I think this deduction thing is rubbish honestly. It might benefit us, but it is still rubbish. Instead, FIFA should just award games that have been cancelled as no show.

And lastly, Eritrea should be banned forever from FIFA. This is like the fifth time this happened. Does this not count as govt interference?

Let me explain.. U know tanzania is in eriteria group ? (Good)
Before their last 2 matches they were in a good position to make that point deduction hapen becoz despite lackin 2 matches they were still competing for the best 2nd place.

Ok Now imagine if they maintained that pace and eventually it was the eritrea matches that made them not make it,
Fifa would say "ok lets do the deduction to make it fair on tanzania".
But unfortunately tanzania have carelessly lost 2 matches in a row which slowed them down. Now even if u award them 6points from eritrea games they still wont make the points needed to be in that position.
So that means eriteria wont do any imapct on them anymore.

According to this article, Zimbabwe has agreed to host RSA in Durban. If true, it means a win might have also been negotiated.

It's irrelevant atp. After the draw with SA, the playoffs became our most realistic option to qualify through.

That Eritrea stuff might also be helpful, but the problem I have is that the circumstances surrounding it are not well defined. For the life of me, I can't find any tournaments online where FIFA cancelled the results of last placed teams in group qualifiers and yet I'm seeing many people hold on to it for hope.

This is also a possibility. All teams in the group awarded 6 points. But this is unfair to other groups. If matches were played no guarantee they would have won both leg.

I want to rant, so please bear with me...the super eagles have not being scoring much lately and people are wondering why, is it not obvious that the reason is that we move the ball too slow, players taking extra touch where they could have just passed the damn ball, the more extra touch a player takes, the more time for the opponent to set up...before you know what is happening, it is 30 mins into the match, the only time you can play that slow is when you have dribblers like Jay Jay,Neymar Jr, who can take on a player and dribble him, another players try to covers, which means he is out of position, leaving spaces in the formation, now the defensive formation is broken down. Do we not have a technical department? It is really simple, Imagine if we move that ball as quick as the South Africans and we move it with purpose, imagine what damage we would do....but....no, players keep dressing the ball, extra touch....and we do not have real dribblers on the team, sad to watch....

From the look of things the 3pts will definitely be deducted after the qualifiers, because the issue is gradually gaining momentum
