Drenched in confusion , she continued crawling . Drawing out her shivering hands she turned the body to meet a nightmare that threw her off balance .

There and then , memories came rushing .


The dangling body on her ceiling who was a victim of sucide was no other person but her ! .

It made sense to her now .


After the partying with friends , she was left alone and depressed . The flashes of her son's death took advantage of her .

He was only five and innocent .

The incident was still fresh in her mind . She still remembered how that trailer had smashed her only son away from her . Remembering his spilled blood on the road side have her enough reasons to not live again .

It was too much to bear !

It was all clear to her now , she had committed sucide the previous night in her depression .


But


" Wasn't she suppose to be dead ? "

" Why was still there staring at her flesh ? "

" Where was hell with it's burning sting ? "

" Where was her son in death ? "

" Why did she feel alive ? "

" Why ? Wasn't death the end of pain ? " .

All these she wondered .

Walking closer and staring at her body , the truth came blaring at her face and then , she realized that , THERE WAS NO PAIN , SHE WAS THE PAIN .

After everything is said and done
Bad dreams and nightmares
Chased away by the coming dawn
Demons stashed into nightstand drawers
Everything the same routine
Fight to fall asleep
Get only maybe an our or two
Half way making it through both night and day
Instead of being away and alert the next day
Just barely keep my eyes open
Keeping up with daily demands
Leaves me even more exhausted
Making sleep the next night even more impossible
Nightmares creeping back into me
Overly vivid dreams making me crazy
Pray that they go away soon
Quit messing with my head
Resting my eyes has turned to hell
Sleepless, sleepless nights
Tortured by what seems to be a plague

While laying in my bed
Xanadu for me would be a peaceful sleep

Good job bro but it'll be lovely if you structure your poem to be: 1 couplet, 1 quatrain and 1 tercet. There is a run on line in line 4,5,6

Well written bro but let your poem be structured. We should understand how many stanzas your poem has and also know if there is any run on line.
