Relationship101:
My dad is Agnostic and my mum is religious.
wow would hav expected ur mother to be d agnostic one since mothers do share a stronger bond with their babies(imho) and losing dem cos of some non-existent god should hav been enough ground to throw out religious bullshits.

Relationship101: The first child died and she said 'God gives and God takes, the 2nd child died and she said, 'Who can question God' the 3rd one died and she said, 'Gods plan is the best. This happened till the 5th child. When we are ignorant about medical conditions we tend to fall prey and thereby blaming devil using the almighty 'God Loves us Speech'. Whenever your child is sick, take that child to the hospital. God is dead and if you wait for him, your child will die just like my siblings died.
The 4th child died in my hand back in Kano state while a SERIOUS prayer session was going on. Oh how I which I was enlightened then as I am now, those kids would have been saved. After the death, God promised (using his mouth piece called pastor) that if truly he is the 'I am that I am', no other child will die again. 2 years later, the 5th child died! And that was when God died.
Shout out to my younger brother. You are alive today because God died!
God is a killer and he killed 5 of my siblings. I know you came to read 'How God killed 5 of my siblings' BUT the sad truth is that I am not referring to YOUR God.
Death is a wicked demon. Always taking what doesn't belong to her. This Is How God Killed 5 Of My Siblings.

is dis a true life story or fiction?

lomaxx: Ok this is what I'm gonna do
I'm gonna categorize all thr soft copy links from preclinical to final year
All the books you're gonna need
Both Indian and others. You heard me right- Indian books.
-You can have Vasudevan, Charteajea , Sembulimgam , Harsh Mogan all in clean soft copy.
So drop your mails while I find start work.

May I use this time to say that as a medical student, a tablet is a must-have. You need it. If you have money, buy an iPad, bcause the battery life is flawless. The iPad 4 has a battery capacity of over 11,000 mah. If you're just using it to read without browsing, you could go for 4days without charge.

If you don't have money so much, buy a good tablet with a decent battery life. Tecno pads have decent battery life. Samsung too.

With a tablet you can have so many books at your disposal. Instead of buying one book and being limited, you can have as many as 4. It gives you an advantage over ur peers. And best if all, you can read anywhere.

Good luck guys. I'll get back to y'all.

The only books I bought there are:

1) Norman Browse
2) Falase (big and small)

The rest were downloaded from the World Wide Web into a tablet. Depends on whether you are a hard copy or soft copy person.

Apart from the prices, most of them are not available in Nigeria. If you're good to go with soft copy, I'll guide you to where you can download all of them.

For HistoPathology, start with Pathology secrets. For Microbiology, get Clinical Microbiology made Ridiculously Simple(I forgot this one. Played a pivot role in my MCB successes). For Chemical Pathology, Primer would do. Hoffbrand would do for Hematology.

For Pharm, start with USMLE Pharm. if you graze your foundation with this one, I won't be surprised if you have a distinction in Pharm.

You need to know your signs and symptoms, this is where I recommend Alagappan instead of Hutchinson. It has a more tropical perspective.

Buy Norman Browse, it's gonna cover the lapses made by Alagappan.

You need a guide. I can give you course outlines in each of everything to start studying. Drop your mail.
hi though am currently in 100level,i will like to hav the soft copy of d textbooks i will be needing in pre-clinical and clinical?my email is :majekodunmiajiboye@gmail.com will be glad if u can send me some pdf files of d textbooks u hav or post d links here.

Religion / Re: Atheists. Come In Let's Discuss. by ninja4life(m): 3:53pm On Jul 07, 2014
So are u saying dat cos many cultures talk abt god creating man from mud and similar things probably shows god exist then u are damn wrong cos many people from different cultures believe dat d earth was flat so following ur logic dat means d earth is really flat,as many people from different culture believed dat.nonsense
5minsmadness:
Wait, what? This your analogy makes no sense. Why didnt they just say people came out of the water or a great beast birthed them? Why the mud and the breathing of life?

So I clicked your link and looked through some but not all of the topics at random as there were too many. Earth, mud, land, rock, they all point to the same thing. Can't you see the similarity? Why didn't someone make man from water? Or air? There is a similarity in the creation story concerning man, (not the gods) no matter how bizzaire other parts of the story gets. Unless you deliberately don't want to see it.

And what do you know is "The Great Leprechaun?" If such a thing existed wouldn't it have beenemtioned in man's history? Can't you see such examples are given by atheist bodies to ridicule the idea of a supernatural being solely and so shouldn't be taken seriously?

And then what? You'll come on your knees to worship him if he does that? I doubt it. You'll probably go on about how its a hoax and how the Americans have devised a means to brainwash the masses. Besides God tried numerous times in the past to communicate directly with man, man simply goes 'wow' and then forgets after some time.

All religion, although diverse, have a common similarity. There is a God. That God may have demigods under him or send out emmissaires or have a Son but it still remains that there is a God. The last major spiritual upheaval is God sending his Son to die so that you can inherit eternal life in heaven. You don't need to do anything extra special like the Jews or Buddhists or Pagans. No need for any special atonement. Just believe in the salvation of God's son and be saved. So simple. Yet so difficult to follow for so many. Personally I think God has tried and if He has decided to leave us to rot in our ways I won't blame Him one bit. The bible actually warns that days like these will come when there will be a loss of faith on earth and people will be full of themselves, beat their chests and say 'there is no god.' and that the faithful should beware of those days.

I don't intend to preach or convert you to the Christian faith. I think most atheists on this forum are not angry at God per se, how can they be angry at someone they don't believe even exists smiley. I think they are angry at the behaviour of Christians they have come across at one point or the other in their lives, or because they prayed for something and didn't get it. Is that disappointment really enough to risk your soul for?

In your search for truth through science, remember to keep an eye out for things that science cannot explain. Try not to build on science so much as it tends to shift like the wind with new evidence. Be mad at Christians and pentecostal zealots with their fire and brimstone judgmental, holier-than-thou attitude but give God himself a chance by keeping your mind open to possibilities.
