Gabon striker Shiva N’Digo who played in the Ligue 1 for several years has confessed that he had sex with his own sister and how his mother was killed and sacrificed to aid his career.
N’Zigou played for Nantes and Reims in French top division between 2001 and 2005 and also represented Gabon.

The striker in a church in Gabon has shockingly confessed to having sex with his sister and how his father killed his mother for spiritual sacrifices that would help his career.



Also in his confession, the striker revealed that he lied about his age and also had sexual relations with his aunt.

He revealed that his age was cut by five years in his passport before he became a pro footballer.

“I had [sexual] relations with my aunt, these relations happened again with my sister. I slept with my sister,” he confessed in the church.

“I slept with a man. And I had another long-term relationship also with a man.”



Career timeline
N’Zigou started his youth career in Gabon with USM Libreville before he moved to France to join Angers academy in 1997.

A year later he joined the famous Nantes youth system made his debut for the senior side in 2002.

He later spent a year loan at FC Gueugnon before signing with Reims in 2005.

He left France in 2011 to join Belgian Third Division team Royal Excelsior Virton.

International career

He played 24 times for the Gabon national teams and scored five goals.

One of those goals came at the Nigeria/Ghana 2000 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which he scored at the age of 16 years, 93 days to become the youngest player to score in an AFCON tournament.

Although N’Zigou has not been active for a while, he is yet to officially announced his retirement.

A homeless couple who have been together for 30 years got married under a bridge thanks to the generosity of strangers. Llewellyn Jeneker and Cecilia Absolom got married in Cape Town, South Africa’s.

The ceremony was officiated by pastor Manuel Benans in front of more than 100 guests, including other homeless people from the city’s Culemborg Safe Space. The couple’s 12-year-old son Dylan was also present at the wedding.

The wedding was possible, thanks to the city council and a woman called Jill Jeftha, who donated the bride’s dress.

The bride, who has been homeless most of her life and was raised on the streets by her mother, said that the dress “stole my heart”.

Footage from their wedding shows the couple saying their vows and sharing a loving kiss after which they had their first dance as a live band belted out “Save the Last Dance to Me”.

Ghanaian singer Becca got married to her Nigerian manager, Tobi Sanni Daniel, who was once Ice Prince’s business manager, at a private ceremony which took place in Accra, Ghana.

The pair had both their traditional and white wedding over the weekend and the ceremonies were attended by family and friends of the couple.

The singer shared this loved-up photo of both of them staring closely at each other at their traditional marriage and wrote:

‘I found love in you and I’ve learnt to love me too.’

Dr. Peter Fisher, a doctor who treated Queen Elizabeth II for a decade and a half, died in a bicycle crash in London on Wednesday, August 15.

Celebrity Deaths in 2018: Stars We’ve Lost
The 67-year-old was traveling through the High Holborn area of central London when his bicycle collided with a truck, according to Reuters. He died at the scene, despite CPR administered by bystanders. He was the eighth cyclist killed in London this year.

“We are all deeply shocked and saddened to learn that Dr. Peter Fisher tragically died in a road traffic accident yesterday,” Gill Gaskin, medical director at University College London Hospitals, said in a statement. “Peter was director of research at UCLH’s Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM), and physician to Her Majesty The Queen.”


Queen Elizabeth II’s Evolution From Princess to the Longest-Reigning British Monarch
Dr. Fisher was a world expert in homeopathy and a member of the royal medical household who served as homeopathic physician to the Queen, according to the Evening Standard. Buckingham Palace said the British monarch had been informed of the tragedy, Reuters reported.

As of Thursday, police were looking for witnesses to the accident, but they did say the truck driver had stopped at the scene and was answering their inquiries.

“[Dr. Fisher] was much respected as a good doctor who saw homeopathy as complementary to medical care,” Marcus Setchell, Queen Elizabeth’s former surgeon-gynecologist, told the Standard. “We are all shocked by his tragic loss.”

Interestingly, the beauty queen who represented Nigeria in the cultural scholarship pageantry competition, was winner of another pageantry, Miss Africa Arizona only 9 months ago.

She was a Nigeria Potter who marked her time with unique creativity and sound crafts

Before the 80s, documentation of legendary Nigerian feminists and the female achievements has a somewhat fleeting representation in Nigerian history.

Through the years, Nigerian feminists have clamoured for female representation on any of our naira denominations. Little did anyone realize that N20 our note already bore female representation.

While she was not the named dignitary on the note and we still await the day heroes of yesteryears like Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti or Moremi or Dora Akunyili grace a Naira note, we should appreciate one who already has.

Ladi Kwali
Pottery is an African craft that children of the lower middle class to the lower class of Nigerian social class used to dabble in. Equally, it is a craft with deep historical roots across Africa and Asia.

Some people have however become legends over it and secured immortality by leveraging their pottery skills.

Enter, a legendary potter; a woman who became the only female potter on Abuja’s Cardew Pottery Training Centre in 1954; an international grade artisan and 1963 Member of the British Empire; Dr. Hadiza Ladi Kwali Hajiya.

Birth
Dr. Ladi Kwali was born in the Gwari region, close to Abuja in Northern Nigeria in 1925 — although debatable; the 1984 Nigerian yearbook suggested that she was born in 1920.

One thing is however clear, her named ‘Ladi’ is significant and meaningful — it roughly translates to ‘Born on a Sunday’.

She was born into a family of potters where women, like in other parts of the country moulded things with their bare hands and she learned pottery as a child.

As she grew, she became an apprentice for her aunt and mastered the pottery technique of ‘coiling and pinching’.

A Purple article about her documents that her masterful pot designs soon marked her out. Reports suggest that as her reputation soared, the Emir of Abuja, Alhaji Suleiman Barau took it upon himself to visit her and admire her handiwork. He was reportedly won over and bought several designs for use and decoration.

Through school, she developed her skill level till she took it up professionally.

1954: Cardew Pottery Training Centre
Around 1950, Ladi moved to Abuja. It coincided with the visit of Michael Cardew, the legendary British potter to Nigeria around the same time.

It is claimed that Michael Cardew encountered Ladi’s work at the Emir of Abuja’s palace and was so drawn to her work that he chose to stay back in Nigeria to nurture Ladi and propel her into a global phenomenon.

In 1954, Cardew founded the Cardew Pottery Training Centre in Abuja where Ladi became the first woman.

Some reports claim that it was Cardew who convinced her to move to Abuja in 1954, but it conflicts with her timeline. She was likely in Abuja before 1954 because by that time, she must have been 29 and had been on her own for a number of years.

Nigerian Popularity
As her reputation soared, so did her skill level and then first, national recognition.

On Independence day, October 1, 1960, her work was on display as one of the select few to mark the craftsmanship fabric in Nigeria.

Global Recognition
In 1962, she was named a Member of The British Empire (MBE) and she demonstrated at the Winchcombe Pottery, England.

A little later, her works started showing at the Berkeley Galleries, London. While in England, she was also invited to lecture at certain institutions, despite never being formally educated.

Till date works continue to grace foreign platforms.

Aftermath
After her English sojourn and successful tour, she was so amped up, Purple says that, “she was so excited about her experiences in London that she narrated them to everyone who cared to listen.”

It continues that, “the staff of Cardew Pottery Training Centre in Abuja sarcastically nicknamed her ‘Radio London.’”

In 1977, she was named a honorary doctor at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State where she was also a part-time lecturer and demonstrator.

The same year of 1977, the Smithsonian Institute awarded her the Silver Award of Excellence.

The accolades didn’t stop there as she received the Nigerian National Order of Merit Award in 1980 — the apex national honour for academic achievement.

The year 1980 saw her named an Officer of the Order of the Niger.

Death and Legacy
Despite being married, Ladi died without an issue on August 12, 1984 and with her name permanently etched into immortality as a feminist trailblazer during a time of immense disadvantages.

Her major legacy is being a symbol of limitless possibilities despite disadvantages — she was never formally educated. She could neither read nor write English. She couldn’t speak the language either.

Yet, she was celebrated by the culture that owns the language and lectured at their universities. She was a testament of limitation being only a figment of the imagination once one is blessed with a gift one excels at.

In summation of her legacy, she became the first woman on a Naira note — the N20 note.

Her legacy lives on. Till date, her works are being showcased at galleries across the world.

Regardless of reason and intent, is it ever justifiable to have a side guy or a side chick?

Just the other day, ladies in relationships were being advised on social media to get a side-guy and that poses the direct question; of what use is an extra boyfriend when you already have one?

In a post published early in August, self-acclaimed love doctor, Joro Olumofin claims that it’s time for every lady “to have a contingency boyfriend, a backup boyfriend”

What this means is that he believes it is wise for women in relationships to have side guys to whom they can be married in “6 months” if their real boyfriends messes up.

The man says his advice is influenced by the number of heartbreaks he has seen among women dumped by their boyfriends. He says that if a woman keeps a side guy during her relationship, she won’t feel so much heartache as she would have someone to fall back on.

Obviously, having a sideguy will be blatant cheating. Whether he’s a sideguy in the real sense of the word, that is, one who performs all boyfriend’s duties including sex, or one “who fits all your criteria of a husband material but is your platonic friend,” it is cheating nonetheless.

If you’re hiding him from your boyfriend, it is wrong. If you are hiding from your boyfriend, your real intent for the other guy, it is still cheating.

David Silva has announced his retirement from international football.

32-year old Silva had 125 caps for the country and won the 2010 World Cup and 2008 and 2012 European Championship titles.

Silva who plays for Manchester City and made his Spanish debut in 2006, said he was “very proud” and the decision to retire was “one the most difficult of my career”.

“I lived and dreamed with a team that will forever be remembered. It has not been easy, after all I’ve experienced, to write these lines. I’ve spent days and weeks considering this. The national team gave me everything and helped me grow as a player and a person.

“I leave proud and happy, bringing an end to a time full of emotions and memories, like of the figure of Luis Aragones, a maestro who will never be forgotten,” he said in a post on Twitter.

Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji made it clear in a comment on his instagram page that he is not scared of ban from NBC, because he already has a reservation in their blacklist.

Olamide released a new song, titled, “Puna” and in a bid to promote the new track, he took to his IG page to share a quite erotic video of a lady supposedly twerking to just released song.

Upon seeing the video and its explicit content, coupled with the lyrics of the song, a singer, jahbless pointed out to the artiste that the song might just get banned from the National Broadcasting Commission.

In response to the fan’s comment, the rapper subtly shaded the cooperation as he says he’s unbothered whether or not, they ban his yet to be released song cause he’s already on their blacklist.

Magistrate Banji Ayeomoni of Okitipupa Magistrates’ Court in Ondo State, together with his son Dara, another relation and his driver were reported dead in an inferno caused by a petrol tanker spillage in Ekpoma.

An official of the court, who spoke on condition of anonymity told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Saturday, that the incident happened on Friday night close to Ambrose Ali University (AAU), Ekpoma.

The official said that the late Ayeomoni went to visit his children at Ekpoma, adding that while returning his vehicle ran into the petrol spillage of a tanker which caused fire and other vehicles behind were also affected.

The source added that the Magistrate, Dara, who is a 500 level student of medicine of AAU, a young boy of the deceased wife’s sister and the driver died at an undisclosed hospital shortly after the accident.

“We heard that the late Magistrate went to visit his children at AAU when the incident occurred through a petrol tanker oil spillage, which claimed their lives.

“It was indeed very sad news to all members of staff and lawyers in our court,’’ the source said.

Meanwhile, Insp. Zedekiah Orogbemi, the court’s prosecutor who also confirmed the incident to NAN said that he was shocked when he got the news.

Orogbemi, who described the late Magistrate as a “thorough bred lawyer and a good man’’ prayed for the repose of his soul.

“I was shocked when the news broke and up till now, I still cannot believe that Ayeomoni is gone but what can we do than to pray for the repose of his soul.

“I also condole with his family and pray that God should give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,’’ he said.

NAN reports that the 59 year-old Magistrate, who was due for retirement next year, left behind his wife and two other children.

Nigerian singer Banky W has joined the increasing number of Nigerian artistes who are speaking up against the wrongs happing in Nigeria, mostly orchestrated by the political class.

Banky W reacted to the blockade of the National Assembly complex by men of the DSS. The singer and actor via his Twitter handle aimed to educate Nigerians about the choice before them in 2019. He said the politicians were playing with the country’s destiny.

He wrote thus;

Politicians are playing musical chairs with our country’s destiny.

Instead of us coming together & cancelling ALL of them, some of us are picking sides, fighting on their behalf & FALSELY accusing ourselves.

News flash: They’re ALL out 4 SelfInterest. We need an entirely new path

It’s a chess game between two sides.. aren’t we tired of being pawns yet? No? We are just going to sit here and fight/falsely accuse ourselves, on behalf of leaders on both sides of the aisle, most of whom have clearly shown that we are the ones they care LEAST about?

Cancel all of em. It’s a chess game, and we are the pawns. It’s a damn comedy show, and the joke is on us. It has always been.
