Don't look for red flags. Ask God for discernment to know the one he wants for you when you see them. No one is without fault or weakness that looks like red flags.

These are the words of a great man. He only returned to his passion. Politics he said is not a means of livelihood but an opportunity to serve. In other words, power is for impact. A power in hand without impact in mind will slap the receiver ten times when the time is right. angry

lawani:
If you get a job offer in China you relocate to China or wouldn't you? If you get a scholarship to China you study there and you can get a job there as a result of that. If Nigerian universities are well run, there will be Chinese students coming for their PhDs here. When I was an undergraduate at ife there were North Africans that were in the department opposite mine that were my seniors as undergraduates. The presence of one good scholar as staff in one department in a Nigerian university can attract PhD students from all over the world and when they finish they can get a job in the country and stay. That is how it works. In the 70s there were Americans and Europeans doing undergraduate studies in UI and etc
Relocation is not for everyone bros. The grass is not greener on the other side but only greenest wherever God places you or wants you to be. Many people wants to relocate in a hurry but what truly determines a person success in a place is the spirits that walks with him. If it's a bad spirit, changing location will not change the situation.

If God spares him or if God permits him. This world is not running on auto pilot o oga. God oversees everything and anything that happens in government only happen because he permits it for reasons best known to him.

If it's God's will then it will happen but if it's not, it's mission impossible.

Rice too is the same bcus you can eat more of it. Drinking garri to me is for fun and sometimes to quench midnite hunger when there's no available food.
The truth is you can't just load drinking garri in your belly bcus you want to belleful, but you can load rice in your belly. So with that I get your point.

Not everything should be taken too seriously Solo. You should understand that media and gaining public attention has always been a source of living to them.

Everything may not seem perfect now and they may have made some mistakes. They are learning from it and time always has its way of fixing things.

Below is Luke 17:20, 21.

20.When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. 21.Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

According to the verse above, was Jesus telling the Pharisees that the present invisible kingdom is the kingdom Christ said is within us which he rules over and came to establish at his first coming, According to you, was within them?
I don't debate scriptures or try to prove supremacy in it. I only thrive more to live by the few I have learned. When Christ told the Pharisees that kingdom of God is within them, he was not only talking to them. He was only telling them that the kingdom of God (invisible) which he had established by his coming was already present both to them, everyone in the world at that time and all who will come. And it's open to whoever would want access by faith in him.

I out of here. Ponder on the answers I gave and do deligent research to learn more.

Bye. smiley

Truthseeker10:
What does Daniel 2:44 say about the kingdom of God since you claim it is within us.
‎When I quoted the words of Christ that the kingdom of God is within us, I never imply the kingdom of God does not exist or heaven as people call it. I only try to specify that it's not a location somewhere in the sky as many people believe.
‎
‎There is the present invisible kingdom of God and the future physical kingdom of God.
‎
‎The present invisible kingdom is the kingdom Christ said is within us which he rules over and came to establish at his first coming.
‎
‎The future physical kingdom is the eternal kingdom of God when Christ will come at his second coming to rule over all things and every human kingdoms or government will cease to exist. That's what Daniel 2 you posted describes.
‎
‎The kingdom of God is the same as heaven and some people live in it either continuously or unconsciously.
‎
‎It's a realm of absolute peace and fearlessness where nothing of the world disturbs you or cause you to panic. It's like you are in the world but not in it at the same time. In the world but not of the world.
‎
‎The believe of the heaven in the sky or hell beneath stem for the misinterpretation of God's word.
‎
God mostly speak in symbols (heaven's language) but we expect him to always speak as humans do and that's the root of most misinterpretations.
‎
‎Some meaning or words in the Bible or dreams and vision we get from God cannot always be taken literally.
‎
‎God is a spirit. He speaks from the spiritual. And when it is received in the physical, it's our responsibility to find what it means in the spiritual and not rely on the physical essence and failure to do so only cause more misinterpretations and misinformation.

God bless you Truth Seeker. smiley

Celebrities › Re: Peller Is 21 And Jarvis Is 25 Years Old, Can This Relationship Work? by Nobellight77(m): 3:30am On Jul 27
It will work if they are actually met to be with each other.

For every individual, there is only one twin flame or a few soul mates.

Most of the time, God orchestrated that they pass our path. We meet them and know they are like no other when see them but sometimes turn away because they would mostly not like what we expected, want or envision.

We let them go with the false hope that we would always find another replica of them elsewhere in a better version only to keep searching for all eternity.

For two persons that are met for each other, age or physical attributes is not always a factor.

What you see in the other person is the soul. You constantly see yourself in the other person like your are looking at yourself in a mirror because you have always been one.

Lovely child. If I were an opponent, I would have counter the notion that rice is better because rice is a balanced diet but garri is not. Garri would only act to have remove the hunger but only for a short while. Eat garri 8am and you get hungry again by 10am but eat balanced rice with fish or meat by 8am you stay hunger free till 3pm. grin

teepain:
If you read my post carefully, I never claimed that all northerners are bad. Quite frankly, I believe there are many noble northerners and I have some as friends.

However, like I do believe, hiding criminality under the toga of religion is a very crazy thing. It becomes worse when one now considers that the agenda is taking on some expansionist goals and subjugation of other ethnic groups.

I repeat that any !diot still carrying arms killing innocent people should be tried according to the laws of the land which prescribe death for murderers. The risk of failing to enforce this law is that other ethnic groups might learn from the playbook of these bloodsuckers and then, God forbids, it becomes a free for all! That is why government and all of us need to act decisively to put a stop to this madness.
Yes, you never claimed all northerners are bad. I only used the north to explain as many suspect and believe that the problem stem from the north.

I did not say the society should permit murder or murderers either. God demands capital punishment for all murderers.

I only suggested that before the law raise its fist against law breakers, it can by mercy bend and search for those who are willing to change their ways.

Check history, some world heroes rose from unlikely people and places like prison and near death hospital patients who thought they had already had their last breadth and all hope was lost.

Nothing is useless in the sight of God. If he could change water to wine, he can turn black to white too.
Travel › Re: Bus Preaching Distracts Drivers, Can Lead To Breach Of Peace – MURIC Backs FRSC by Nobellight77(m): 6:41pm On Jul 26
Guestmale:
I doubt if you're an evangelistic christian as you claim here( I'm very sorry for thinking that)If the noise from the music player in the bus being played by the driver didn't distract the driver,is it the preaching that will now distract him. If tomorrow another law come from the government and says don't preach on the radio or television, don't hold open crusade, don't preach on the street and don't preach online but limit your preaching inside the church are we not going to obey it because it comes from constituted authority.

How then are we going to obey the directive of our Lord Jesus Christ in
Mark 16:15 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

We christians are to obey the laws from constituted authority as long as it doesn't go against the commandment and will of God.
I do not claim to be anything. I just try to live the best way I can daily for the good of humanity.

Yes, Jesus Christ my God and Lord told us to go into the world and preach the gospel and I have stated it several times that there are several ways and opportunities to do that.

A mother once placed a child under my care some time ago to teach and the child asked a brilliant question and I could not tell how that question lead to a brief sermon and I led the child to Christ using the Romans 10:9 principle as guide. I knew something extraordinary happened that day the way it occurred.

I notice today the child standing in unwavering faith reasoning like an adult and asking intelligent questions from portions of the bible that I have not even read.

Why we preach, it is important to know that it is God who saves and not our sermon and he can do that in ways and times we least expect.

You also said we are to obey the laws from constituted authority as long as it doesn't go against the commandment and will of God.

This is very true. No one ever said we are to obey and follow all government laws. But while we choose not to follow any, we should not intentionally rebel against it either.

In most cases, the voice of government is also the voice of God. God is secretly behind most constituted authorities controlling the affairs of humanity and he is aware of every law that is established in every land.

Notice while Jesus Christ constantly rebuked the Pharisees, he never rebelled against a government in the Bible because He is the head of all government. Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God He would always say.

‎From what I read, it seems you went in search for a virgin and not a wife. It is God who gives a good wife and if he chooses to bring her as a virgin also, that's his own choice to make.
‎
‎Deliberately searching or looking for a virgin as a criteria for marriage in modern times is outdated.
‎
‎There are ladies on long gowns during the day and in the night clubs at night. There are others who walk almost naked in public during the day but are fervent prayer warriors all night.
