Selecting favorite genre depends on the type of person you are. It might be surprising to think that favorite genre can be chosen depending on the type of person you are. Take for instance if an evangelist is to select a favorite genre you do not expect him to select Fuji, Juju or Hip-hop that is that.

Another factor for selecting favorite genre is the type of song you relate with. All genre of song have a content and is actually communicating with the listener. If you are not relating to a particular rhythm or arrangement of song then definitely that genre is not a favorite.
