hello mamas... had my baby boy 6.15am 14th February 2014.he weighed 3.7kg after going thru labour for 18hrs..I now know y it is called labour..chei! the tear no b here o!!!

birth story...
started feeling the menstrual cramps and back pain around 9:50am 13/02/2014..got to the hospital around 4pm and when I was checked, I was 2cm dilated with very strong contraction and bulky uterus. meanwhile I hadnt seen any show or water.I was admitted
part 2: contractions continued and I was checked again at 11pm. the doctor said I had gone 6cm.I was feeling good with myself thinking I was progressing fast.
Few minutes after I saw the show and that was when d whole labour started..

So I lay down and the test begun, but I just shut my eyes refusing to look at the monitor. A whole muintue must have gone before I opened my eyes and stared at the monitor. I saw smthg inside the sac ( as I hv gotten accustomed to wat a sac was) but didn't say anythg until the lady( another lady) said, "Madam ur baby is alive & fine, can hear the heartbeat"!!!
I was over joyed and asked her if she was sure and nnarrated to her my history since last 2wks scan. She smiled and said my baby was alive and healthy!
I kept on saying Thank you Jesus & only paused to call hubby & share the great news!

Morning mamas in the house, since d miscarriage, I'm yet to See my period which led me to doing home pt yesterday. And I saw two lines though the 2nd still faint. Could it be hormones frm d last preg(now 36days after d mc) or another pregnancy?

'M home now.scan was done.empty gestational sack.My dh travelled and will be back by weekend.After which we will go to the hosp for the d & C.I hope to recover quick and join this wonderful family soonest.I pray for all expectant mums that you will deliver safely and without any problems.Thanks for your support.

Ok.I think their antenatal registration is 20k. Seeing gynecologist is 3k if u dont register for antenatal. U have 2 book by either calling or going there before 8am. But u get 2 see d docs most times in d evening. ]]
OK no problem,v actually binn using Get well hospital at rijiyar zaki(gwarzo road),I hrd d owner of d hospital is a Gynea too(also wrks at akth) buh I ll weigh my options n select a very gud one cus kano aint safe ryt now.thanks sissis

Can u try standard hospital at Tarauni? The MD, dr hadiza galadanci is d head of gynae dept at aminu kano teaching hospital. I delivered at d hospital. Gynae docs are used for antenatal n not general doc.

100% correct. Niyyah pls go to a govt hospital or a very very good gyn with good reputation. Every pregnant woman MUST take folic acid.

If there is a time that folic acid & fersolate is needed, it is in this critical EARLY developmental stage, folic acid prevents neurological defects while folic acid increases iron in the blood...Try and see a very experienced Obgyn cos of past experience, this time,it will end in great joy.]

Folic acid is recommended for women of reproductive age dat r nt even preg to prepare u for pregnancy and prevent fetal anomalies. Surprised he asked u to stop d folic acid. Pls continue ur folic acid
Please all FTM and mothers wit either history of miscarriages,previous stilbirth,hbp in preg,ttc b4 success and any oda issue shld please endeavour to register in a govt hospital for adequate care and if u r using a private hosp, ensure they hv a consultant gynaecologist and not just regular general practitioner. U deserve the best ooo and the end result is our LOS in our hands wit us both in gud health.. one love alwaz

I think you should go for antenatal right away and let them know about your previous miscarriages. If you can get them to check progesterone and hcg levels. I had 2 miscarriages before getting pregnant...they found out I had low progesterone at 6 weeks and was prescribed d pills. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant.

Am ur teammate n i had a miscarriage n stillbirth consecutively . take ur mind off it, be positive, prayerful n use an expert as ur dr preferably a GH. rmber dt anxiety could b dangerous. Smile cos i blve we will all reach there succcessfully together
