mcbreeze: I'm surprised House rep could see this fast. But failed to arrest those championing Igbo eviction from Lagos. Lagospedia is yet to be arrested and many of them.
MC olomu threaten Igbo and executed, yet House of rep didn't see.
I'm not supporting the stupidity and bile of the lady but selective judgement is not helpful to the growth of this nation.

immortalcrown: The news covers Imo State, Anambra State, and Boko Haram activities in many northern states. But the recaption is about IPOB. Why?
Many paragraphs in the news talk about Boko Haram activities in the northern states. Only one paragraph talks about the man suspected to be a member of IPOB. So, why is the caption about IPOB?
Troops of Nigerian Army deployed in Imo State under 82 division, have successfully trailed and arrested four suspects connected to the kidnap of retired Major General Richard Duru.
An Army statement said, “The suspects, when nabbed, had attempted to bribe the troops with the sum of Five Million Naira (N5,000,000), but was turned down by the troops.
“The troops rather seized the bribe money, totaling N5,048,105, along with three vehicles, six laptops and a cash-counting machine.
“In Anambra State, troops apprehended a notorious member of the Indigenous People of Biafra/Eastern Security Network (IPOB/ESN), Sunday Ofordimze Asika, also known as Aboy Ekwensu.
“The suspect, who has been on the security agencies’ watchlist, is part of a criminal syndicate terrorizing citizens of Ugu Npologu and Ezinifite communities in Aguta Local Government Area.
“Recovered items during this operation included six cartridges, five machetes, a laptop, a vehicle, and assorted charms.
“In Cross River State, troops conducting waterway patrols have intercepted an automated wooden boat used by armed criminals at Ikang village in Bakassi Local Government Area of the state
“The suspects who fled upon sighting the troops abandoned a pump-action rifle, three cartridges, a 40 HP boat engine, and the sum of Fifty Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N50,500).
“Troops have recovered the abandoned items.
“Similarly, troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralized several terrorists, and recovered a significant cache of arms, ammunition, as well as terrorists’ logistics in Borno and Yobe states
“These operations have in a significant measure, dealt a blow to terrorists’ activities in the affected communities.
“On 27 August 2024, acting on credible intelligence, troops ambushed Boko Haram terrorists at Logomani village in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.
“In the ensuing exchange of fire, the troops neutralized five terrorists and recovered one AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and two bicycles.
“In another operation in Gwoza Local Government Area, 11 Boko Haram fighters, along with their family members, voluntarily surrendered to the troops.
“The terrorists stated that they could no longer withstand the firepower of the Nigerian Army, prompting their decision to surrender.
“In Yobe State, troops laid an ambush for Boko Haram terrorists logistics supply route at Wulle village in Gujba Local Government Area.
“During the confrontation, two terrorists were neutralized by the superior firepower of the troops.
“Recovered items from the scene included one FN rifle, a magazine, and a bicycle.
“These operations highlight the Nigerian Army’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the nation and its citizens.
“The troops remain vigilant and continue to execute their duties with unwavering resolve, as they professionally serve the nation.”
masterfactor: That is their hand work, other people doing legit hustle irritates them. The society which they come from support it, even chieftaincy title is given to drug dealers in their region.
The now viral incident on the train in the United Kingdom, involving a woman and a white man, has again brought to the fore the behaviour of some Nigerians who bring the name of our country into disrepute.
Why was she so rude and antagonistic? And why did she tell everyone who cared to listen that we are all like that? She is wrong. We are not all like that.
Many Nigerians, including the Olukumi Yorubas, have a deep-seated and age-long culture of respect.
And another question everybody seems to avoid is this: Why was she triggered when the white man revealed that he was married to a Yoruba woman? Why did that information unleash the response it did in her?
Does anybody know the identity of that woman? Please help me out.
We need to understand that foreign countries are not as dumb as you think they are. They are keeping data. They are aware of subtle differences among Nigerians. Sadly, they are now discriminating against some Nigerians.
I went to Kenya and was shocked how hostility initially directed at me eased when they found out what part of Nigeria I come from.
Google and read what the President of Kenya, William Ruto, said about Nigerians and how he isolated some particular Nigerians for special mention.
It is not good. We need to clean up our act.
I visited Peru and toured a particularly notorious prison with an assistant after Asari Dokubo made an allegation against a Presidential candidate. I have video evidence, because I know my country people. Some of my people's gaslighting behaviour forces me to keep meticulous records.
I can tell you that the allegation made against the Presidential candidate is false, and the candidate, who is now a major opposition figure, is not guilty or linked with anything regarding drugs.
However, in their prison in Lima, Peru, all the Nigerian prisoners there come from only one region, except one, who was a Northerner. I was shocked. So I insisted on investigating further. Long story short, he was also from that region but used a fake Hausa name.
I went to Cambodia, and the situation there is similar.
And let me not talk of India. Please fact-check me: Almost 92% of Nigerians arrested for drug offences in India are Nigerians from one region. Most of the rest of the 8% are Nigerians with names like Gladys Daniel, Remigius Fabian, making it impossible to identify what part of Nigeria they come from.
Just as Edo state has a problem with prostitution (please face the truth. Don't get angry. It is TRUE!!!), one region of our country has a challenge with some anti-social activities.
But all of us bear the consequences.
I kid you not, in Bangladesh and Pakistan, immigration officers go as far as asking for your ethnic origin if you say you are Nigerian. Why do they want to know what ethnicity you come from?
But even our government cannot address it because if you try to address it, people, including leaders from these places, will make it about ethnicity, so it becomes an elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about.
It is not to insult me. Look into these statements. Have I lied? If you know in your conscience that I have not lied, then take group action to do something about it.
