kams19: Those going to Teeside University, it means we will spend at least 3million naira all together before visa application. that's checking Everything required plus £4k deposit. The only expense before the visa and CAS application is the 4k deposit. After which you will show POF 10707 pounds which is about 5.8m today using oanda currency converter |

wolewole200: In my last phone conversation with one of the Admission officers, he said the list concerning the scholarship will be released around May but that I should go ahead with paying for the deposit. What that means I can't actually say.
I have however concluded that if the scholarship comes after payment, it may cover the next session or something. My mind is not fixed on this though. If I eventually go to Teeside then I'm paying the deposit next month because I'm expecting the decision of another University by April 30.
Hope this helps Thank you for this. |

wolewole200: Your deposit is £4,000 and all you have to show is the balance of £3,500 plus the living expenses of £9,250 or thereabouts. Also, they are likely to give you a discount of between £1,500 - £2,000, that leaves you a tuition balance of about 2,000.
Hope this helps. BTW, I have an offer there too and got a discount of £2,000 which was automatic. Apart from that I applied for the VC Scholarship which I am expecting a decision soon. Hello, I applied for the VC scholarship too. I was thinking the scholarship application was unsuccessful when I did not see anything about it on my offer letter. My question now is are we suppose to expect mail from them stating whether the application was successful or not? |

2nex: Please, I will like to know when applying on university's website, should one upload his waec certificate or English certificate? or one will have to wait till the school make request for it? Thank you. Its better to upload the English thingy when applying so that you will get an unconditional offer when you eventually get considered instead of a conditional offer. Do you understand? |

Hello everyone.
I just got a conditional offer from Teesside University. I already sent my WAEC certificate to them so as to get my unconditional offer ASAP. My question now is that should I accept the conditional offer or should I wait for my unconditional letter offer?
Thank you |

angelss813: Can I use my sponsor's account or it is better I move the money to my personal account? Kindly help suggest banks that processes the form A request within 7-10 working days.
Thank you
Please and please to avoid long story, let your sponsor transfer the money to your account. Then if the interviewer ask you the source your money, tell them that it's your Mum or Dad that transferred the funds into your account, and you too have been saving to support your self. Be ready to know the income of your Mum/Dad and what job or business they do.
I used WEMA Bank, it was debited within 5 working days. I didn't give them any breathing space and telex was sent to my email Eco Bank and Stanbic Bank is also faster Thank you |

Hi everyone,
Is there anyone that applied to Teesside University recently? I submitted my application few days ago and they are yet to revert. I only got a consent mail from them which is to enable them access my info on UKVI's platform or something.
My question is how long does it take Teesside to respond to an application?
Thanks |

angelss813: Please I need enlightenment, when paying my deposit, am I to use western union or bank transfer? Or Which one is the form A I see on the thread all the time?
Form A is much cheaper for payment of Tuition fees. Use a Bank that it's transaction are faster. Don't try Banks that twill take a month before you are debited. When you get to the bank ask for Form A, go with the following documents: admission letter, university invoice, BSc Certificate, international passport and Authorization letter written by you to Debit your naira account with the equivalent. Some Banks takes 7-10 working days before they debit you and a Telex will be sent to your email address. My own experience Can I use my sponsor's account or it is better I move the money to my personal account? Kindly help suggest banks that processes the form A request within 7-10 working days. Thank you |

Hinxx: You won’t be able to get this information online unless you walk to your preferred bank branch to make an inquiry, even at that, any quoted rate is subject to change at the point of making payment, either +/- . Just have money in excess to allow for bank charges and currency fluctuation. Thank you for this. I just want to have an idea though. Probably a range of Form A rate for GBP. |
