Carter Efe, once known for his unwavering support for Wizkid, famously released the hit track “Machala” in tribute to the singer, which topped the Apple Music Nigeria chart and won him massive attention. However, his relationship with Wizkid’s fanbase, known as Wizkid FC, has recently deteriorated.

During a live session with rising artist Khaid, Carter Efe expressed frustration that Wizkid never acknowledged him, despite his loyalty and public support. He went on to accuse the “Essence” crooner of being too prideful, even calling him an “idiot” a remark that triggered severe backlash from fans.

Following the incident, Carter Efe’s TikTok account with 3.4 million followers and his Instagram account with 1.8 million followers were taken down allegedly by furious members of Wizkid FC.

The comedian later appeared on Twitch, crying and pleading with Wizkid’s fans to forgive him and restore his accounts. But with no reconciliation in sight, Carter Efe made a bold move: he tattooed Davido’s 30BG logo on his arm and proudly showed it off during a live session.

His action shocked many, including celebrities like Zlatan Ibile, who reacted with surprise at Carter’s sudden change in loyalty.
