CINDY
I got to the office with the help of the house keeper only for me to hear them calling me ghost. I told them am not a ghost and that am alive. Some were scares of me and ran away but those who are courageous stay behind. They touch me and was convinced that am alive. They were all happy to see me. Then I saw Tunde and Sandra coming out from Sandra office. Sandra started shouting ghost ghost then she fainted. Tunde was scared initially but I told him an not a ghost then he came closer and embrace me.
We went to his office. I explained what Happened to him. He was very excited to see me alive and he said he wont leave me again and that we should start making preparations for our wedding
"Tunde what are you saying can't u see that I am a cripple. Tunde I won't be able to work again. What can I offer you "
"You are my life Cindy, I can't live without you. Do you know how grateful I am to God for bringing you back into my life. It doesn't matter if you can't walk again the most important thing is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
"I want want to be a liability to you. No money to under go proper medical care and surgery "

I left Tunde's office and went to meet Sandra in her office. She has been revived with water when she fainted a while ago. Why are you back Cindy I thought you were dead. Why now that things has started working between Tunde and I. To make matter worst, Tunde just left my office saying he love Cindy and there is no space for me. I can't accept defeat. Not now not ever

I can't believe am seeing Cindy again it's like a dream to me. After work I went to my mom's house and share the good news with her. She was dancing when I told her but she stop dancing when I said Cindy is in a wheelchair because she can't walk. My mom became sad. She said I can't marry Cindy. I pleaded with her to see reasons with me but she said no

I got home and told my parents the outcome of my meeting with Tunde the only my dad said was he pass the test. My phone rang it was Tunde he said he want to see me as soon as possible so we can make all the necessary arrangements for the surgery . I told my parents and they were shocked

The next day, my dad called the MD to hold a meeting and all the staff must be present because it's an important meeting.

Some hours later, I and my dad went to the office. The door was open. Everybody in the room stand up when we walk in. They were surprise to see me walking but they couldn't say anything because of the presence of my dad.
"You are all welcome to this meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce to you all the new CEO of this company. This is my only daughter Cindy Aremu abayomi the new CEO of REMKO plc.
They were shock to hear the news. Sandra wanted to faint but she was able to hold herself. Then I smile and I gave my speech. They were all looking at me as if they have seen a ghost. My dad and the MD left immediately then Tunde follow. They were all asking how did you do it. Aren't you the secretary we use to know? I just laugh and left them. I told my mom about Cindy being the daughter of the CEO of the company where I work and that she is now the CEO of the company. She felt bad because of the way she treated Cindy the last time. She was happy for me

MR BROWN
I invited Tunde to my house to give him the good news. I just made him the new MD of my company and the former MD has been transferred to my other company in Lagos. The guy deserve better, he has proven himself worthy and fit to take care of my daughter. He pass my test with the best result. Cindy is lucky to have a young man like him.

Sandra apologize for what she did in the past, I forgive her. She thought I will sack her but I didn't because she has learnt her lesson. Treat people right because no one knows tomorrow . The MD congratulated me. My colleagues at work where scared to come closer to me because am now their boss I told them to be free with me like before because am still the Secretary they know and they were excited to hear that

I call Kayla and inform her that am getting married to Tunde in two months time she was excited to hear the good news. She also inform me about her wedding coming up soon.

There is a rumor in the office that Cindy is dead. I decided to call Mr Brown to know the truth and he said Cindy was involve in an accident and she is in critical condition. I had to employ someone else to take her place in the office. I had to play along with the other staff who claim Cindy is dead so that they wont find out about her secret

I woke up and find myself in another hospital. My dad said he had to transfer me to one of the best hospital in the state so I can have a better treatment. I told my parents that I want to see Kayla. They said Kayla come to the hospital daily to check on me and that she is indeed a true friend. They called her and she came with Ade and Femi. She was excited when she saw me. My parents said have been in coma for one month and they have been praying for me to wake up

Two days later I was discharged from the hospital. My dad ask me about Tunde and I told them everything they need to know about him and I told them I don't know if he is still alive and my dad said he will call the MD to get all the information we need"
He called the MD immediately and he said Tunde is in the office he resume work after his one month leave due to the accident he also told my dad about my the rumor concerning my death . After the call I realized that have not been able to reach Tunde because he thought I was dead.

I was in my office thinking about what my mom said. 3 days ago my mom said its time for me to move on with my life. She said I should consider Sandra since she has been there for me and she is also a nice lady. My mom is right ever since I lost Cindy, Sandra has been very helpful. She try her best so I will stop thinking. I was able to stand again because of her and I think I should consider her like my mom said. I went to her office to tell to inform her about my plan. I was able to cut the break of that bastard. He should be dead by now. Hahahahahahaha now that he is out of the way, Cindy will be mine forever. I was drinking a class of wine to celebrate my victory when Kayla came in she said Cindy was involved in an accident and she is about going to the hospital. I ask her to wait so I can change into something better because I want to go with her to the hospital

SNIPPER
I was told Cindy the lady madam Sandra ask me to take care of is in a restaurant. I went there and plan to strike when she is close to her house. I was driving behind them when they left the restaurant and some minutes later they had an accident. I came down from my car and saw that she died at the spot. Though I didn’t carry out the job as promise but I will collect my balance from madam Sandra and tell her I did a clean job.

TUNDE
I woke up and found myself at the hospital. I saw my mom and the doctor looking at me
“Tunde ……….oh you are awake. Thank God
“What am I doing here mom”
“ You were involved in an accident and someone brought you here”
“Oh no …………Cindy where is Cindy mom where is Cindy I was with her when we had the accident”
“Calm down young man don’t stress yourself you will find answers to all your questions when get better for now you need to rest” the doctor reply. I rested for some hours and ask the doctor to tell me what happened. He told me that the people who brought me here said the lady who was with me in the car died on the spot. It was like a dream to me how can she be dead. I just propose to her. I was shouting and crying at the same time. My mom was crying too because she was happy am ready to settle down with not just any lady but Cindy. How will I be able to live without her. Cindy is my world and life. I was unable to thank those that save my life the doctor said they left immediately I was brought her. I was unable to eat because I lost appetite for food.

SANDRA
Sniper called some minutes ago to inform me that Cindy is dead. This is the type of news I want to hear. Finally Tunde will be mine.

CINDY
I woke up and find myself in a hospital. I saw my parents, Kayla and Femi in the room where I was admitted. They were happy to see me alive. They try every means they could think of to know how the accident happened and the person who was driving but am not ready to talk about it. A young man walk in and introduce himself as Joe. He explain how he saved my life. I ask him about Tunde he said Tunde was taken to another hospital. I was still for some minutes and my parents had to call the doctor to check on me and the doctor told them I need rest that they should leave and come back the next day

I have been discharged from the hospital and I was moody. My mom had to stay with me to make sure I eat and take my bath. If not for her, I didn't plan to do anything but just sit on the floor looking at the wall. My mom did her best to console me. Sandra and some of my colleagues at work came to visit me. Sandra did not go with them she stay back and try her best to make me happy but it didn't work. She promise to be there for me. I was given one month leave before I can resume work.
I resume work after the one week leave and met some changes. Cindy's job has been given to someone else. So I won't be able to see Cindy again I said to myself. My colleagues welcome me back and things became normal again.

Some months ago before I started working, I was returning from my mom boutique when a terrible accident happened. A woman was knocked down by a car and the driver drove off immediately without stopping. Instead of the people around to carry the woman to the hospital, some were busy taking pictures of her because they thought she is dead. Immediately I got there, I carry her inside my car with the help of some other people around and drove to the hospital. When I get the hospital, I was ask to deposit the sum of 50,000 before they can start treatment. Luckily for me, I was having some cash with me so I deposited the money and ask them to start treatment immediately. I had to go home so I can prepare something for her to eat. The doctor was able to get in touch with her son and he said he is on his way coming to the hospital.
I went home to prepare something for her. I told my parents about her and they were for what I did. I went to the hospital and the lady was awake I gave her the food. She thank me for saving her life after eating the food and ask me to send my account number to her so she can pay me back my money because the doctor told her how much I spent on her medical bills. I told her not to bother because I did it because she was in need of my assistant . She ask me to wait so I can meet her son but I couldn't wait for him because I have an important place to go.

I went for to the supermarket to buy some groceries as I was coming out from the supermarket, I saw a large crowd and decide to check what is happening there

“The man driving the car was rush to the hospital but the lady over there died at the spot”
I left the man and when to where the lady was lying I look at her closely and notice she is still breathing then I took her to the hospital

MRS BROWN
Cindy promise to come home early. Its past 8 and she is not back. I try calling her but her number was switch off. I called Kayla to know if Cindy is what her but she said she hasn’t seen her all day. Am very worried. I was still thinking of what to do when her dad enter and ask after her. I explain to him that she is not back and her number is switch off.

MR BROWN
Cindy is not the kind of lady who keep late night. I can feel that something is wrong

It’s been two weeks Tunde and I started dating, he is very caring and have the qualities am looking for in a man. We got to Tunde 's house and the place is very nice he has really done well for himself to have such an apartment. We went inside and he offer me a glass of juice. He told me to sit down while he prepare the food for us, I told him I will be leaving very soon so I can't wait for his food. He said it's my first time visiting so I have to stay a little longer I agreed. We started gisting and laughing and I didn't know when I spent 2 hours with him. I look at the time it was 7pm then I told him I had to leave because I don't want to go home late he accepted and I left we got to the door, he hold my hands, draw me closer to himself and kissed me. I was trying to talk to my dad with my eyes but he ignored me. The next thing he said was you are fired.
" Tell the MD to see me in my office he said pointing at Tunde. He looked at me and said "See Me in my office now then he went to his office. "You see what you 've caused the marketing manager said pointing towards me. I have been sacked because of a low life like you. You will regret this I will make sure u are sacked from this company too then she left wit anger. Tunde came close to me and ask if am OK I said yes then I ran to my dad 's office.

TUNDE
This office is something else with different people. How can someone receive slap this morning because of coffee. I felt for Cindy because she didn't deserve to be treated Like that. She is not the troublesome type then I turn to the other staff watching the little Drama

One week after the incident, I made few friends who are junior staff like me. One fateful day, Tunde came to my office and ask me to have lunch with him I accepted and we left the office. We got to the eatery and place our order. After eating we discussed alot. He told me about himself and I did same but omitted the part where am the CEO daughter. He ask about my car because the day we first met I was driving a car. I lied and told him the car is for my friend and have been longing to ride a car and she decided to teach me. Two months later
I and Tunde have become very close he drop me off to my bus stop daily and it became his responsibility. Whenever I close late, he will wait for me so he can drop me off before going home. He has offered to take me home on several occasions but I declined his offer. I close from work very early because I will be going to the market to buy some food stuff so I can prepare soup and Stew for the week. I told Cindy about my plan and she offered to help. We went to the market together, bought the food stuff then I pleaded with her to follow me home so she can know where I live and she agreed.

KAYLA
Have been calling Cindy but her number is not going through so I decided to go to her house and see her. When I got there, I met her mom on the floor trying to get her inhaler but she couldn't get it because she just had another attack. She was pointed towards the direction of the inhaler then I ran to get it and put it in her Mouth. Few minutes later she was OK and she sat on the chair

MRS BROWN
I am indeed lucky today because Kayla came at the right time if not only God know what would have happened to me. I thank her for coming to my rescue and came closer to me and hug me. She advised that I shouldn't be allowed to stay alone that we should employ a house keeper we will be around me always and watch over me in case of emergency like this. I spent one hour with Kayla before going home. I was exhausted when I got home I took my bath and fell on top of my bed. The thought of my boss and Tunde came through my mind. I went home after dropping Cindy and Sandra . I got home and met Gabriel my childhood friend waiting for me outside. Am no longer living with my parents. I rented an apartment close to my office . Gabriel and I don't keep secret, he share our joy and pain to one another. Gabriel is not happy with me according to him, I neglected him ever since I started working. It's not my fault my job is very demanding unlike his. He is the manager of a hotel so he has time for himself. I told Gabriel about the situation I find myself. Am in the middle of two beautiful ladies and I don't know who to choose . He advised me to follow my heart and not my eyes then I decided to settle for Cindy

I haven't being to my office Since my daughter started working in my company. I have an important meeting to attend to and I decided to use the opportunity check on my daughter and she how she is coping. I embrace her and left. I had to take a cab to work because I don't want to be late. I came down from the cab before I got to the office so my colleagues at work won't see me then I ran inside luckily for me I got there before I boss. As usual I prepared coffee for my boss and when I went to her office to give her the coffee, I met the marketing manager discussing with my boss. I greeted them and gave my boss the cup of coffee. The marketing manager ask me to prepare a cup of coffee for her and bring it to her office because her secretary was sick and couldn't come to the office. I said OK and went to my little office then she went to her office immediately. I prepared her coffee on my way to her office, I met her at the reception and stretch my hands to give her the coffee she acted as if she did not see me then she shouted at me
"Is this place my office, I ask you to give me coffee in my office and not the reception are you deaf or something. She started shouting and it attracted other staff and the came to the reception to know what is happening
"Am sorry ma before I knew what was happening she gave me a very hot slap on my face . The cup of coffee I was holding fell down and I use my hands to hold my face and I didn't move nor utter a word . As I was about leaving I saw my dad looking at me I was surprise to see him .

The MD took me round the company and introduced me to my new boss then he went to his office. Her name is Sandra . Immediately I recognize her as one of those that interview me. The lady should be in her mid twenties. I greeted her then she gave me the rules and regulations of the company, my duties as her secretary. Serving her coffee every morning was part of my duties. I sat down in my little office, trying to arrange it to my taste when the mud guy walked in

What a lovely name Cindy. Am happy she is working here with me. I think am beginning to fall for this girl what do I do, she is not in my class. A common secretary. I was lost in a deep thought when someone tap my shoulder I look up it was Sandra the admin manager. He offered to drop me at my bus stop and I turn down his offer but he insisted then I had to accept. I enter his car and greeted my boss then we drove off. SANDRA
Tunde is very stubborn, I don't know what is wrong with him. A charming lady like me want him and he is playing hard to get and turning me down. No guy has ever turn me down or rejected me in the past and I won't allow him not now. I won't give up I have to do something very fast
