You can keep lying to yourself but everybody who has been to enugu knows the town doesn't have water. You can't dig a borehole there because you won't find water That's why 85% of residential buildings in enugu always have clogged, smelly toilets as they have to wait for fresh water deliveries from Anambra via tankers to flush down their 2-day old feces. The piping of water in enugu is a joke. Only 5% of enugu is serviced by the erratic pipes and the water isn't even piped into houses but to a public point where wawa village city people will go & fetch with their buckets like fleas Enugu villagers

The fact is that enugu people are lazy and witless, that is why they can't sustain any industry in their state. They all run to Anambra for economic survival. A global hotel brand like Golden Tulip had to flee enugu after they discovered the odd way to source for water in that town. They could no longer bear the shame of water tankers from Anambra lining up outside their hotel on a daily basis to fill up its storage tanks. It was a sight that belittled their brand. Today, Golden Tulip is enjoying their Anambra operations at Agulu due to the abundant availability of water all over Anambra. Pharmaceutical giants, Juhel, is also considering consolidating its manufacturing operations in Awka as they can no longer endure the water problem in enugu which is eating into their profit margins. Anambra businesses make an average of 200 million naira daily supplying enugu town with water via tankers. Also Shoprite enugu is only managing to survive as wawa people are too poor to sustain it even as water is ever elusive.

Dalu nwanne. It is not today but a very long time ago that I noticed that wawa(enugu) people are never happy whenever good news emanate from Anambra. They use different monikers to try and paint the image of Anambra bad but today it is backfiring on them. The current boom in the hospitality industry in Anambra can be partially attributed to the lack of water in enugu which is embarrassing hoteliers there due to the fact that hotels in enugu now ration water to their customers or in more serious cases, charge customers seperately for water usage. I will be back to continue.

There is no war. It is just like saying there is war between America and Haiti. Is that not laughable? Enugu(wawa) people are far beneath the Anambra man. They are very inferior to us in any way you can think of. Now that Anambra investors are pulling out of enugu due to the fact that enugu lacks water and residents and businesses there have to make bookings two days in advance for water tankers from Anambra to supply them water, you can see how fast that overrated town is going down. Enugu is the only town I know of where the showers in most houses are just for decoration and their toilets don't flush

You are not making sense. Do you know how much Anambra businesses make each day exporting water to Enugu via tankers? It is enough to buy the whole enugu state ten times over. Enugu has officially been relegated by Owerri and Awka as the eastern hospitality hubs. Owerri and Awka could pass for resort cities of Nigerian standard. The more reason why Anambra needs an International Airport and that of Owerri need to start taking international flights. Both cities are very promising and need good advertising.

What is happening to Enugu is a result of deliberate effort to educate Anambra investors to avoid that state henceforth. We are educating them that Enugu lacks water which makes life uncomfortable for living & business and that wawa people are very inferior to Anambra people so they should be the ones running to our state for survival. The only thing still keeping Enugu alive is their overrated airport. Once d Anambra int'l airport is completed, Anambra will explode in a boom never before seen while Enugu goes into demise. Give Enugu just ten years after our airport is complete & that town will turn to a mass of rusted brown roofs.

Let's enrich this thread with more news and pictures. As long as Anambra is growing ahead of our inferior neighbours, the pleasure is mine.

The only thing still giving Enugu economy a little breath of life is their overrated airport. Once our new international airport in Anambra is complete and functional, nobody will have any reason to stay back in Enugu that suffers a severe water problem and have inferior, low-minded people.

Lack of water and their inferiority to Anambra indigenes is taking its toll on Enugu and its economy. If not for Anambra businessmen who supply Enugu with water on a daily basis via tankers, it would have been worse.

It is the same company. They are in PH, Lagos and Onitsha. They produce the same products.

I know it is the same company. But peter obi took the part that makes non-alcoholics to PH while all the Onitsha brewery produces is different brands of alcohol. Even Life breweries in Onitsha is the same thing. They sold their only non-alcoholic brand to one company in Ogun state. They have saturated Onitsha with alcohol.

Anambra and Imo threads are the only threads still active on nairaland because I have a level of regard for Imo people. They are not as lazy like wawa and abakaliki people or crooked criminals like Abia people. Today, almost all investments into Igboland is directed to Anambra and to a lesser extent, Imo. The water scarcity in Enugu and their inferiority to Anambra people has dried up investments there and Anambra investors are now doing the expected.
