Fellow nairalanders, i am greatful for your contributions especially Durinsday and 001ng who have given it in full details. The informations i got here together with the ones i got from my closer associates confirms that i have a traditional and judicial right over my mum's shop.

But, one funny thing here is that my elder brother, the first son, seems to be desiring to own the shop because he deemed me too weak to stand for my right. He even said he will forcefuly obtain the documents of the shop from my sister and keep it for himself.

Now, i have decided to go to this my elder brother and boldly ask him to accompany me to my sister's house, for her to offer me the shop's document. If any of them fail me in this, i will immedietly prepare a law-suit. Perhaps that will be the best way to solve it amicably. I do not want to go to those dubious easily corrupted villagers who called themselves umunna!

Came across this in 2024, 9 years later when doing some research.. Please I'm curious to know how this later ended.

D guy certainly hasn't lived in nigeria for upto a week yet! Him quoting me revealed a lot of lapses in his train of thoughts.

To crown it all he called me a troll of his topic. When infact I was having a decent conversation with the person, that expressed fears, doubted the progress of the business and sh1t!

The fact that you constantly kept attacking this business model marvels me... I am actually searching for where to hire a ps4 for the weekend and I just came across this thread.. It's a very beautiful concept and if he is still in the business I will gladly patronise him.. Going to the game centre I will spend half the amount it will cost me to hire but it will inconvenience me.. So I prefer playing it at home my guys.

Why not buy instead?? For the same reason someone will hire a Gwagon or book a Bolt ride to their destination instead of buying the Gwagon or taking a, taxi..

Here is an update.....when I asked him how he felt he said that it was totally up to me and he did not mind. When I asked what would his mother think, he just laughed and said she would love it and that she loves that kind of thing. He said that he would go with me to pick something out, but he suggest something that she could use personally. I was shocked that he chose suggested something that was fragranced....so Bath & Body Works it shall be....I think.....hmmmm.

I came here looking for gift suggestions too but the toxic response under your post got me wondering what some people have been through and i wish they experience genuine love.
