Foreign AffairsRe: Netanyahu To Present Trump With New Iran Attack Plans During US Visit — Report by Noftaj(m): 7:18am On Dec 22, 2025
Who told you Israel has missiles and drones they never touched? So what missiles and drones have they been using against Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria in the last two years? Israel's missile production is not even as diversed and in large scale as that of Iran and that's why if it comes to missiles for missiles, it won't stand a chance against Iran.
Originality007:
Dont forget israel also haves missles and drones which dey never touch. What if israel too decided to send to missles and drones to iran, combine with precision air strike, what do u think would have happen to iran. Dont forget dey dont have any air defence system as that time of that 12dyas wars
Foreign AffairsRe: Netanyahu To Present Trump With New Iran Attack Plans During US Visit — Report by Noftaj(m): 7:00am On Dec 22, 2025
Except that Israel doesn't have such number of missiles to fire. During the past war in June, by the time it reached 10 days of the war, Israel was already running dangerously low on interceptor missiles while Iran was just tapping into their most advanced missiles. So Israel with interceptor missiles that couldn't last two weeks won't be able to fire attack missiles of 10 to 1 against Iran, known as having the largest arsenal of ballistic and most advanced missiles in that region.
Foreign AffairsRe: US Launches Wave Of Air Strikes On Yemen's Houthis by Noftaj(m): 2:35pm On Mar 16, 2025
They were attacking ships then because of the war in Gaza in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. Shortly before Trump was sworn in, he facilitated a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel and that's why they stopped their operations in the red sea. So it was not the fear of Trump that made them stop attacking ships linked to Israel, it was the ceasefire in place that made them stop.
buJu234:
i have been asking eversince, that immediately trump was sworn into office. YEMEN Houtis just disappeared from the media space.

they just kept mute, not missile to Israel or stopping or bombing any ship on the Red sea eversince..

of a truth, a strong leader stops criminality.

It's a good thing. I also teach grade 10 and 11 Mathematics to students in Canada and I don't even use Zoom. I use the video feature of WhatsApp call. However, you need to be familiar with their syllabus because some areas are slightly different from our syllabus in Nigeria. But overall, it's all fun!

That's the Upwork's (one of the two largest Freelancing platforms in the world) infograph on talent gap in 2023. With your laptop and smartphone, you can conveniently fill some gaps either in tech or non-tech categories. But you have to learn the skills first, which I believe was the reason why you asked the questions. Whichever one you eventually decide upon, there are several online courses, from different Universities, big tech companies and global organisations, either free or paid, from where you can learn how to acquire the skills listed and also get their certificates.
I can't start posting links here. However, you may get in touch if you need one.

EducationWhy Nigerian Youths Should Consider Investing In Creating And Selling Ebooks by Noftaj(op): 3:18pm On Apr 26, 2023
The world is changing rapidly, and the way we do things is evolving. One of the most significant changes is how we consume information. With the advent of the internet, the traditional method of reading books has been replaced by digital media. This shift has created a new opportunity for Nigerian youths to invest in creating and selling ebooks.

Ebooks are digital versions of books that can be read on electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. They are convenient, affordable, and can be easily distributed worldwide. The demand for ebooks has been on the rise, and this presents a unique opportunity for Nigerian youths to tap into the market.

One of the reasons why Nigerian youths should invest in creating and selling ebooks is the low cost of production. Unlike traditional books, ebooks do not require printing, shipping, or storage costs. This means that the production cost of ebooks is significantly lower, making it a viable business opportunity for Nigerian youths, who may not have access to large amounts of capital.

Another reason why Nigerian youths should consider investing in creating and selling ebooks is the potential for passive income. Once an ebook is created and published, it can generate income for years to come without any additional effort required. This makes it an attractive investment opportunity for Nigerian youths who may be looking for a way to earn income while pursuing other interests or career paths.

Moreover, creating and selling ebooks provides Nigerian youths with a platform to share their knowledge and expertise with the world. Nigerian youths have a wealth of knowledge and skills that can be shared with a global audience through ebooks. This allows Nigerian youths to establish themselves as experts in their fields, which can open up doors to new opportunities and collaborations.

Additionally, creating and selling ebooks is a flexible business opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the world. Nigerian youths can work from the comfort of their homes, which eliminates the need for a physical location, and reduces overhead costs. This makes it an accessible business opportunity for Nigerian youths who may not have access to a traditional office space.

In conclusion, Nigerian youths should consider investing in creating and selling ebooks because it is a low-cost, flexible, and potentially profitable business opportunity that allows them to share their knowledge and expertise with the world. With the rise of digital media, the demand for ebooks is on the rise, and Nigerian youths have the opportunity to tap into this market and establish themselves as experts in their fields. By investing in creating and selling ebooks, Nigerian youths can create a sustainable source of income and build a successful career.

PoliticsRe: Why Tribunal Sacked Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke by Noftaj(m): 3:32pm On Jan 27, 2023
Tmex:
This judgement can not stand. How did the tribunal decide to reduce the overvoted sum from the PDP's score. What pointer does the judge have that suggests it wasnt APC was actually involved in the over voting spree.
That's not the way it works. The votes in the affected polling units are cancelled for both parties, but because they are the stronghold of the PDP, the cancelation affects the party more than the APC.
Science/TechnologyTech Trends To Watch Out For In 2023 by Noftaj(op): 4:22pm On Jan 01, 2023
It is difficult to predict specific tech trends that will emerge in 2023, as the technology landscape is constantly evolving and new developments can arise unexpectedly. However, there are a few areas that are likely to see significant advancements in the coming years:

1. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML): AI and ML will continue to drive innovation and transformation across a wide range of industries, from healthcare to finance to transportation. We can expect to see further development of natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and other AI-powered technologies.

2. Internet of Things (IoT): The IoT refers to the interconnected network of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other objects that are equipped with sensors, software, and other technologies to enable them to collect and exchange data. The IoT is expected to continue to grow and expand in the coming years, with more and more devices becoming connected and interoperable.

3. 5G and edge computing: The deployment of 5G networks is expected to accelerate in the coming years, bringing faster and more reliable mobile connectivity to more parts of the world. Edge computing, which refers to the processing of data closer to the source rather than in a centralized location, will also become more prevalent as a way to reduce latency and improve the performance of IoT and other applications.

4. Virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR): VR and AR technologies are expected to continue to mature and become more widely adopted in the coming years, with applications ranging from entertainment to education to training and beyond.

4. Blockchain: Blockchain technology, which enables the creation of decentralized, secure, and transparent digital ledgers, is expected to continue to gain traction and find new applications in a variety of sectors, including finance, supply chain management, and more.

6. Cybersecurity: As the number and complexity of cyber threats continues to grow, we can expect to see further development of technologies and strategies for protecting against cyber attacks, such as advanced threat intelligence and machine learning-based security solutions.

Feel free to add yours. Thank you.

CareerWhat Difference Can Online Skills Certifications Make? Part 1 by Noftaj(op):
THE DIARY OF A LEARNING ADVISOR

It's becoming clearer to me to the reasons why celebrities and social media influencers are called what they are called "influencers"

An issue that people ordinarily gloss over could be elevated to a serious point of discussion online when they weigh in into such.

Such was the case when Reno Omokri challenged his followers on social media to make positive use of their phones and computers to make money and learn in-demand skills rather than just for internet gossips and paparazzi.

I was surprised at the way people reacted and were willing to have someone lead them through the "know-how" of some of the skills he mentioned as money-spinners.

As someone who could relate well with his opinion, having taken many courses online with not a few certifications and still counting, I made a few comments on these posts on Facebook and questions were coming in torrents.

How do I start? How can I learn online? Who can put me through the knowledge? Can I get industry-recognised certificates through online courses? How does it work? Are they difficult to learn?and so on.

Those who sent me messages based on my comments on his post to enlighten them about how to get enrolled in different skills certifications courses wondered why I haven't been sharing my knowledge of how online education works with people when they saw how seamless and efficient the system had become.

But they were clearly wrong! I've been an advocate of using online education to fill the skills gaps and have had to call on people to key into the project and find something more useful to do with phones and computers.

In fact, I'd conducted two trainings on how to learn just any modern skills online for free and even get certificates from top universities, big tech companies, regional and global organisations.

I'd offered people very cheap and credible paths to learning skills like Programming, Data Analytics, Website Development, Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, Soft skills, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Online Teaching Delivery, Course Creation, Human Resources, Financial Analysis, Project Management, Software Development, Graphics Design, Language Proficiency certifications, UI/UX Designs, etc, all done online at individual's pace.

But I guessed the knowledge I shared about these subjects didn't go far because I wasn't a "CELEBRITY" (just Kidding)

Attention is now being shifted to our calls because an influencer who wanted something good for his followers elevated the discussion to prominence on social media. I wished others would emulate him in sharing valuable knowledge rather than just the flaunting of wealth on their platforms of influence.

Suffice to mention that today, what technology has done is to liberalize the process of acquiring knowledge about just anything right from the comfort of our homes. Institutions abroad as well as global organisations and tech giants had invested and are still investing so much into making learning different skills so easy and affordable and there is no better time to appreciate this better than during the still-ravaging Covid-19 pandemic.

Afterall, even elementary schools in Nigeria switched to online learning during the lockdown to stay competitive, and many higher institutions still deliver lessons that way till date.

Institutions, tech companies and organisations like Harvard, Stanford, USIP, Oxford, MRU, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Hewlett Packard, Hubspot, LinkedIn, World Bank, WHO, ADBi, UNICEF, and a host of others are worthy of mention in this regard for their great contributions to online education and skills certifications.

Many of these institutions, including several learning platforms like Coursera, Udemy, Edx, Futurelearn, Opentech, Udacity, OpenWho, Agora, Trailhead, Semrush, etc, have made these courses available either for free or at greatly reduced costs so intending learners could benefit from their expertise without going broke to do so.

Even where some of them demand some dollars for the certificates, you can still get them for free through their financial aid and special coupons. Learners only need to be guided on how to go about it.

Whether you want to learn about Information and Digital technology, Marketing, Professional development, Administrative skills, Management, Health care, Language, Finance and Accounting, Customer service, etc, the classrooms to learn all are there in-built into our phones and computers.

Now that social media influencers are lending their voices to better use of phones for skills acquisition, I feel obliged to also contribute my knowledge of how it works to the discussion so as to guide intending learners into understanding how seamless and "ridiculously" cheap it is to learn and acquire skills certifications online.

You can imagine what a young school leaver awaiting University admission, a serving corps member, an employee with enough time to spare, a professional seeking improvement in skillset validation would gain with just a smartphone when deployed the right way.

I've therefore, taken up the challenge to write regularly about this. I guessed I won't have to wait to become a "celebrity" to do that.
