage, speak up and don't die there like Titi who was killed by her Arowolo husband. Many women keep quiet and suuffer Katherine Obiang kept quietabout the domestic Abusive from her husband(frank edoho) for years and finally he man left and married another lady without finalising his divorce with her.

4: One thing I know is once violence starts in any form, it continues so watch and should you choose to accept clothing and trinkets as gifts after domestic battery, its your choice at the end of the day.
Communication is still the best method for conflict /dispute resolution.

SURElee, God bless u. I think there's been history of physical abuse or wahala dey plenty cos nickibarb mentioned telling him she was tired of "fighting", cam't remember the exact word.
To each their own but for me, before marriage and even few months into mine, i was all for staying in it for better or worse till death... till i saw death actually calling with all the attendant health challenges i developed while forming WONDER WOMAN and pretending to everyone all was well while being manhandled at home.

Domestic Violence is a no no for me, every other challenge can be dialogued over and solved but battle of the fists, NO WAY!!!

He should have beaten the foolishness out of you.
You are not worthy to be a mother. shocked shocked :

Why won't you let him take care of his children while you party away with your younger boyfriend ??
Hia,ooooo. That was my reaction when i read this line. Lots of people on Nairaland, phew!

Why would you take his wallet ??
Why would you engage him in a fist fight ??
I would encourage him to hit you on a daily basis so you can regain your sanity.
Foolish woman

Talk is cheap, brother. I just read from Sambarry that HEART ATTACK is the number 1 killer of black women and i must say that am shocked to know that considering i was a victim of domestic violence as well. Long story short, i walked out but not with my health optimal cos i now have Thyroid issues with all the HBP, palpitations etal.

In a bid to be candid or whatever it is u call it, u have succeeded in ONLY emphasizing why the marriage institution is gone to the dustbin like someone wrote.

I tired!!!!!

Kilode! Take it easy now. The baby is also South African and even if it wasn't, e no bad reach like that now. Its just a show. For some people, South Africans and Nigerians, the 'beef' is just playful banter. Easy bro.

U dey mind people. Even if they SAns r hateful, shud we also become like them while criticizing them?

Well, i remember Shorty saying they'll hear from her when anyone mentions her peeps and country so that may also be others reason too. Shrugs in slow mo.

Whenever I shave completely the hair on my head or my facial hair, the difference in the way I look is usually huge, and not in a good way.
I tried looking like Tupac in secondary school and it didn't work at all.
My uni years also taught me not to mess too much with the facial hairs.
I have come to see that if I must look like someone who became famous for losing their life, our lord and saviour is the best choice. He will never fail me.

Hahahahahahaha, laff wan tear my belle ooooo. U probably said, kpuom isi i kpulu Albert (cut my hair like u did Albert's) and u came out looking like the man in The king and I- strange. Hehehehehehehe

U are right on d bolded, hilarious though.

God put facial hair there knowing it fits so i dont understand d shave off most guys do saying it makes them look neat. Balderdash as far as am concerned.
Even the bushy ones look good on some.

U looked good in d pix u uploaded with ur hairs.

The thing here is no matter what anyone says, people will always have their perspective of things. Siblings dont always agree on an issue so why should anyone expect unity in opinion here.

Bikonu, sofry sofry on d epistles, quoting and requoting cos it just ends up messing up pages for nothing.

PLEASE! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!!

U guys shudnt give up now that i've gotten the link and intend to go for next year's BBA.
I'll make u guys proud.

I'm a combination of:
Mambea (maternal and hippy wink)

Butty (reading books- my third option after internet surfing/tv, dont know which takes the top spot, flat shoes all d time,no flat tommy, no makeup while home though i'll try before una use mouth finish me for here grin)

Tayo (i'm quite opinionated and speak loudly-not intentionally just my voice but definitely not screaming except when angry and not a good dancer)

Ella (flirty wink), happy go lucky.

I'm intelligent, a good dresser, annoying attimes, analyst, critic- i understood Tayo there cos i also criticise but u know, like The Fashion Police do...hehehe. A friend says i run commentary, i have a very foul mouth when provoked- yes- u dont wanna see that side though i know Safarigirl will support me no matter what.

Please, u guys just i more time and i'll go play the girl next door with my not so pretty face tongue, be everyone's friend and trust me Africa will change from regional voting and by the grace of God and ur efforts, i'll bring home the money.

I promise i'll share champagne bottle pictures in appreciation here.

And yes, u guys will know its me cos i go s/o to ur monikers.

Safarigirl, biko kam n'ayo nne oma, am a decent girl too. Ewezina, inu?

Thanks all and watch out for me BBA 2015.
