I understand your point actually. But if you can afford the car i dont think bringing in the parts should be a problem. I n addition if someone buys a car like this i dont think its a car that person will be driving everyday, mayb an every friday ride if a muslim or every sunday ride if a xtian and with such usage that person may not even need to service it in a year although that is predicated upon how good the engine is but all things being equal in 2years sef you may not need to service let alone having need to replace any part. Dat come to price cars these days always want to know if a car has ever been driven in nigeria, how many ppl has d car etc. D truth is most of like showing off U know d effizy tin. i can comfortably tell U dat who ever is going to buy d car is not buying because he really needs it, its just for the fact dat he will b d only person drivin d car in abj or phc. i have an uncle who owns a jaguar convertible xk8 a couple of years ago despite d fact dat d parts were not common he still d car and he had to import d parts from d US cos d price here for d belgium parts were almost d same.

Uuuum, in this situation I will choose the Hyundai. But please, the Lexus RX is not over hyped. It is a very solid luxury cuv in its class and it is respected worldwide, not just in Nigeria like u say. It is not a glorified camry either. Lexus RX has been on top of the highest selling luxury cars in the USA for many years, if it is that bad like u put it, then it wouldn't be on top. Just do a little research of best selling luxury cuv in north america and see for urself or are the people buying them in those countries niegeians? Consumer reports don't lie.
