kennydee05:If u look at this 'result' very well, you will see that APC 'defeated' APGA only in the local govt areas in Aba and environs. This is not suprising given that APGA has its strongest base in Aba. Let me explain. The member representing Aba federal constituency is an APGA member with 4 other Abia reps from APGA as well. Abia state house of assembly has 14 APGA members with all the Aba seats, except Obingwa with APGA reps. APGA is the party that actually got the people's mandate in 2015 before Orji and Metuh stormed INEC office to change the result at midnight. PDP and Ikpeazu are still very weary of APGA and want to create an impression that the party is not as popular as people believe by writing results that give APC edge over APGA in a town that APGA is clearly the people's favourite with Hon. Ossy Prestige being a constant thorn in d flesh of Ikpeazu. So stop dreaming, APC doesn't have any base in Abia |
Noblecx:Ok. Enjoy |
Noblecx:The guy u were talking with and who was narrating funny stories to u is actually a disgruntled blogger on the fringes of sanity whom Obiano refused to renew the blackmail contract on political opponents that he had with peter obi. If u are a regular user of facebook with bias for anambra political stories, u may have come across him once or twice. |
Noblecx:If u believe that upper iweka tales, then I am no longer sure between u and him who is more pathetic. |
This sounds like approval for further discussions with the private investors in the project, judging from Fashola's statement. The heading is misleading. |
Polyphony:Nnewi has never voted for APGA right from the era of peter obi. So have patience until Nnewi have enough numbers to vote in illiterate ifeanyi ubah on their own. |
giles14:Before peter obi became governor, who knew him too? That is to tell u that the common denominator is APGA which unknown quantities like chidoka don't have but which is mandatory for them to have any hope in anambra guber elections. |
giles14:LOL. You are very confused. Nobody knows chidoka in anambra politics. Besides, his PDP that is already cursed from entering Governor's lodge amawbia is torn amongst 3 factions. |
Chef2000:Afonja. When will u put aregbesola to rest? |
moufan:Vote him out? Do people vote candidates out during elections or vote candidates in? Do u see what free education has done to u afonjas? Even before the election starts, Obiano is already assured of half of the votes to be cast just for being in APGA! This info is for u and other pomo-eating afonjas who think u know anambra |
betterABIAstate:Nwanne, biko show us one Aba-made bridge that has been built in Abia state since 1999 na. Shame no dey catch u sef to be identified with that satan-owned state? |
moufan:If that one road was not exposed, no one would know that the others had defects as most were done by the same company. Ambode is just a scam like Fashola. |
Sanchez01:What is Ambode doing that Obiano should copy from? Is it not the same ambode who was busy commissioning roads that collapse after one week until a nairalander exposed him? And what do u mean by 'frivolities'? I hear that alot from pained peter obi supporters |
I would have taken this seriously if it hadn't come from peter obi, a thief who looted over 200 billion from my state as governor and evaded tax for 8 years, thereby stealing from federal govt as well. |
Sanchez01:So when happy citizens showcase the achievements of their working governor, it is termed as media charade? Then tell us why some people always camp here to publicise the non-existent achievements of our cow-headed clown of a president. |
buffalowings:The southeast, with the exclusion of Abia state, is more developed than the north. |
shaibu123:I will take an alcoholic over a gaylord Peter Obi, who used the head of his own son, Eloka, for money rituals, anyday, anytime. |
Sanchez01:Obiano in 3 years has already surpassed what Peter Obi did in 8 years. Why won't u hate him? |
BlackOnassis:What does the north have other than an army of almajiris and muslim terrorists and cow-headed animals in human form, all united by a satanic cult called islam? |
LOL. Okafor Obinna is a well known APC clown in Anambra state who is bitter that Obiano is not supporting his ambition to be the deputy national president of NANS. He is contesting for the post just so that he can loot money there to buy a new car after wrecking his former car in a drunk-driving accident in Abuja. We know these foools very well and no matter how hard they try, they can't stop Obiano's second term bid with their media propaganda. |
michaelandre:LOL! Tell this to anyone who hasn't been to Ibadan, not me. Ibadan is globally infamous as the biggest slum in West Africa! |
michaelandre:But u afonjas always celebrate Ibadan na. The mega village with a million mud-walled houses and brown rusted roofs! Can u compare that village to Awka of yesterday? |
9japipper:LOL. Hating is allowed. |
Evidence of good governance. Unlike one state in particular where their governor commissions weighing scale as dividend of democracy! 3 flyovers in 3 years and one Okoro south of the boundary is still struggling with one substandard flyover in 6 years! |
NgeneUkwenu:LOL. If u have been following me here, you will know that I care less about Buhari's APC rigging the 2019 presidential election or PDP's fate. I even support whatever measures APC take to totally annihilate PDP from our political space as that will be "one down, one to go". I am only interested in knowing that neither of those two filths import their backwardness to Anambra. |
NgeneUkwenu:The rigged Imo senatorial election by incumbent Okoroawusa, u mean? |
NgeneUkwenu:Mr man, stop barking here or just swerve! Okoroawusa wouldn't have been governor of Imo state in 2011 if he had used any other party other than APGA to contest against the ruling PDP in the state. He won his re-election simply because he was on the ballot as the incumbent. APC has no place in igboland and even Okoroawusa knows that the party is on borrowed time there. As for Obiano needing APC to win, ask Ngige why he really doesn't want to contest again if he is sure that APC can use federal might to win the election. Ngige, a greedy, goat-bearded dwarf, holds the record as the politician with the highest number of contests in guber elections in the state, so why would he suddenly stop even with the federal powers he now has? 2013 gave him a lot of answers. |
arushiuga:This outdated propaganda that Obiano will soon defect to APC is boring. Can't u guys come up with something more creative? Was it not 2 weeks ago that Andy Uba was also reported to be contemplating joining APC? The same Andy you claim to have met in ur PDP get together dream. Chris Uba does not need introduction. The only condition he will allow peace in anambra PDP is to be allowed a free hand to pick the PDP guber candidate. Did u guys concede that to him? |
Well, since the op is slow, let me help him. By the middle of next year, expect the 3 factions of Anambra PDP, namely : Oguebego, Emeakaiyi and Nweke to resume their court actions on who the authentic faction is and to conduct their seperate primaries to choose their party flagbearer, all armed with different High court orders from Awka to PH to Abuja and Kafanchan. INEC as usual will select any court order that recognises the weakest of the candidates in the estimation of the APC until the supreme court gives the final order just one week to the election. This will be in addition to the fact that PDP won't be the usual compliments of the police, army and other federal apparatus that they have always relied upon to rig elections in anambra state. APC is already an outcast not just in anambra but the entire Igboland. So everything is looking good for Obiano and APGA. By 2019, it would be a miracle if PDP wins a single national assembly seat in anambra as APGA will have its own presidential candidate. |
stsinner:Lol. U are joking, right? |

Even at that, I consider the fly over an ongoing project which was halted for reasons unknown. It is high time we stopped celebrating mediocrity. Good road networks are basic rights and not favour. Obiano should take a cue from Ambode. If you're serious with what you're assigned to do, frivolities would be the last thing on the mind.
