But I'd think that for these girlfriends who sometimes keep multiple sex partners they're likely to abdicate preventive measures more than prostitutes who takes it as a duty to always use protection.

While I'm not canvassing for the patronage of bordello, and not in any way saying it's better I think some of your points are hugely flawed.
