Politics › Re: Osun LG Crisis: Stay Away From Local Government Secretariats - Gov Adeleke by Noblechykk(m): 6:17am On Feb 18, 2025 |
SatoshiX: This circus governor is just a proper clown. If the President cannot remove a siting government because they were both democratically elected, why should a governor forcefully remove the duly elected LG chairmen before the expiration of their terms? The governor didn't remove them. The court did |

chopnaira: They were. PDP won in high court. APC won in Appeal court. Nobody reinstated them. There are two cases. The one filed by PDP and the one filed by APM I think. Appeal court struck out PDP petition on technical ground but APM's is still subsisting. Are you clear now? |
Politics › Re: Sacked Osun State LG Chairmen, Councillors Can’t Return To Office – PDP by Noblechykk(m): 6:01am On Feb 18, 2025 |
seunmsg: The Court of Appeal judgement clearly reinstated the sacked Local Government Chairmen. It’s unfortunate that PDP is being absolutely irresponsible by trying to frustrate the enforcement of a valid judgement of the court.
PDP’s rascality notwithstanding, I will appeal to APC and the law enforcement agencies to allow the status quo remain until the matter is decided by the Supreme Court. 2face, kindly show us the CTC of the judgment |

Iceberg3: Lagos assembly invited dss and same dss sealed up the entrance to the complex and also sealed up the office of the speaker....
And these koneheaded open mouth to call others headless mobs!!!
So much for genuine headless chickens Including the office of the clerk that allegedly invited them. Funny |
Politics › Re: Leaked Memo Shows DSS Was Invited To Lagos Assembly by Noblechykk(m): 5:48am On Feb 18, 2025 |
Dogalmighty17: Nigerian security agencies behave like dunces and morons. If they had received an invitation to the complex, would it not have made more sense to secure the premises while at the same time, allow the proceedings at the assembly go on unimpeded?
Secondly, isn't the DSS supposed to be the one providing the clerk of the house with Intel regarding any threat instead of the other way round? And having established that reports of such threats are credible, isn't it the right thing to do to invite for questioning or place under surveillance anyone who is suspected of intending to disrupt the business of the Lagos house of assembly?
If earlier reports are true that the speaker was not informed as to why the complex was sealed off, aren't there DSS agents attached to the speaker? Are they ignorant of their organizations directives as well?
If the agents behind the threat to distabilise the assembly are not identified and sanctioned, how long will the complex remain locked down? Will it keep being locked up anytime reports of possible disruptions arise?
A competent organisation would have handled the matter better instead of this mess that has created uncertainty and left eggs on the face of the president. Kindly make a post on this. Those are critical questions that need answers |

ElevationD: There was nothing like that in the first place. The new Security law is made to tackle crimes in all forms. Emphasis is laid on get - rich - quick businesses. The torchlight is on native doctors, false prophets, kidnappers, yahoo boys, armed robbers and other forms of crimes.
Women are free to go about their affairs without fear of molestation from anyone. That matter was from an overzealous announcer in one of the towns. It has happened in my presence last year at head bridge last year. I know what I am saying |

sirpharrell: where in this report did the lawmakers threaten anarchy?
It is a pity that Femi Falana has allowed himself to be reduced to this low level of wilfully spreading lies and fake information that he knows to be fake. I don't just get it. Is Falana that hungry? Gani Fawhenmi would be shaking in his grave by now.
You don't even have to be a lawyer to know that with the withdrawal of his appeal by the Governor and the subsequent dismissal of the appeal, the judgement of Justice Omotosho is now law. That judgement has settled the question of who the rightful Speaker of the Assembly is. Any action contrary to that judgement is in contempt of the Supreme Court. Two can play the game. It is not only Wike that knows how to explore loopholes in the law. Fubara has learnt it. If you must know, the case in question started before they decamped. So as we speak, the crux of the matter is that they are no longer members of River state house of Assembly |

alcaptainero: In court today, our lawyers filed a counter affidavit, stating that a similar matter is already before the Supreme Court for judgment. However, the lawyers representing Opobo Judas argued that the judge should proceed with the case.
In his wisdom, the judge ruled that he cannot assume powers or share jurisdiction with the Supreme Court. Consequently, he adjourned the case to April 30, 2025.
Once the Supreme Court delivers its judgment, all related matters will naturally come to an end. If it is like that, the judge would have struck the case out. Adjourning it means a lot of things |

Politics › Re: Igbo Solution To Numerous Anti lgbo Threads by Noblechykk(m): 9:03am On Feb 17, 2025 |
nedu666: Some individuals have made it a commitment to create numerous anti lgbo threads on a hourly and daily basis. The solution to numerous anti lgbo threads lies with lgbos ignoring such threads. Igbos should learn from the north the power of silence. Silence is deadly when trying to shut an irritant up. Just as northerners don't respond to threads about them, lgbos must adopt same measure in frustrating their enemies.
From today lgbos should ignore threads by following hielnus, plaindealer, omenka, seunmsg, leoking and many others.
Rather than respond to their negative thread about lgbos, open your on thread and post positive things about lgbos. Let the losers come and comment in your own thread rather than you going to comment on their own thread. In that way you frustrate them
Example on the anti lgbo threads about a water tanker been used to quench fire. ignored their threads and opened his own thread show casing anambra fire service. The result saw the losers come into his thread shouting you suffer from inferiority complex, who is competing with you bla bla bla because by opening his thread he took away attention from their anti lgbo threads.
Remember without lgbos response and attention no anti lgbo thread can exceed a page. Ignore fools online like you will ignore fools in real life Exactly the same thing I am telling those ones on twitter who are paying Wendell smill's bill unknowingly but giving him engagement. We are too big to be responding to those riff raffs |
