TV/MoviesRe: Living In Bondage: Breaking Free Reviews And Ratings? by Nnamebuka: 10:00am On May 29, 2020

The movie was amazing amazing! It easily stands out as my best nollywood movie ever. Cant remember when last I watched a Nigerian movie and was impressed; the picture quality, the video transitions, the sound effects and soundtracks. I also loved the way the story perfectly picked up from the old story as a seamless sequel. I enjoyed it so much that I watched it twice! Nothing could be weirder than that.

I agree with the Ramsey Nouah Igbo flaw though, he could have practiced those lines better. Only character I didnt like was the Uzoma dude, he felt too non-nigerian, too misplaced and too fake in my opinion.
Apart from the cinematography nothing else cut it for me in that movie. How would you explain that a young man has been worried over the identity of his biological father only to be presented with a likely lead but he chose to look the other way? When Andy came to Nnamdi with the confession that he is his father I expected that revelation to change the dynamics of the storyline. It's usually inherent among male species to want to know their paternal affiliation in Nigeria if not the world over. They just acted like nothing happened and went on with the movie. It could have been better if they had made Andy get in touch with Nnamdi only at the hospital after maybe repeated failed attempt to see him. And maybe that's where he'll reveal his identity to his son.

I also expected chief Mike (Bob-Manuel Udikwu) to play a prominent role being one of the major stakeholders in the occult of the original LIB. Instead his role could best be described as a waka pass. For a legendary actor like that? Haba!

I won't lie the dialogue was good. No waste of precious time in unnecessary chitchat.

I'm constantly on Mtel unlimited data plan and practically live in Netflix and prefers to watch well researched and executed movies. Movies that add to your I.Q and not all these over-hyped Nigerian movies. However when I decided to give it a shot during this lockdown except for KOB which I thoroughly enjoyed I'd practically left many half-way.

TravelRe: FG To Certify Airlines Before Flights Resume by Nnamebuka: 8:44am On May 28, 2020
Very important if it would not be frought with corruption.

I have promised myself that nothing would make me fly local airlines until at least after one full year from time of resumption.

I pray we never record any mishap in coming months

No atom of professionalism nor human face in the job.

Don't be surprised they have commercialised the whole process

It's not normal 4 two young siblings to die within a very short period. Av seen a family that have successful pple who don't get married. The men who got married have divorced since. The women don't get married at all. In fact two of those women died last yr. One was a lecturer in a federal university the other was a director in a very big company. They're all siblings.
And so what does that have to do with anything bro? Isn't it obvious why you couldn't ace your subject to study medicine in honour of your late brilliant friend when you let your be life ruled by superstitious belief?

The young lady you quoted didn't think anything was amiss in the death of her two brothers within the space of a year. But here you are trying to corrupt her mind by sowing seeds of doubt into it. Now next thing is to begin living a life of fear and second-guessing and suspecting everyone around her including her loved ones and friends.

How are you different from the so-called men of god and babalawos that cause loggerhead amongst families, friends, acquaintances etc with deceptive stories such as you are gearing up to.

STOP IT pls!

prettyangel10:
Thanks. Please, how do you mean when you say their deaths are not normal?
Pls do not mind that guy. There are many people on this planet earth who'd been through worse but didn't attribute it to anything extraordinary. More so such line of thought makes it practically impossible to let go. Pls don't buy into that. Life happens and unfortunately your family had her share. My condolences

What a sad thread, you people want to mess up my day... sad
I'm taken aback by your display of emotions, lols.
Given your history of being forthright and sometimes mean on family related matters here where you holds sway one would think you don't have a heart literally.

Maybe the thread reminds you of your own loss too. Take heart if it is. At the end, we're all humans sha.

Mean as you usually come across to me, I do appreciate your maturity, forthright-ness and unalloyed principle. A man should stand his ground.

Stop masturbating and your life would experience a positive turn around.
Check my only thread on my profile. But if it's not masturbation then I apologise. May God cause you to find a meaning to your life

Though I am from east of the Niger, I tell people that the Yoruba's still remain the most intelligently tactful region in this nation, the day they choose to secede, they will do it effortlessly without brute, force, insults or intimidation, that is why I respect their intellect, and despise some of my brothers who feel Nnamdi KANU ways are the right ways for the IBO's, it is quite degrading to the intellect of the whole race, a no body with no blue print for self actualization, apart from insults and intimidations, and my people are too emotional and sensitized to see through falsehood! I respect and must commend the South west for charting a part to peaceful farming, stability and economic sustenance of its people, without barting an eyelid or raising in relevant dust
You are a closet tribalist and so no one is buying your impersonated opinion.

BTW your so-called "intelligence and tact" was brought into serious question when you were played into electing someone with no positive leadership antecedent to be your chief security officer and C. in C only to turn around to gather miscreants and dregs of your society to secure you. Whatever happened to your C.in.C whom you "intelligently and tactfully" elected to secure you?

I'm not one to pander to tribe nor even race but some of you makes it difficult for one to choose a neutral stand. Nonsense!
