The threat issued by Portable to Charles Okocha has sparked a fierce quarrel between the two Nigerian figures. Portable alleges that Okocha deceived him by keeping 40 million Naira from show promoters in Desmond, Abuja, and only giving him 5 million Naira. November 10 to the Nigerian Police, accused DJ Chicken, identified as Abiodun Ademola, of making life unbearable for her and her family.

Bewaji, the first wife of controversial singer Portable, has filed a petition against controversial disc jockey DJ Chicken for defamation of character and threats to life.

This comes after DJ Chicken, during a live session, claimed to have slept with her before she got married to Portable, and impregnated her. He also alleged that he was the one who deflowered her.

A video of him bragging about having sexual intercourse with her has gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions.

In reaction to this, Bewaji has filed a petition titled ‘Petition against Abiodun Ademola aka DJ Chicken for conspiracy, conduct likely to cause a breach of peace, character assassination, and threat to life’ to the Assistant Inspector General of Police.

She accused him of blackmailing her with claims of being in possession of a video of her sleeping with another man and sending her threatening messages

The mother of two wrote,

The popular American recording Academy organizers of the Grammy awards has pronounced Nigerian ‘Afrobeats’ singer, Burna Boy as the biggest artist in the whole of Africa.

This commendation was part of a statement published on their website recently, specifically congratulating Burna Boy and other nominees for the inaugural category of Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammys.

Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys’ was nominated in the maiden Best African Music Performance category at the 66th Grammys.

‘City Boys’ will contest the award with Davido and Musa Keys’ ‘Unavailable,’ Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush,’ Asake and Olamide’s ‘Amapiano, and Tyla’s ‘Water.’

Burna Boy also bagged nominations in three other categories; ‘Sitting On Top of the World’ featuring 21 Savage – Best Melodic Rap, ‘I Told Them’ – Best Global Music Album, and ‘Alone’ – Best Global Music Performance.
