It rained here yesterday. (I'm in Oyigbo, Rivers State). There's definitely a shift in climatic conditions. We don't know really what is to expect in the coming months.

I’m currently in the South East, and normally by late November we would have started feeling harmattan — cooler weather, dry air, dusty breeze, at least some signs.

But now, just a day to Christmas, everywhere is still hot. No harmattan breeze, no dryness, no dusty mornings. It honestly feels more like February or March than December.

This feels very unusual to me. In all my years on earth, I can’t remember a December like this.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing in their area?
Could this be climate change, or is this just one of those rare weather shifts?

Unfortunately, you are correct. A presidential pardon overrides the authority of the court to convict. Once pardoned, you are as clean as a slate. Anything the courts do now regarding this matter is purely academic. That's why presidential pardons should only be used for political prisoners or convicts who obviously were convicted wrongly.

But the court said that he has a case to answer and should open his defence. This means a prima case has been established against him requiring an answer. With this time wasting, the court should overrule him and ask him to open his defence. Thereafter, he should be shut out and sentenced accordingly. The penalty for his offences is 20 to 25yrs imprisonment with hard labour. He is getting nothing less than that
