TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Noblemikey(m): 1:31am On Jan 10, 2019
Hello Guys,

I have been a follower of this thread for years now. I have had my stint of applications and withdrawal from the embassy(for work related reasons though). I have learnt a lot here, thanks everyone for the time to make sure prospective students are properly guided. Considering each case comes with its own peculiarity, I’ll appreciate if I can be guided on the following:

I was just informed that I cannot take up statutory health insurance because I just turned 30years of age. Is there any other health insurance I can subscribe to? Can a private health insurance outside Germany suffice? Would Fintiba plus solve this challenge?

Thanks guys!

I think they are asking for the last page of the Transcript (see attached)

Ekykool:
Please any graduate from Anambra State University here?

Uni-assist sent this to me:
Unfortunately, we cannot calculate your grades because an explanation of the grading system applied at your university is missing. Please send us a link to your university's
grading system as soon as possible. You can also send us a PDF file with the official
grading system of your university by e-mail or upload it to your uni-assist account.[\b]

Can a graduate of ANSU help me with a link or PDF file? I can't find it on the school website

If you are very sure of the funding or sponsorship letter and not relying on the scholarship document from that company, pm me. Shalom

Good Morning Everyone,
I have been a follower of this forum since Jan 2017. Hardly posted any comment though as I have found responses to other posts very helpful. This my case is a little peculiar, hence this humble plea for your advice.

I received my admission letter on the 12th of July, 2017 for - MSc. Business Intelligence and Process Management - Winter Semester • Berlin School of Economics and Law. Ever since then I have been on the Visa Issue. I have accepted and secured my admission (German Health Insurance inclusive), this, however, is just valid for the 2017/2018 admission calendar.

1. In the light of the Visa appointment being booked out, the institution has sent direct correspondences to the consulate pleading for a consideration; this however without a reply - Would it be okay to visit the Consulate to call their attention to the correspondences?
2. Prior to my Visa application, I opened a Fintiba account (not funded yet though) as I have a fully sponsored study leave from the company I work with - Would the consulate consider that as a scholarship and not request for the 8K++ Euros deposit?

Please guys, kindly advice. The institution is really willing to assist with my application
